After installation, I found damage and deformation in parts of the gutter system. I also had an issue with downspout placement that led to damage and a safety concern requiring outside professionals to address. Two professionals indicated the issue appeared related to the gutter or downspout installation. I provided photos, documentation, and outside professional input, but the matter was not resolved to my satisfaction. There is no reason for a homeowner to create a dispute like this without cause. In my view, the installation created problems, damage followed, and the service did not match what I expected from a premium product. The company did not provide the accountability or resolution I expected, and I am now suing them. That lawsuit is a matter of public record, and anyone considering hiring this company should review it before making a decision. Based on my experience, I would not hire them again.

Paradise Gutters thru his representative Larry Larson requested a 25% down payment from me on same day, which was paid thru Mr. Lardon's PayPal account as a family and friends payment because, as stated by Mr. Larson, he could the funds immediately and could use them to buy the materials. However, he failed to mention that business payments made as friends and family are no guarantee by PayPal. Mr. Larson said that he needed about two weeks to secure the materials needed to do the work, but he never came back. Then, Mr. Larson said the he had a family emergency, that his father in law was sick, and he had to go out of town, and that he had no cellular signal. After calling multiple times and leaving numerous messages, I finally received a call from Mr. Larson, he told me that he was going to do the work the following week. The week past and Paradise Gutters never came or called about the job. At this point, I strongly believe this person and business are dishonest, and would like to warn other people about the deceiving business practices of Paradise Gutters and it's representative Larry Larson.

The owner was friendly and offered a good price with a good estimated turnaround time for the job to be completed. When the power washer was supposed to come, the owner informed us that person's family was impacted by the hurricane that hit North Carolina and would be delayed on that part of the contract. I agreed since that was an act of nature that impacted his worker. Then after a few weeks, I tried calling, texting, emailing multiple times to no response. Eventually I got ahold of him after 2 months and he had said he had COVID and was hospitalized. Now it has been another month since our last contact from the business owner and there has been no further outreach regarding finishing the contract. The screens part of the installation was nice, but our frame still looks like shit since it still hasn't been power washed. I am torn, but due to the continuous lack of communication and not completing the job we contracted, I can't recommend this business at this time.

So we decided to get a few quote, including the gutters. One of these companies was "The Brothers that just do Gutters". The sales rep (tech) came out, was very professional and had a quote very quickly. At the time we asked for white guttes but soon after he left we thought it over and changed our mind to black gutters. I called him right away with the change but n mind and the tech told us it wouldn't be a problem since nothing had been ordered. When we received the final quote, it had the entire order as "white" materials listed. However, at the bottom of the quote it had an entry that read, "Customers Note: This agreement is for black gutters around the entire house please call me to schedule". I spoke with the tech and he said, again, no problem, it'll all be black. So I signed and paid my deposit. Between the time I signed and got the schedule work to be done, there were a few times where they tried to schedule me without me requestlong. Which I attributed to lack of communication between the front desk and the tech, whom I had called several times to tell him to have the front desk stop scheduling me without my request. Finally the message got through. Fast forward to the time of work, the crew showed up as scheduled while we were at work but I noticed on the security cameras that they had unloaded WHITE GUTTERS! I called the manager and told him they had the wrong color, I sent him the work estimate, I pointed out the "Customers Note" and he dismissed it because the rest of the quote said white material. So for me to get the material in black I had to pay an additional $200.00. How is their mistake, the fact that maybe the tech didn't point out the statement or that purchasing didn't read the contract in its entirety my fault!? I do not recommend this company because they did not have the decency to face their mistake, and accept the responsibility that that they lack communication between themselves.
