I don't mean to be rude or roast that person. Onto the review. I have grown up with this park. I went to a very very VERY tiny school, essentially across the street. We'd constantly be walking over to do school, anything really. I have very fond memories of how nice and big the park was, no real issues to think of. Fast-forward to the present, no nostalgia goggles, this is a very nice park. They just put in a disc golf course, which is very exciting. It's still very spacious, very clean and nice...outdoor environment? They keep the grass, trees, etc, very well kept. Sorry, best way I could explain that. When I went, the playground was busy and still looked as nice as ever. There's still plenty of picnic tables or seating in general. I didn't go into the bathrooms, but those have never been "a truly horrifying experience" for my money. You can do SO much here! There's plenty of room to ride bikes or other "wheeled" activities, there's a volleyball court, there's a soccer field, a basketball court. I may even be forgetting something. OH! You can even just get a good walk or run in. Overall guys, this is an excellent park even if I didn't grow up coming extremely regularly while making some of my favorite childhood memories. They keep all the greens watered and healthy, the parks and other facilities as well, and overall you'll just find that you're likely never bored here.

I relocated to Longview this summer from southern Oregon and previously, Portland. Yoga is part of…read moremy life and wellbeing. I value a supportive teacher and community in my practice. I am not into designer yoga. I have visited all of the different studios around Longview (Holos, Tula, & YMCA), at least twice, in the event that I was having an "off" day. ReVive Yoga Studio is hands down my favorite for the following reasons: Eli is the best yoga instructor I have met in the Longview/Kelso area. He's skilled in his practice, but also funny and genuine. He meets his students where they are and encourages them to challenge themselves in a very comfortable, non-judgmental environment. If invited, he will make adjustments, too (to me, this is very important). He plays really great music throughout his classes. The studio space is warm and cozy, unlike some of the other studios in town that are more modern, and in my opinion, sterile. I also like the variety of classes offered at ReVive. My personal favorite is the Balance class. I only wish there were more classes available throughout the week. :). Anyway, I highly recommend this place and look forward to becoming a regular here. My son love the little playgrounds, giant building blocks and the tiny town. My partner and I sometimes feel like we have more fun than he does. Pricing is awesome! I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. My daughter did Donna's parks and rec class at 5…read moreyears old and then again at 6, followed by a full summer of volunteering, although she is quite a bit younger than the "normal" volunteers she has the maturity and pure passion to make up for it and had an amazing experience. The first thing all the kids are taught at Longacre is safety, regardless of age they're taught that the horses are bigger stronger and if not handle properly can lead to injury. I spent almost everyday this summer at the barn with the volunteers and was amazed by how extensive the education they got was, she didn't just teach them about horses, horsemanship and riding but also all the responsibilities that go into horse and barn ownership (definitely not for the faint of heart!). They would clean stalls, feed and water, groom, pick paddocks, clean tack, lunge, lead, ride and cool down. They even did car wash practice for the nexts days car wash fundraiser! The teens she had leading the volunteer program are a huge reason I believe in her methods, they're some of the most respectful and responsible kids I've ever met, and as I've gotten to know her other students over the last 9 months it's the same for all of them. They're also incredibly knowledgeable and taught us all a wealth of information. My daughter is continuing to volunteer and ride at at Longacre and I can't thank Donna and her barn family enough for taking her in and teaching her. We look forward to the many horse crazed years to come! I recommend Longacre to everyone, lessons are awesome but if you're serious about committing to horse ownership someday (especially with kids) the summer volunteering is a jump start into the responsibility of horse ownership without the commitment.
