If you're going to have security, keep them at the entrance/exit. It's rude and uncomfortable for them to profile your shoppers and follow them around the store. -seasonal items don't stay long. There is also a convenience store Gulf Express that has snacks and drinks with the gas station. Fuel prices were surprisingly decent so you don't have to exit the Turnpike and hunt around for a bargain. My review is for the eastbound plaza. Jamie's first impression sums it up: "This looks like a Home Depot, but for clothes." This Old Navy looks very much like a warehouse, complete with half-stocked shelves and empty racks. It's possible that, since the holidays have come and gone-- plus they were having a 70% off sale-- that the clothes flew off the racks and employees haven't had the time to restock. It's possible, anyway. But I have a feeling this is the usual. Dressing rooms are in the very back. It took a little while to check out, as several people were returning items they were likely gifted for Christmas. Jamie found a pair of pants, listed for $29.99 but stocked under a sign toting 50% off. When we got up to the register, the pants were on sale... for $29. A whole 99c off. Whoopee! He decided to go ahead and purchase, as he did really like the fit and feel of the pants (casual, without the "cheap" material). Go for the creepy mannequins (headless babies, male mannequins with their hands in an awkwardly forced BDSM-esque position behind their backs), perhaps pick up a pair of pants. Since I don't traverse the halls of Eastfield Mall often, I couldn't even tell you when this particular Rainbow opened. We had some time to burn before seeing a movie at Eastfield, and decided to do a little window shopping. Enter, Rainbow. Rainbow is known for it's cheap, colorful, and sometimes, loud clothing. For example, I bought a black flatbill that proclaims "BOSS" in big white block letters from Rainbow. You don't go for quality, you go to add cheap "flair" pieces to your existing look. We saw a cool plaid button-up tee with a smattering of embroidered patches on it that I just had to try on. Other than that one item, I came up pretty much empty handed. I asked an employee if the fitting rooms needed to be unlocked, and didn't really receive a response other than a sigh, a hint of an eyeroll and a silent walk back to the fitting rooms. Tried it on, noticed that the material was cheaper/thinner than I expected, but decided to purchase anyway (layer!). Over the loudspeaker I hear: "5 MINUTES!" and then realized they were closing. A quick checkout, we headed towards the exit, which had the metal security gate pulled halfway down over it. Nothing quite screams "welcome, valued customers!" like a ghetto metal gate pulled over the entrance/exit.

I was just shopping today for a new cell phone and other electronics two staff members ignored me when I asked to purchase the items. One actually rolled her eyes when I said, I do not speak Spanish, do you speak English! The other just ignored me and went back to chatting with her coworkers.
