I am aware that you should not expect 5 star service and food from a tourist chain such as Rainforest Cafe, however our experience at this location was pretty poor. First and foremost, we waited nearly 20 minutes after being seated before anyone came to serve us, despite flagging people down multiple times. Similarly, we had trouble getting service when we needed more drinks or to pay our bill which was almost an issue as we were trying to catch a shuttle bus at a specific time. I understand that in Europe, especially France, it's not uncommon for servers to leave you alone until you need them but here we were essentially ignored. Luckily the food was edible, although edible is the only praise I would give it. It was not very tasty or well presented. This was not a Rainforest Cafe experience I would recommend and I hope ours was an outlier. read more

Soooooooooo, This really ruined rainforest cafes for me. I get it, we aren't in the states, and things are done differently in other countries ... buttttt just no. We paid 27€ for a steak plate ... anddd it was eaten within 5 bites. it was THIN, no flavor, and all around horrible. Now a simple fish and chips, shouldn't have been messed up right? WRONG! Why was it dripping in oil! It made me so sad, whenever I asked for malt vinegar our waitress gave me the dumbest look and walked away, never coming back. Now, we tried coming to eat here the night before and it was PACKED. So we decided we'd try again the next day and try to make it before a lunch rush, and we did just that! We came in, and there was only 9 other families dining. We thought we'd get great service and all. Wasn't the case. Waited 20 minutes for water and a coke, the alcoholic beverage came at the end of the meal, we just wanted to leave because we just couldn't even order any food. There were sooo many people working! And it was like no one was being helped. However I still love the thunderstorms and how the animals move, that's the ONLY reason I gave this place a second star. read more

Located right near Disney parks, convenient place to eat if you're looking for a nice sit down restaurant outside of Disney. This particular location doesn't have a bar, just table seating. I've been to ones that have both, just went in for a beer and appetizers. I got the spinach artichoke dip and their only beer on tap. The beer was pretty good for a light beer, not usually my first choice but it was good. The food and drinks came out quickly but the waiter didn't check in often at all. I wasn't in a hurry but something to keep in mind if you are on a time limit. read more

I've seen this place for years and kinda dismissed it for whatever reason. I was dragged into this place with my husband for lunch, but was glad he chose it. This is definitely a different dining experience hence the name, you walk in and do feel you're in the Amazon rain forest. I had the veggie burger with sweet potato fries and oh my was it delicious! It was made with quinoa and lentils, with avocado, alfalfa sprouts and mozzarella cheese. It was very filling. I also had the Coronita, yep just let it sounds a frozen margarita with a bottle of Corona in it. Delicious! Expect to fork out some $$$, you're at an amusement park resort area near a major city. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. These are definitely a chain, because every single one has looked exactly the same. That being said, the cafe in Chessy, France has some unique, refional items on the menu. I had Siva's Curry, which while not bad, it wasn't that good, either. It tasted like a thinner version of Korma, however the shrimp were generously sized and plentiful. The Mojo Ribs were the same as everywhere else, and the kids burgers had the dollop of bernaise that the French are so wild about slathering on their burgers. I was bummed to find out that they are not part of Landry's Select, so no priority seating or use of points, but they do give 10% off. Very middle of the road experience, if not a tad disappointing. read more

I was actually quite impressed with this Rainforest Cafe. Yes, it's pricey. It's the best experience we've had at one. We eat early for European standards so the place was not busy at all. We were sat right away. Greeted and orders taken. Server was nice and attentive. Food came out SO quick! We actually all liked the flavor of our food. Exactly what you'd expect at any Rainforest Cafe. The food was average, but compared to the cost of other nearby restaurants at Disney Village, they're a reasonable deal. The quality was definitely better even if the price was a touch better than some. The service was average and the restaurant was busy (to be expected). Nothing was fabulous, but nothing was terrible. Was in Disney with a group of 15 kids. We called into Rainforest cafe before arriving to ask if we could make a reservation, we where told no and told we would have to just come in. When we came in we were told that there was a 45 min wait as there was 18 of us. Despite advising the Maitre De that we would be happy to be split up and sit in 4's we where told that we would have to come back. Naturally we were annoyed as we could have been told 45 mins before when we came in to ask for a table. The attitude of the maitre de was really poor. After asking to speak to a manager we were seated! The service here was equally poor and the food was just alright. You an expect to pay a fortune for your family to eat here with a main course starting at €19 for a simple burger. We asked for the bills to be deprecated and told we couldn't (despite again advising that we were happy to sit in separate tables) WORST DISNEY EXPERIENCE YET! read more

after a long transport from UK to France we sat down for a dinner @ RFC...my wife didn't enjoy her rasta pasta as the pasta was over cooked, the caesar salad left much to be desired for, but our son enjoyed his portion of the same dish! our daughter's salmon was good, mixed vegetables delish! my beyond burger was as usual...great! the food wait was bad tho, and we probably won't return here. read more

We came to this Rainforest Cafe location for our first dinner of our Disneyland Paris vacation. This was a special dinner as were celebrating our 2 year old's birthday! The hostess was very friendly and welcoming and spoke great English. Our waiter was friendly, spoke English, and was accommodating to our crazy toddler. I had the Siva Curry and my husband had the Pasta Pasta. Both dishes were cooked well, tasted great, and were out quickly. There was a snafu with payment but the issue was quickly resolved. Of course, it's higher priced, it's Disneyland after all. We would visit again if we were to return to Paris! read more

This place was fantastic for theming. It's part of the Disneyland Paris village and I couldn't walk past the entrance and not go in. Every part of this restaurant is themed like a rainforest. There are mechanical elephants and snakes and butterflies..a fish tank archway and a host of other things to capture your imagination. The food was great too. I had grilled salmon with gnocchi and there were no complaints. This would be a fantastic place to take the kids and still get restaurant quality food. Definitely recommend it!! read more

Family dinner after a long day at Disney Land Paris. Food was fine. Service was so so. Milk was warm and came in a dirty glass with bits of broken glass. Ordered water came in a bottle but no glass to drink it from. Food and drink were both slow in arriving. When eating fries I for one expect to be able to have ketchup to dip them in. The rainforest cafe is a really cool restaurant and bar in the disney village , it stay open very late. The atmosphere is really cool as there is some fake animals like elephants monkeys that make some noises!! the prices are a bit expensive coz this is still disney but the cocktails are excellent!! Its a cute theme. People who love animals and jungle theme i recommend this. It has foods for older and younger people. The souvenir shop is also very good. Prices are not high for what you get. Horrible service!!!! We were a party of 6 that came in to have a couple of drinks and the chocolate volcano cake for a friend's birthday at 9pm. The restuarant wasn't busy and they sat us at a table by the server station. We asked politely if we could have another table (many were available) and were constantly refused for no reason. We finally talked to the manager and all she would say is that the available tables were "closed" even though they were right next to the table they gave us. Even from the outside this place looks cool. After a full day of walking around Disneyland we decided to call in here and see what cool stuff they had on the inside. Everyone loved it sure. The food was traditional Americana - burgers, fajitas, steaks, etc. - basically what you would get at TGIFridays, Applebees, or any of those other American chains. It was good as was the service, which again, reminded me of TGIFridays. The reason to visit though is not the food, it is the atmosphere. The whole place looks like a real rainforest. The floor is stone, the walls and ceiling are covered in vines and plants and there are animatronic animals throughout which come to life during your meal. Gorillas, lions, elephants and more which all look extremely lifelike start moving right beside you. They spray mist in the air and the lights flash with sound effects to give the effect of being in a real rainforest. It was well worth the visit and the kids go crazy here sure. read more

We came here after Disneyland because of our childhood memories. It sucked. First of all, we ordered a pitcher of margarita and when we asked for extra tequila they wanted 10 euros for extra tequila when a normal drink was 10 euros. Then, the pitcher came out and it was tiny!!! Such a rip off. Not to mention the food was absolutely disgusting. We could tell they just heated up the food and brought it out because it came in 5 minutes. Understandable if this place was cheap, but no! Each meal was about 25 euros. I love the Rainforest Cafe, and this branch certainly lives up to the name. They have a bar, shop and restaurant, with the usual incredible theming of the rainforest, with the regular intervals of entertainment. The food is brilliant - with really fun menu names! The desserts are great - the volcano ice cream sundae looks brilliant with the sparklers! This restaurant is in Disney Village, and so gets very busy with crowds from the park, so you may have to wait quite a while a table. The service is good here too. read more
