(A dog had apparently gotten into the wiring and chewed it up). I called around to a few different businesses, but their availability was pushed pretty far out. Then I called Emerald Valley Backflow and spoke with Aaron. He seemed nice on the phone, and was able to schedule me for the same week. I called on a Tuesday and he scheduled me for Thursday morning at 10am. WELL- at 9:22am on Thursday he texted me and said he couldn't make it and needed to reschedule for Monday. We rescheduled for Monday at 4pm. At 2:43pm on Monday, he texted AGAIN saying he couldn't make it due to a "de" appointment. (Maybe he meant dentist?) I told him that I really needed this job done, and asked if he could come by any time that evening after his appointment (since it's practically summer and stays light out pretty late). He declined, and stated his availability for the coming week (which, did not work with my schedule at all). Making an appointment with a client TWICE and ditching out LAST minute BOTH TIMES is so unprofessional! If you need a job done, DO NOT call Emerald Valley Backflow.

The crew they assigned to the work, Seth and Chavis, were extremely knowledgeable, efficient and very hard working. They were also highly personable and just a delight to have around, even taking the time to tell us about the plants in our garden and how best to care for them. They very quickly took care of all of the sprinkler system problems, helped us set it up for optimal performance and left all work areas tidy and spotless. We were surprised that upon completion they didn't ask for payment and told us the company would check back to ensure we were happy and all work was satisfactory before invoicing. Gary, the owner, even came back personally a few days later to install a few lines we had missed. We can't say enough positive things about 4 Seasons, Gary, Seth and Chavis. We have worked with many contractors on numerous projects at our home over the years. My wife and I by far had our best experience with Ed and his crew. Our project was not a small one. We did a complete front yard renovation, including grass, flower beds, edging, paths, lighting, and irrigation. In our back yard we redid the irrigation, edging, lighting, and added a water feature. The communication from start to finish was outstanding. The ability of Ed to understand what we wanted was incredible. Nick and Jase totally made everything pop.
