THIS PLACE IS CLOSED. Just as well, all their rental equipment was old and worn out. Tablecloths had nasty stains, tables were wobbly, dishes were chipped, and both owners had huge attitudes. Some businesses stay beyond their time, and this was one of them. read more

We ordered 40 stools from them. The stools were all different sizes, colors, and most were hardly usable. They were all supposed to be bar height but several were not, some had vinyl fabric covering on the seats that was ripped. When we called to complain we were told we should have asked for the upgraded stools! We asked for them to come pick up the stools and were told they would give us a break on the $125 pickup fee and only charge us $50 to pickup the junk stools. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Though we explicitly said dance floor must be delivered at a specific time, and though it was spelled out on credit card authorization form submitted, the dance floor came 1 hour later, smack in the middle of caterer set up. We received no calls they were running late. The panels are all 3'x3' -- so we could cart them off ourselves at event's end. But we found the hardware stripped on two locked-together panels, making a difficult to transport 3x6 panel. And in transport, several parquet tiles fell of the floor, needing glue. They did call ahead when planning to pick up floor. My overall sense is that this company flies by the seat of its pants somewhat. If you do use them, be very specific and get terms in writing. read more

We were in a bind and needed a tent and moon bounce at the last minute when most tent rental companies did not have any tents available due to time of year and the many graduation parties, etc. Melissa and her crew were extremely responsive and were able to provide all the party services that we required at the last minute. Her team worked out of their normal work hours and were able to get everything up. Melissa was extremely responsive and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were happy. Would definitely recommend using Rainbow Rentals again! read more

I agree with Chrissy completely. The business practices were shady at best, the materials and equipment given to use were shoddy in appearance, and Melissa Bell was very mean spirited at times. They claim to have a "modern showroom" haha what a joke! its one big room over cluttered with items some which are way out dated. The employees seem to be polite however the heavy set woman who is the owners wife is a rude nightmare. She has not one customer service friendly bone in her body. When you tell them an item didn't work they tell you oh read your contract you should have called and someone would have brought you one...explain that when you give the contract people! Not to mention that when I got there to pick my stuff up the order had been deleted. So I'd stay clear from this place! They need some hospitality training and to remember that the customer is what keeps them in business....I will never return here and I will make sure neither does my family and friends... read more

Do NOT use this business for lawn equipment repair! I brought 2 pieces of equipment in to be looked at on a Monday (both were actually working, just not running as well as they should). I paid a $35 estimate fee for each and was told I'd have a call in a day or 2 with an estimate and that the pieces would probably be fixed (if I authorized it) by Friday. Did not hear from them by Thursday so I left a message. No reply. I called again on Friday and talked to the technician. The 1st piece of equipment only needed a new blade and some greasing. I actually supplied them with the new blade when I brought it in. Although they have a minimum 1 hour of labor fee that is $70, I was told when I first dropped it off that they would pro-rate the job because it was so small. When I picked up the equipment later, I was charged $105 for one hour of work, shop fees, and grease....in addition to the $35 I paid for the estimate. So...$140 to put on a new blade and grease it and I actually supplied them with the blade! The 2nd piece of equipment I took in for repair was also working, just making a strange sound when it would run. The technician who gave me the estimate on Friday quoted an amount that didn't make the repair worthwhile because I could buy a new one for the same price. I told him not to repair it. He seemed annoyed and then mentioned that he'd already gone ahead and put in a new part and was going to order the other part it needed. I asked him why he began working on the equipment when this was the first time I was hearing of the estimated repair price and that I had not authorized him to do any work before my approval. He did not reply. Needless to say, when I picked up that piece of equipment, he handed it over to me disassembled with the parts in a box and said that the estimate fee doesn't include putting the parts back together. What a scam...this means that they are requiring you to proceed with the repair or else they will return your equipment to you unusable....and remember that it was originally working when I took it in, just making a strange sound! read more

Rainbow Rentals is a HORRIBLE company with even worse customer service. I paid a $500 deposit then had to cancel my event and gave them more than 30 days notice. The company refuses to issue a refund and instead gave a store credit of only $400. Several months later when trying to use this store credit I was given the run around and told I had $40 left after using their services! I never received any such services nor can they show the invoices for such services. I have mine showing a credit yet they refuse to honor it. Shady buisness practices by shady people who refuse to give any information or explaniation. Steer clear and go else where! read more

This place has very questionable business practices. I returned my U-Haul truck to them (after picking it up at a different U-Haul location) and filled up the gas tank 3/4ths of the way (in accordance with U-Haul policy) at a local gas station .5 miles down the road from them. (Spent 50 dollars doing this). I dropped off the U-Haul 5 mins afterwards and was told I was good to go. The next day I receive a receipt from them charging me 45 dollars for "fuel." After calling the company to dispute the charge, I was told it was half full and not 3/4ths full. (Hard to believe considering I have the receipt detailing the time and the address of the gas station I used- let me reiterate, it was .5 miles from their location!). They claimed they took a picture on one of their worker's cell phones to prove that the tank was half full. When I showed up to see the picture in person (which still does not prove anything to me), I was told the worker was not around and to come back next week to see the cell phone picture. I dont see why the company does not just go with the customer to check the fue gaugel before letting the customer depart. They say they always take pictures on cell phones of the fuel gauge because this happens often. This seems sketchy to me and not obvious business practice. The guy behind the desk, Fabio, refused to give me the U-haul regional manager's information, saying he needed time to explain "his side of the story" to him first. I called U-Haul on my own and they have since opened up an investigation into this company. Bottom line- steer clear, they are engaged in some shady behavior. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Rainbow Rentals in a recent rental of a concession item for an office Holiday Party. We rented the cotton candy machine and couldn't be happier with the service, quality and overall kindness that we received from Rainbow Rentals. Melissa went out of her way to ensure that I was able to rent the item on a tight budget, get it here in time for the event and have it collected in a timely matter. She took (about 100) of my calls with a never-ending amount of patience and offered true kindness when I was struggling with logistics and funds. She even made allowances where she could which I felt went the extra mile. The delivery team was efficient and pleasant to deal with and the cotton candy machine itself was a HUGE HIT at the party! I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company and am glad to have supported a female minority, veteran owned small business. read more
