    An overly expensive steak
    Anne P.

Soooooooooo, This really ruined rainforest cafes for me. I get it, we aren't in the states, and things are done differently in other countries ... buttttt just no. We paid 27€ for a steak plate ... anddd it was eaten within 5 bites. it was THIN, no flavor, and all around horrible. Now a simple fish and chips, shouldn't have been messed up right? WRONG! Why was it dripping in oil! It made me so sad, whenever I asked for malt vinegar our waitress gave me the dumbest look and walked away, never coming back. Now, we tried coming to eat here the night before and it was PACKED. So we decided we'd try again the next day and try to make it before a lunch rush, and we did just that! We came in, and there was only 9 other families dining. We thought we'd get great service and all. Wasn't the case. Waited 20 minutes for water and a coke, the alcoholic beverage came at the end of the meal, we just wanted to leave because we just couldn't even order any food. There were sooo many people working! And it was like no one was being helped. However I still love the thunderstorms and how the animals move, that's the ONLY reason I gave this place a second star.

Located right near Disney parks, convenient place to eat if you're looking for a nice sit down restaurant outside of Disney. This particular location doesn't have a bar, just table seating. I've been to ones that have both, just went in for a beer and appetizers. I got the spinach artichoke dip and their only beer on tap. The beer was pretty good for a light beer, not usually my first choice but it was good. The food and drinks came out quickly but the waiter didn't check in often at all. I wasn't in a hurry but something to keep in mind if you are on a time limit.

Veggie burger and sweet potato fries..

I've seen this place for years and kinda dismissed it for whatever reason. I was dragged into this place with my husband for lunch, but was glad he chose it. This is definitely a different dining experience hence the name, you walk in and do feel you're in the Amazon rain forest. I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries and oh my was it delicious! It was made with quinoa and lentils, with avocado, alfalfa sprouts and mozzarella cheese. It was very filling. I also had the Coronita, yep just let it sounds a frozen margarita with a bottle of Corona in it. Delicious! Expect to fork out some $$$, you're at an amusement park resort area near a major city. Would I go here again?!? Probably would definitely enjoyed my experience.

If you've been to one, you've been to them all. These are definitely a chain, because every single one has looked exactly the same. That being said, the cafe in Chessy, France has some unique, refional items on the menu. I had Siva's Curry, which while not bad, it wasn't that good, either. It tasted like a thinner version of Korma, however the shrimp were generously sized and plentiful. The Mojo Ribs were the same as everywhere else, and the kids burgers had the dollop of bernaise that the French are so wild about slathering on their burgers. I was bummed to find out that they are not part of Landry's Select, so no priority seating or use of points, but they do give 10% off. Very middle of the road experience, if not a tad disappointing.

I was actually quite impressed with this Rainforest Cafe. Yes, it's pricey. It's the best experience we've had at one. We eat early for European standards so the place was not busy at all. We were sat right away. Greeted and orders taken. Server was nice and attentive. Food came out SO quick! We actually all liked the flavor of our food. I would bring my kid again they enjoyed all the animals and sounds.

Was in Disney with a group of 15 kids. We called into Rainforest cafe before arriving to ask if we could make a reservation, we where told no and told we would have to just come in. When we came in we were told that there was a 45 min wait as there was 18 of us. Despite advising the Maitre De that we would be happy to be split up and sit in 4's we where told that we would have to come back. Naturally we were annoyed as we could have been told 45 mins before when we came in to ask for a table. The attitude of the maitre de was really poor. After asking to speak to a manager we were seated! The service here was equally poor and the food was just alright. You an expect to pay a fortune for your family to eat here with a main course starting at €19 for a simple burger. We asked for the bills to be deprecated and told we couldn't (despite again advising that we were happy to sit in separate tables) WORST DISNEY EXPERIENCE YET!

Get the chocolate lava cake with the sparkler. Truly a legendary dessert. Best restaurant everrrrrr (okay not really but it's super nostalgic for me so it's fun to indulge). To be completely serious the food was much better than I expected and that made me really happy.

The food here is good, especially the pastas! When you enter you immediately know why it's called the rainforest! Great place to take children at! The food is of course expensive, but if you compare it to the other restaurants inside disney... I'd pick the Rainforest!

    Part of the theming

This place was fantastic for theming. It's part of the Disneyland Paris village and I couldn't walk past the entrance and not go in. Every part of this restaurant is themed like a rainforest. There are mechanical elephants and snakes and butterflies..a fish tank archway and a host of other things to capture your imagination. The food was great too. I had grilled salmon with gnocchi and there were no complaints. This would be a fantastic place to take the kids and still get restaurant quality food. Definitely recommend it!!

Burgers are ok, fries could be improved, price is astronomic: 97EUR for three meals and three cokes and espressos. Ridiculous.

It's good in what it has to offer: fast food. Still 1 000 000 times better than McDonald's

We each got the combo platter that allowed us to try multiple meats and sides, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the meat. Especially the brisket, a particular favorite of mine when it comes to BBQ. The mac and cheese was a solid side, but the coleslaw was underwhelming. As Americans, yes, we expect large portions. I've been to Europe often enough to manage those expectations pretty well, so I was also pleased when we each reached a comfortable stopping point and were able to get takeaway boxes for our leftovers. I know it's traditionally trés gauche to take leftovers from French restaurants, but I was happy to see that the trend is catching on. After all, not wasting food is a good thing, is it not? We carried those leftovers all the way to Amsterdam the next day--that's how much we wanted to finish them. We opted to sit in the terrace seating that has a suspended plank for a table so that we could people watch Rue St. Denis, a busy street in this arrondissement. It's in a great neighborhood that was vibrant and full of life, even in the wake of the pandemic. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to try good Texas style BBQ in the middle of Paris.

The raclette came exactly as it should in the French Alps: generous slices of raclette cheese melted fresh over boiled potatoes, accompanied by a beautiful selection of cured meats (ham, prosciutto, and saucisson), cornichons, pearl onions, and a simple green salad with a light vinaigrette. The fondue was served in a traditional pot with cubes of rustic bread for dipping. Here's a polished review: If you're looking for an authentic taste of the French Alps in Paris, Les Fondus de La Raclette is a gem. We ordered the Savoyard Fondue and the Plain Savoie Raclette, and both were outstanding. The fondue was rich, silky, and deeply flavorful, with the perfect balance of Alpine cheeses. Paired with crusty bread, every bite was comforting and indulgent. The raclette was the highlight of the meal. Thick slices of melted Savoie cheese were generously scraped over warm potatoes and served with an assortment of high-quality cured meats, cornichons, pearl onions, and a fresh green salad. The combination of creamy cheese, savory charcuterie, tangy pickles, and crisp vegetables was simple yet absolutely delicious, just as traditional raclette should be. Beyond the food, the experience was made even better by the warm hospitality. The owner personally welcomed us, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. Our server was friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain the dishes and ensure everything was perfect. The restaurant itself is cozy and charming, with warm wood interiors, rustic Alpine décor, and an inviting atmosphere that transports you straight to a mountain chalet in the French Alps. Despite being in the heart of Paris, it feels intimate, authentic, and wonderfully unpretentious. A memorable meal with exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger over another glass of wine and one more bite of melted cheese. I would happily return the next time I'm in Paris.
