3/22 re: Treatment moving forward (as referred by Dr. Bayer, HER plan per handwritten note) I wanted to touch base with you now that I have had a chance to converse with Dr. Duval regarding treatment of your lower left, specifically tooth #19.  He is recommending you treat this tooth with endodontic therapy to clear up the infection.  I agree with his diagnosis and feel that at your scheduled appointment on the 29th, I am comfortable moving forward with a crown on #18, with nothing further on #19 until that treatment with Dr. Duval is completed. Dr. Bayer lied to me about McClammy being retired (originally referred BY Raintree Dental), in order to get me in front of a man "she had worked with for some time". A man who would lie to your face to take your teeth, Dr. Ryan Duval. (a 'consult' walked-out on) THE TOOTH WAS NEVER INFECTED; IT ONLY REQUIRED A FILLING. (Nor did #18 need a crown.) Dr. Bayer came to my rescue, and I can't recommend her enough! The moral of the story is do yourself a favor and go to her from the start. If you want the actual story, keep reading :) A dentist at a different practice had done some improper work on me and then their office was closed for a week following my appt. Since I couldn't get a response from them, Dr. Bayer squeezed me in on her lunch, on NYE! She went above and beyond to fix what they had done to hold me over. She was skilled and extremely thorough. She took the time to show me photos and explain everything so I could fully understand what was going on in my mouth. Needless to say, I will be going to Dr. Bayer moving forward. I hesitated to write a negative review because I understand how impactful reviews can be to a business. I want to start by saying that I have had very positive experiences with the dental hygienists and front office staff. I've been coming to this office for about a year, and my initial visit with Dr. Bishop was great--he came across as knowledgeable, kind, and personable. However, during my last two visits, I was seen by Dr. Bayer, and both encounters left me feeling uncomfortable. I am a medical professional, so I place a high value on bedside manner, especially when it comes to patient comfort and trust. In both visits, Dr. Bayer did not introduce herself or make any effort at a greeting before beginning her exam. Something as simple as a brief introduction would have made the experience feel more respectful and professional. At my most recent appointment, I was told that I needed to have three fillings replaced because they had "a timeline on them." When I asked if we could wait and reevaluate in six months, I was told no, with the explanation that because I'm young, my teeth could "change more" than if I were older. I have had no pain or issues with these teeth, and the explanation didn't sit well with me, so I sought a second opinion at Scottsdale Family Dental. Their provider reviewed new X-rays and stated there was no indication for replacing the fillings at this time. Based on this, I did not feel that Dr. Bayer was acting in my best interest, and I hope she considers improving her communication and bedside manner going forward. I am not writing this review to discourage people from coming here, but to encourage patients to advocate for themselves and ask questions--especially when seeing Dr. Bayer. I truly enjoyed my interactions with the other staff members, but unfortunately, a single negative experience with a provider can lead a patient to seek care elsewhere. read more

Great staff and I enjoyed going there for 8 years. I had to reschedule several appointments and paid the agreed-upon cancellation fees. Nonetheless they kicked me out of the practice. So they took my money and still booted me. Business must be good over there. If you want a practice that is committed to serving the needs of its patients I would go elsewhere. read more

I have been going to Raintree Dental for at least 3 years. I have had several procedures done there by various staff members. I cannot begin to tell you how pain free and fabulous this place is! The entire staff is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They use state of the art technology in every regard. I recently had a filling replaced, and it was totally pain free and took 10 minutes! I also had all 4 quadrants deep scaled cleaning (below the gum line). The procedure with my previous dentist always required painful numbing injections, that I dreaded. Raintree did it using nothing but topical numbing cream! I had zero pain from start to finish!! I have been going here since 2019 and have always had a great experience from the staff in the front to my Dental Hygienist, Katy. I love knowing what is going on with my teeth and Katy is great at explaining what I can do for continued health. I now go to Dr. Bishop, and I love his approach. In fact, there has been this issue that has bothered me for years, and several people have looked at it and could not tell me what it was. Dr. Bishop looked in my mouth and offered a simple explanation, and it is something I can easily manage. They are really great here. If you are looking, you should give them a try. read more

Ok, so I love my dentist. Dr Koerperick is the best! I found him through my insurance company when I needed some work done after I moved out here. He's got a great staff, and is always available to his clients. For starters, his office is nice, clean, modern and relaxing. His receptionist girl is so sweet and nice, and remembers my name every time I'm there. His dental assistant is a lovely latino lady who I believe speaks spanish, for those who may need it. Dr K is a young guy with a good chairside manner. I always feel really comfortable here. He also has a movie list if you would like to watch, and he has a pretty modern selection. His equipment is pretty awesome, and its all modern and up to date! When he takes your Xray, it comes up on the TV screen and he goes through it with you! I really like this guy, and continue to see him for all my dental work. read more

I visited Raintree Dental for the first time this last December. To say my mouth needed some help was a massive understatement. I went for an initial visit and saw Dr. Bayer. She is so wonderful!! I was beyond stressed and anxious and she really was able to make me feel at ease. We came up with a game plan and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the results!! A few of the many pros of Raintree Dental: 1) I don't think I've waited more than 2 mins, if that, in the waiting room. I schedule my appts during my lunch so being on time is a must and they have never once failed! 2)Movies!! My first procedure I watched the first half of fast and furious. My second procedure they put it on where I left off in the movie!!! Wasn't expecting it but it was a little gesture that really made me feel special. 3) Not pushy. I had/have a laundry list of things needing to be done. Instead of overwhelming me with scare tactics on "we need to do this now" or judging the fact that sometimes that isn't financially realistic, we were able to come up with a plan and prioritize! 4)From the front desk staff to the techs to dentists everyone is friendly and positive and just makes you feel like you're in good hands. Can honestly say every time I leave (even if I am numb as can be) I leave with a smile. Good people and great work! Love them!! read more

New patient excited about trying a new dentist closer to home. They gave me an estimate for $4593 of dental work with some 3rd party dental membership (I dont have dental ins.) $8145 without the 3rd party dental membership, and referred me out to an endodontic for 2, possibly 3 root canals. I got a second opinion from another dentist and my problem was resolved for $950 and no root canals were necessary. I will not be going back to this dentistry ever again. read more

Went to see Dr. Bayer for a bad tooth. I thought it was a much worse problem but she explained what was going on (she even used pictures) she fixed the tooth and I am so pleased! I felt like this was an honest and very professional experience. She also did a great job doing the work on my mouth not painful. I have moved a lot around the US and I have been to several different dentists. I can say that she is the best dentist I have ever been to. I also had a good experience with the front desk they reviewed my dental insurance and helped me make a plan that would stay within the limits of my insurance for the year. From the minute I walked in nearly two years ago, I felt at home. I'm not a dental-phobe, and have had extensive work done. Gina, the hygienist, is a hoot and does a great job on my teeth. Dr K has done one crown and Dr. Bayer has done two. I have extensive work from years ago, and both commented on how good my prior dentist (out of state) must have been. I've never felt pressured into products or services. They're kind and I trust them. The folks at the front desk are great, too. They under-estimated what my policy would pay, and the next time I was there, I got a check for $113. Hooray for honesty! I love Raintree Dental and always feel welcome. They provided me with an estimate of a work needed. All my dental plan would cover plus $3000. Got a second opinion. Surprise! No work needed. This place is like a dental chop shop. They make money scamming folks. Never have work done here without a second opinion. I'd bet there are hundreds of healthy teeth that have been worked on here. Hey I'd like a Ferrari myself, but I won't hurt someone or claim your health is in jeopardy when it's not just so I can take some persons money. Stay away from here. read more

I was well over due for dental work and am really glad I chose Dr. K and his team for all of the work I had put off for years. I started out very nervous and by the end of the second visit I felt very comfortable. They take the time to explain everything and are very detail oriented in their work. I like having a perfectionist streak in a dentist and you can tell that Dr. K really likes teeth. He is also very personable and all around a great guy. The office is very transparent about pricing and helpful with insurance. I ended up using all of mine before my work was done and found the cash pricing to be affordable. read more

Excellent place!! Been a patient here for 5 years. My fiancé, father and sister also come here because of me and they love it (which is hard to say because no one loves the dentist!) The staff are all so warm and welcoming. Dr Korrperick is gentle, smart and not a sales driven dentist. He makes a plan for you if you need work done but can't afford it right away. I had 5 fillings that were 20 years old and half gone. New cavities started under the old fillings but 5 fillings is a lot for one time. He made me 3 different appointments based on what was more important. His hygienist is insanely thorough. She won't miss a spot in your mouth which is great! Plus, who cares! I catch up on movies I haven't seen while getting my work done! excellent place! I was never asked to buy a toothbrush like the other review said, neither was any one in my family. read more

I HATE the dentist! Let's let that be known. However I needed to go and I'm sooo happy I did. This place is awesome! The people upfront (Mary, Michael and Lindsey) are the sweetest and you instantly feel like you've known them for years. The dental assistants are the same way. I see Dr. Musslemen, he is a really good dentist and doesn't make you feel stupid if you have a cavity. The hygienist that cleans my teeth is Muneeza, what a wonderful lady. She is super gentle, thorough and you can tell she really loves her job. Overall, I get massive anxiety when I go to the dentist but, the whole office is calming, they're good at what they do and care about their patients. It's like a big family. read more

Entire office staff knows you by your first name and Dr. Koeperick can usually see you immediately if you have emergency dental needs. It's conveniently located from my house and the office is very nice and welcoming. They work with your insurance and good at communicating with the patient. I have been to this Dental office in the past and was always pleased with the treatment received. Today as usual my visit there was a totally great experience starting from the minute I walked in the door. I was greeted at once and no more than sat down when I was called up and escorted to a treatment room. Now comes the really good part. I am always a little apprehensive when having dental work but today was different. The dentist and her assistant were so professional I knew this was going to be a good day. I have some limited dental insurance and they even took care of making arrangements for the coverage I was eligible for. I will continue to highly recommend this office to friends. read more

My only concern about Raintree Dental is that they seem to work the insurance billing system. They charge A LOT for a simple cleaning (my recent statement had almost $600 of charges for a semiannual cleaning. This is about 1/2 of my yearly dental benefits. So if I have anything else that I need to have done, I will be completely out of benefits. I am used to going to a dentist and having my cleanings 100% covered - here you pay extra for certain things they say you always need (ultrasonic cleaning or something, flouride toothpaste). Anyway, it does seem like they kind of work the insurance benefits that are available. read more

The staff and dentists at Raintree Dental are awesome and professional! The equipment is state of the art and the thorough consultation aligned a great plan to improve my dental health. I am glad to have been referred to this office. I had a terrible experience from my prior dentist and was referred by my childrens' dentist to come here when I was looking for another provider. My requirement is to feel comfortable with my provider and gain a positive patient experience, (which my prior dentist's office claimed but failed to accomplish.) Right from the start with the first call I felt comfortable and was greated very respectfully. The clinical staff is right on! I feel the need to update this review so I don't mislead anyone who goes to yelp for recommendations. We have switched dentists. We like both the doctors very much but the hygienists are not good front line advocates for this practice. As many people have mentioned already, you feel like you are on a used car sales lot. I go to a board certified periodontist who cleans my teeth himself and charges $280. One of my last cleanings at Raintree (no X-rays) was roughly $800 because the hygienist had to do a "special cleaning". They pulled the same thing on my husband. I openly told one of the dentists that I was looking for another place to go because I felt the hygienist talked more than she cleaned - she told me her friend who had just had her teeth cleaned just told her the exact same thing....yet they make no changes? So, we have moved on very happily. read more
