Racheal Barnes is an amazing trainer, with multiple certifications and years of experience. Just by attending class, you get tips and can have conversations about any injuries, medical issues, or nutrition guidance. Multiple times a year, she does challenges to help reset and restore nutrition while getting your workout classes in. Any level, any body type, any age can take her classes. It is a judgement free zone. There are multiple classes to choose from including suspension strength training, booty building, HIIT, and Zumba. It's family oriented. I take my kindergartner to evening classes and there is a playroom and teens to watch over him while I work out. Sometimes she has either her cats or dogs there too for some added animal love. Classes are mostly 30 minutes and easy to fit into our busy schedules. The community of people who attend are kind, funny and supportive as we all work towards our own goals. This place has been a lifeline for me through some hard times, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am not into designer yoga. I have visited all of the different studios around Longview (Holos, Tula, & YMCA), at least twice, in the event that I was having an "off" day. ReVive Yoga Studio is hands down my favorite for the following reasons: Eli is the best yoga instructor I have met in the Longview/Kelso area. He's skilled in his practice, but also funny and genuine. He meets his students where they are and encourages them to challenge themselves in a very comfortable, non-judgmental environment. If invited, he will make adjustments, too (to me, this is very important). He plays really great music throughout his classes. The studio space is warm and cozy, unlike some of the other studios in town that are more modern, and in my opinion, sterile. I also like the variety of classes offered at ReVive. My personal favorite is the Balance class. I only wish there were more classes available throughout the week. :). Anyway, I highly recommend this place and look forward to becoming a regular here. If I lived in or even just 30 minutes closer to Longview, I would not hesitate to purchase one of their packages so that I could take classes whenever I wanted. If you love yoga, and you have compassion for yourself and are looking for that perfect spot, please, please, please do yourself a favor and go to Holos Yoga. Heck, even if you're just in town visiting friends or family - do it! You're body and mind will thank you! Also, before I forget to mention, their instructors are absolutely fantastic, they were super welcoming and themselves full of compassion for their students, and passion for the practice. The class was the Detox Flow (more advanced) at 5:30pm class on a Wednesday. I liked the teacher, Shae, and felt welcomed and encouraged even though some of the other people in the class were rocking some great inversions and other moves (that I can't do..). The practice room was larger than most other studios and there were 5 of us total. It wasn't as warm as Corepower, which I didn't mind at all. Bikram is usually 105, Corepower is usually 95, and I'd guess Holos was probably around 90. Kinda of perfect. But I also like non-heated classes, which they have here, too. There is a changing room and the bathrooms are outside the space (and you need a key).

I don't mean to be rude or roast that person. Onto the review. I have grown up with this park. I went to a very very VERY tiny school, essentially across the street. We'd constantly be walking over to do school, anything really. I have very fond memories of how nice and big the park was, no real issues to think of. Fast-forward to the present, no nostalgia goggles, this is a very nice park. They just put in a disc golf course, which is very exciting. It's still very spacious, very clean and nice...outdoor environment? They keep the grass, trees, etc, very well kept. Sorry, best way I could explain that. When I went, the playground was busy and still looked as nice as ever. There's still plenty of picnic tables or seating in general. I didn't go into the bathrooms, but those have never been "a truly horrifying experience" for my money. You can do SO much here! There's plenty of room to ride bikes or other "wheeled" activities, there's a volleyball court, there's a soccer field, a basketball court. I may even be forgetting something. OH! You can even just get a good walk or run in. Overall guys, this is an excellent park even if I didn't grow up coming extremely regularly while making some of my favorite childhood memories. They keep all the greens watered and healthy, the parks and other facilities as well, and overall you'll just find that you're likely never bored here.

I was originally invited to Train Together by my friend Susie, and I am so glad I went. I was out…read moreof shape and looking for a change, and I have officially "found my people" here in Longview! What makes Train Together unique is that it doesn't rely on traditional machines like treadmills or ellipticals. Instead, it's a customized 45-minute HIIT workout that changes every day. We use equipment like TRX straps, medicine balls, exercise resistance bands, battle ropes, dumb bells, rings, slides and more to create functional strength. The best way to describe this gym is a midway point between extreme CrossFit and Physical Therapy. The owner, Rob, has a wealth of knowledge regarding biomechanics. He and the trainers ensure you are moving with proper form--like learning how to land softly on jumps or keeping knees aligned over the second toe during squats to prevent injury. My Personal Results: Pain Relief: I had chronic shoulder pain (likely an impingement), but after a few months of isolating specific muscles with bands, the pain is gone. Real Strength: My posture has improved, and I feel stronger just standing up from a chair. I even noticed my arms don't get tired holding the hair dryer anymore! Definition: I am finally seeing muscle definition in my arms. Motivation & Flexibility: I am so motivated to stick with this program because they make it easy to be consistent. Even when I am out of town, I'm able to keep up with my routine. Rob recommended a travel kit to take on trips, and they offer pre-recorded workouts so I never have to miss a session just because I'm traveling. The gym is clean, organized, and offers childcare. Whether you are an elite athlete or a total beginner, everyone works out side-by-side in a welcoming environment. Between the Evolt scans, MyZone heart rate monitoring, and nutrition advice from Susie, you get incredible value and high-level feedback. Highly recommended!

This is a fabulous place to come and get fit. You have a warm up then a series of paired exercises…read more(like with TRX or slam balls, hand weights, bands etc) then cardio session then cool down. It is always fun. Very professional atmosphere, very clean, and the owner/trainer is positive and encouraging. If you want to get fit you can't lose! All levels of fitness can do it. Rob can give feedback and adapt up or down as needed. Even when I had a minor upper body injury/limitation for awhile, I still could come for lower body. Many classes per day, AM, mid day and late day.
