I am sitting here heartbroken trying to come up with the appropriate words to use to describe my experience. I came in today with my daughter and 2 of her friends to look for prom dresses. My daughter has struggled with sensory issues her entire life that make certain situations challenging. After finding the perfect dress she was so excited to try it on and show her friends. We struggled in the dressing room because I couldn't figure out how to help her get it on and she ended up stuck at one point. Long story short when we finally got the dress on I couldn't figure out how to lace the back and reached out to the associate for guidance. She flat out refused to help stating "No I don't want to go in there". My daughter was brought to tears and of course the 3 girls refused to buy the dresses they all wanted out of principal. It pains me that in 2026 this is how people treat others with disabilities. read more

My daughter, a friend and I recently visited Just B looking for a prom dress. The women were extremely helpful and provided her with a variety of options with a broad range of prices. This store is a must for formal wear! We had been a regular customer buying proms dresses for years. This year, I purchased a mother's dress for my daughter's wedding and it wasn't sized correctly. Bianca, the owner quickly provided me options to buy one on rack and also called manufacturer for me. I was able to exchange it for correct size! This is not a common practice and Bianca made it right! I recommend this store since the styles are unique, prices are very reasonable, and all of the staff helps with recommendations. I have a beautiful Mother's dress that has style! Today, I am extremely happy with Bianca's customer service and look forward to the day I will wear this beautiful dress! read more

My friends and I went to just b. We have never left a store feeling worse in our life. First of all, let me start off horrible customer service. We are 18 and have our first prom this year and the employees would not let us try on and the main fitting rooms because we didn't bring a parent. They made us feel horrible when the dress wouldn't fit us. They made four of us try in one room because we were taking up too much space. Also in the beginning they said "we aren't letting these girls play around" and continuously said to their other coworkers let's get these four girls over with. We were not causing any trouble. We were simply just trying to look for prom dresses we felt abandoned because we have no place near us and this was the most convenient do not come here. It's not worth your mental health being drained. Also, can we talk about how expensive these dresses are for what reason for what reason? Most of them are hideous. $1000 each for what they literally buy them for $100 ridiculous. Do not come here. They have under aged workers as well. read more

I purchased a prom dress for my daughter from just b and no alterations had been done for the dress whatsoever. Then covid-19 arrived and so prom has been cancelled. I reached out to Just B to ask for a Refund. They told me No refunds will be given as they are a small business and it would hurt them financially. NOTHING has been done to my daughters dress AND they are still in possession of it!!!! They posted something on fb about porch photo shoots for those who bought a dress for them and I commented on it that they could just refund my money. They deleted my comment AND blocked me from commenting on any of their stuff. This is terrible customer service. I have filed a complaint with Massachusetts consumers. read more

Buyer beware! When gown arrived and was not what we wanted they would not honor the "store credit" policy. Gown has never left the shop,never in our possession, never altered. We were charged for merchandise we did not receive. read more

Really cute little boutique. Owned by a Springfield resident i believe. Local ownership is great to see. They have the best selection of prom dresses. My friends and I all came here for our dresses, we looked through what they had in store, and through the catalogs. They were so helpful. We were in their for hours, the girls were really helpful about finding us what we really wanted. They were also really honest, if something didn't look good, they told us. THANK YOU. I ordered my dress from a catalog and when it arrived I went in and they tailored it for me. They also helped me pick out accessories to match. Then they wrote down on a list, per high school, that the particular dress had already been chosen. This meant that no other girl in my high school that year would be wearing my dress. That was HUGE. Our prom was ALL about the dress. Just B also has really cute everyday clothes and accessories. Springfield does not have too many stores like this and they are very unique in their clothing quality and service. Keep it up!! We love it!!! read more

Dresses marked up triple the cost & with proms being canceled due to covid -19 she wouldn't even consider giving my daughters the option of store credit for dresses that were not even fitted yet! I could see if they were altered but they were not!!! I could see if I was asking for a refund but I simply wanted store credit so for their Senior prom they could pick out another dress in the event these don't fit or the style completely change, she didn't care one bit her only concern was her making a profit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Would have been nice to know deposits are non-refundable before the deposit is given! Owner has terrible business ethics and does not care about her customers; only herself. At first the service and experience was great! But two days later I wanted to rip my hair out. I was promised that I could order a dress in a size up and was guaranteed I would get it. After putting a whole $200 cash deposit on the dress, a few days later I get a call saying that they can't get the dress. Don't promise paying customers a product you can't get! My prom dress experience was ruined. I wanted at least a 10% discount on my next dress if I ordered from them again but they refused. Either find a way to get my dress or compensate! So upset! With all of this and some rude workers, I suggest not shopping here. You can find a better store with the same dresses. read more

Was a bit surprised that after spending $418 on a dress for my daughter's prom that, when she picked it up, it wasn't pressed--wrinkles on the bottom. Typical boutique would have steamed it. I was very disappointed with the rudeness and unprofessional service that was received. While my God daughter was trying on dresses of a certain brand name, one that she liked by the way. Her Mother asked if they had a specific dress, which they didn't have. So her Mom asked if she could call a different store. The employee said, she couldn't call but you can. So her Mother called other stores at the time her daughter was still trying on dresses. An employee or owner stated to the Mother, "you need to make that phone call outside, out of my store, ( as she was pinning a dress for a customer ), it's very disrupting to my store and it's an insult and frankly it's just down right tacky". The Mom immediately ended her phone call and appoligized. I, on the other hand said she has a right to use her phone and call whoever she wants. " Yea, out of my store. Mind you there were no signs posted stating that you could not use your phone. The employee stated no she can't use her phone. I said it's not against the law. She said I know it's not, it's just tacky. At this point I said something I should not have said and for that I'm sorry. What she said and the way she said it, in the front of everyone in her store, left my friend feeling soo embarrassed and humiliated. I felt for her. Now mind you I was in a store just recently at the Evergreen walk and the employee there called a store for me that was not affiliated with their store. I find that to be outstanding customer service. I also would like the owner of this establishment to know her reputation proceeds itself. We went into several stores after, and the comments were, the owner can be very rude. In closing the other stores we went to after, also suggested other stores to us with no affiliation to their store. It's called networking. You need to try it, coming from one business owner to another. read more

Love this boutique. The dresses are chic and fashion forward.The consultant was very helpful and offered some great advice on accessories. I will definitely be coming back! I would suggest shopping early if it is for an event. You will most likely need to pre-order. If you are shopping last minute and buying off of the rack (like me), be prepared for a limited selection, and opt for alterations. read more

I left a message for the owner to contact me over two weeks ago which has gone unanswered. Zero Stars! They are the rudest salespeople I have ever experienced. My daughter and I were asked to leave the store. We showed them a dress that she liked online to see if they had it in their stock. They said they did not carry it but could order it for us. When I asked if they would honor the on line price, the salesgirl replied with a snicker, "No, plan on the price to be at least doubled." So like any smart customer would, I told her that that was not something I was interested in. She then became defensive and after whispering behind our backs, she approached us and asked us to leave. She stated that she was "protecting her business" and my daughter ran out crying. My daughter will never forget her first experience prom dress shopping. Last I knew, the best way to protect one's business is to treat the customers well so that they come back, not to kick them out. She did a fine job of protecting her business, I immediately left her shop (with a crying daughter) and walked the mall and went to 3 bridal shops from here to Hartford looking for a dress, and told them all of our horrible experience. They were mortified and would now question whether they would send customers to Just B any longer. We found a gorgeous dress, the shop doted on my daughter like she was a princess, ordered her a new dress so she would have a new one that no one tried on, and waived the rush order fee as a courtesy. Now THAT is how to protect one's business. Now for the next 4 years when my daughters are prom dress shopping, I know where to go and where to stay far away from...so will my friends. read more
