Well, first of all, I want to say that the technicians have all been very helpful and professional. The management, however, is another story. The system itself seems to be a good system, but the company's policies are terrible. They rarely answer their phone (in hours they are suppose to be open) and once they sell you the system, they seem only interested in getting it serviced so they can make more money. Frankly, we wish we had bought from someone else. I spoke with a manager a while back and he was rude. A salesman showed up to my house at 8:00 at night. Spent 2 hours showing us the product. I told him I wanted to think it over and he got hateful with me. Told me not to look at reviews because they don't show up right (that's because they are all bad) once we read the reviews we decided not to go with this business, and after I told him that he started to put down all others that are compared to them and said I would be calling him back. BEWARE. Where do I start? The salesman. He came to the house to sell the rainsoft equipment. He tried to also sell us his book and some steaks. We foolishly bought the water softener, the airmaster, and the cleanstart for washer. He wanted to have them come install that evening. We asked to wait until the next day at least. When they showed up to install, they did not have all the equipment and didn't tell me until they had already started. During this installation, they ripped the door halfway off the dishwasher and hit the fridge, leaving a nice dent and scratch. They did reimburse us for the fridge door AFTER MIKE called us on a Saturday morning being extremely rude saying they didn't want to pay. Ihad to call the main office for them to do something. They installed the equipment they had on hand and said they would come back. When they came back, they were there until well after 10pm. (I do understand technical issues, I work in networking) However, they went to leave, and I had to point out to them that the lights weren't on for the airmaster, so they had tried to leave it unfinished. Soon after this, we noticed that the water was coming out as pure salt first thing in the morning. Turns out, they had installed the drainage pipe wrong, so it wasn't being cleaned out properly. They came back again to fix it and also found out that the cleanstart had not been working the entire time. So basically, we had been paying a substantial amount for equipment that never worked. Every time they came to our home, they broke something or did something wrong. I just looked inside the tank this morning and it is FULL of dirty water and no salt. This is their 'finished' job. I'll post a picture if I'm able. This has been nothing but a hassle, and I sincerely wish we never got involved. Hopefully I can save others from making this same mistake, because the stress of this has been detrimental to our family. Please be careful. -HC P.S. Waiting on MIKE's rude response. "we tried multiple times to contact you" YES, yes you did. We begged for someone NOT affiliated with YOU to come fix it, because you have NO COMPETENT people. THEY BROKE EVERYTHING THEY TOUCHED, so OF COURSE we don't want to let them back into our home. If you couldn't get a FLORIDA rainsoft company to come, then you could have at least let us call a REAL plumber or electrician and covered the charges. You just didn't want them to tell us how bad you messed up. UPDATE: They blew up my phone after this was posted to tell me to let them come get all their stuff and give us a refund. They gave us the red carpet treatment when they wanted to sell us something, but when it came to the after-care, they were impossible to get up with, and absolutely refused to call us back. That is not how you treat your customers. They didn't tell us about all the costs of maintenance, even after we specifically asked for all the details. However, there are quite a bit. -Brine flush -Salt -Filters -Possible other costs (I haven't found them yet) They didn't caution us that the softener would kill our grass. It does. It's salt.. They did tell us that we could hook it into our sprinklers because it would keep the chlorine off our lawn and flowers. HOWEVER, when the techs got here to install it, they said they didn't want to hook it to the sprinklers because it would cause "problems", like pressure issues. Not that it would kill our grass. Because it does. It's salt... I literally cannot water my house plants without buying bottled water... Needless to say, I won't be referring them to anyone. Update: July 31 2019 - They ("management") were supposed to call me this morning, but I still haven't heard from them. Again, they do not care about your business. You can get a less expensive system from just about anywhere else for a fraction of the price. I should have done more research. read more

We had their representative come to our home to show us their products. It sounded great because my parents had a purification system on their home. Sge comes in, gives us all the information and a little show on how it all operates. The first thing I told her was I don't think I will qualify because I filed chapter 13. She responds with, "oh, that won't matter." So, I agreed and signed the papers and she said they would come out at 9am the next day to install the system. So, here is where the problems start. We wait and wait for these people to show up. Finally, at 10:30 we call them. That's when they decide to tell is that the appointment had been cancelled. No one called us to let us know. And they didn't intend to. Then they tell us that they called us the previous day at 4pm and talked to us, telling us we weren't accepted DUE TO MY CHAPTER 13. We had not received or missed any calls on either of our phones. Finally, I decided to leave a review on the better business bureau website about their horrendous customer service. I typed it up and sent it. Later in the day, I received a response from the bbb saying that rainsoft claims that they had never done business with me and therefore my review was removed. Horrible customer service and sketchy. Good luck if you decide to deal with this company. read more

I purchased the whole shebang in 2015 including the soft water system, reverse osmosis and the thing for the washing machine. Rebecca came out to explain the system and then Mike installed it. I had a complicated request of connecting the reverse osmosis system to my refrigerator, but it was completed without a problem. I also did not want a drain in my yard and Mike made it so the drain would be located in my washer drain. Additionally, I requested an additional faucet for the garage to wash my cars with soft water. Everything was done exactly as I wanted it. It is now 2021 and my system continues to work flawlessly. I have recommended the system to several friends and they love their system as well. The best part is after a few years, I referred so many people that I earned back every penny that I initially spent. In my opinion, there is no better system for your water and no better program to earn back the money invested. Oh, one more thing, when I sold my house, Mike came back and uninstalled my system and packed it up for hassle free shipping to the new house. The system is worth the value! read more
