Facility is closed for repairs too often. Normal, IL location recently stopped using top brushes to clean our Honda Odyssey with factory installed rack even though we have run it through that facility for almost 5 years without any problem. My complaints have been without success. read more

This place is run down and busted. The soap is never totally rinsed off. The employees are hanging out in the office. Dirty. Trash everywhere. It just needs attention. Not worth the money. We detail our truck every weekend. And we run through the wash once or twice a week to get the salt from the roads off. Sometimes it's not even open when it's suppose to be. Disappointed bc there's 2 on my way home from work and they're both garbage. We went back to our other car wash. And it's 10 min further from my home. read more

I filed a claim with a employee that was extremely rude and said that the car was is not capable of doing damage. Filed a report, and after several failed calls, finally for a call back. Absolutely the worst experience here. This car wash damaged the paint across my entire car. I reported damage immediately before leaving. Employee took photos and said damage was inconsistent with rocks from road and took photos. (I just bought this car in pristine condition!) Employees and management led me to believe it would be taken care of. If you risk going here, be sure you know (and can prove) the exact condition of your car before entering. Definitely invest in the $19.99 fast-pass, which allows you to wash your car every day, which is a steal considering one wash of that level costs $10 regularly. It pays for itself after two visits. It is also very convenient to be able to zip through the gates without having to roll down your window. You can be in and out in about 3 minutes on a slow day. Compared to the other rainstorm locations in town, this location lacks some amenities such air hoses, carpet mat cleaners, and multiple vacuum attachments. Rainstorm in Bloomington offers a lot for your money. You can spend 8-25 dollars on a car wash--your choice. There are carports where they offer vacuums, towels, bug cleaner, window cleaner, and multipurpose cleaner for free. If you don't like your wash, talk to an attendant and you can go through again. The staff at the one on Main St. in Bloomington is really nice. It is a great car wash with lots to offer. read more

It is so easy and affordable. The 20 dollar monthly membership is so amazing. It gives you priority in line and you can go once a day for the low rate. The customer service and attendants are perfect. It was so easy to get a new sticker for my membership when I got a new car. Also the vacuums are free after the car wash!!! read more

I went here because my car had a bird poop emergency. Seriously, a flock of birds must have decided it was a really cool idea to poop on my car because it was really drenched. I was embarrassed to drive my car around without getting a wash so I ended up going to Rainstorm Car Wash. There are difference levels of wash for you to choose from, with the cheapest at $6 to the most expensive around $20 (I believe). The $10 wash suited me just fine, and by the time I was done with my wash, 90% of the bird poop was gone. I found that impressive considering my previous wash at a different car wash a month or so ago had trouble getting the few stains I had. What I liked about this place was that there was someone there to actually spray my car down with a hose, and, outside the car wash, there are stations to vacuum the car's inside. I'm glad I went here for my car wash, and while I wouldn't usually spend this much money on a car wash, it definitely did its job. I would come here again. read more
