I have been seeing Dr. Brad and his hygienist Lilly for a year and a half now. My experiences at this office have been seamless. This office came highly recommended to me and has exceeded my expectations. If I'm recalling correctly, I have had a total of three cleanings and one filling here, all with Dr. Brad as my dentist. Scheduling is very easy and they follow through when you ask to be placed on a waitlist to get an earlier appointment, which I feel is rare within healthcare. I have anxiety about going to the dentist due to previous bad experiences at different offices and coming here has quelled my anxiety quite a bit. Dr. Brad and his team explain everything before, during, and after doing it and have been very sensitive to my anxiety. I cannot recommend this office enough. Having had 4 teeth removed which has caused roughly 2+ years of pain, I received a follow up text from Dr. Herro regarding how I was feeling, I feel it important to share the reply: She is truly a gift to those she cares for. "Omg... I could cry. There's virtually zero pain considered what has been. My lower jaw is sore, but it's most certainly not painful. There's no swelling really, bleeding has stopped. Most certainly no bruising as of yet. Swelling in the upper left gum feels less than what was static (so grateful). All in all - we're moving. Cycling Tylenol/Ibuprofen and that's managing just fine. I've been going to Sonoran for about 7 to 8 years now. It was a place I loved and trusted to do my dental work and provide me with honest solutions should I need some. Since new ownership, i have been twice. My family all stopped going because they said they felt that sales were being prioritized over honesty. I decided to give the Dentistry the benefit of the doubt but today, when I presented the issue of sensitivity in a certain place, the solution was to have an ortho consult to discuss properly aligning my teeth and that it MAY solve my issue. In all my years of teeth examinations and cleanings, I have never been recommended to consider teeth alignment. At this point, I knew they were trying to sell it since this was also recommended to my other family members who used to come here. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore unless you're looking for a sales team instead of honest dentists. read more

I'd stay away. They only care about maintaining their clinic policies. They do not care about health. They will refuse services if your mouth "has problems" and they will make you go in circles and will not give any assurances for appointments. Unless you have money up front to pay for entire services they will not work with you on a personal level. Business need money to run, that everyone understands, but when comes down to oral health they do not care unless you pay upfront and only while you're in the building. I'll start with the positives; the location is easy to find, and the office is very nice. However, the negatives far outweigh the good. A couple of years ago, I was told I needed to have two silver fillings replaced with composite fillings even though I was having no pain. I went head and did the procedure and ended up being unable to chew on the side of my mouth where the fillings were replaced for 9 months. I went back twice to have my bite looked at and it didn't help. I found this experience concerning but still went back. The next time I went for a cleaning, I was given a laundry list of procedures I needed including a crown and onlay. I was really surprised because I had no pain or issues. I decided at that point I was going to go to a different dentist and see if they mention anything. Well, it turns out...my teeth are in great shape and nothing besides additional flossing is recommended. This practice is unethical and money hungry. I was recommended here after my boyfriend had been a client of theirs for awhile. He spoke highly of them and from my own experience, I can tout those same accolades to the team. Setting appointments are easy because they offer online and texting for convenience. While they are a busy and popular office, I am able to usually book an appointment at the end of my visit. Additionally, they offer a wait list if you want to move up due to patient cancellations. I had dental maintenance and had to replace a crown that fell out during Covid. Dr. Brad is thorough and walks you through the process so you understand and feel at ease. He perfected the art of making your own crown mold there. His patience and kindness is a reflection of the repeat customers that frequent this office. They all build relationships with you during the visit so it doesn't feel cold or detached. Even maxing out my dental insurance, I found them to be reasonable for their services and have no complaints given the quality care I received here. All of the hygienists are always very gentle and I have had a great experience with every person I have worked with at this office. Dr. G is awesome and recommended a lesser expensive, but sufficient option on more than one occasion which tells me that they are interested in what is best for me and not necessarily what will be more profitable. I had to get several old amalgam fillings drilled out and replaced and at least one partial crown. After several years without visiting a dentist, they got me all straightened out and I'm back to a routine cleaning schedule. I saw Jennifer on my first visit for a six month cleaning and she was great! Next Dr. Zubairi for a consult on my grinding at night ( which my old dentist, had no solution for, or maybe didn't want to offer one). But Dr Z, fixed the problem teeth that I damaged by clenching and grinding and Eric scanned my mouth for a night guard. I reached out to Sonoran Desert Dentistry because I had pain in my mouth. They were able to see me in a timely manner at which time they took X-rays and informed me that they would be extracting the upper right molar at that visit. I scheduled a follow up visit to work out a dental plan for my existing problems and cleaning. I called back because I was experiencing pain in the lower part of my mouth. They agreed to see me the next day. They did a dental exam and determined that I had cavities and we touched on the possibility of extracting some teeth and possibly having a partial put in. They would call me with a dental plan, an appointment with their hygienist and sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics. The hygienist canceled. I called back and told them I had pain. The receptionist told me I can schedule an exam. 2 and 1/2 months later I am still in pain and have moved on to a different dental practice. read more

Then the dentist came in to check out my teeth and she did. She told me I had two cavities on Two different teeth. The dental hygienist looked confused because she didn't see them, but she's not the dentist so‍ I was like whatever. I went to talk to the office ladies to discuss pricing. Fortunately my insurance didn't cover the expenses, even though they said that they did before I even went in for my appointment through email, I gave them all the info they needed. They were going to charge me $300 and $240 for my cavities. Now, I'm a 19 y/o young adult with bills to pay. I told the office lady exactly that and that I was going to have to save my cash before getting this done (not knowing much about insurance and such) So I took my business elsewhere. Today I just had my appointment to get these said "cavities" filled, I went to Dr. Bradley Britain because they had good reviews and I knew for a fact that they took my insurance. I got more x - rays done and both the dental hygienist and Dr. Bradley looked at my teeth and guess what I was told? I HAD NO CAVITIES None. They were going to charge me $540 to get non existent cavities filled. I assumed this office was going to be really good and still did up until today, the reviews are great the people are friendly and it's in Scottsdale so? I didn't think anything of it. I am really disappointed with my recent treatment at this office. I have been a patient since last Summer, and overall was happy with my experience with the dentist, hygienist, and office staff. Unfortunately today left an extremely bad taste in my mouth, and it is unlikely I will return. I had an appointment scheduled for this coming Tuesday in the afternoon. Today is the Friday before. I had been out of town for work and accidentally left my personal phone at home the two days I was gone - I still had my work phone so I didn't think it was a big deal. Apparently I was wrong. I had received a few reminder texts from the dentist that I did not receive until today when I returned back in town. After collecting my phone, I had just enough time to make it to a business meeting. During my meeting I received FOUR calls in succession from this dentists office. Really?!? I had to silence my phone repeatedly and could not understand why the caller could not just leave a message. After the fourth call (which my clients thought was an emergency and asked me if I had to take it) I shut off my phone. When my meeting was over, I listened to the voice message that was left on the fourth call to learn from Sergio that because I had not responded thus far my appointment was canceled because clearly it was not a convenient time for me. These were his exact words - I kept the voice message. This all occurred more than 48 hours before my appointment. When I called into the office, I spoke with Sergio who seem to have a challenging time taking my name, the reason why I was calling, and the date and time of my appointment. I had to repeat myself several times, only to be reminded that my appointment was cancelled. To add insult to injury he did not even ask me if I wanted to reschedule at this time. When I told him how unprofessional it was to call a patient that many times in a row - he told me he would make a note in my chart that I preferred not to be called. I have never ever been a patient at an office that treated me this way - and cancelled my appointment for lack of confirmation more than 48 hours out. If this is how this office does business, and a reflection of their new office team, I have no desire to be a patient moving forward. read more

PLEASE READ THIS!!! They called my insurance company, and in front of me, told me I was insured for the crown I needed due to a chipped tooth. A week later they billed me $2000 after leaving approx $500 for the x-rays that they said needed to be cash. When I called back after the 4th time referring me to their billing department, they told me that I was not covered and I missed the waiting period, (which I did not and they confirmed in front of me that I was.) I called my insurance company and they told me that it was never submitted!! When I called them back they said they would re-submit but I had to at least pay half and ask my insurance for a reimbursement. SCAM!!! Never got my money back and they never collected from my insurance who told me they WERE TOLD ON THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALLED THAT THE WAITING PERIOD WAS A COUPLE OF DAYS AWAY!!!! They knew it and figured they would embarrass me into paying. I gave them half and said I would call my insurance company to submit to them but almost immediately they sent me to collections and sent me a letter saying they are dropping me as a patient! The balls on them. They are money hungry, and twice the price of anyone else. Imagine the balls on them to "Punish" me for not allowing them to take FULL ADVANTAGE of me!!! I have a friend that they diagnosed with two cavities, wanted to perform the emergency treatment, and when he questioned them they told him to leave. It gets better...he went to his previous dentist and x-rays PROVED he had NO Cavities!!! Scammers. Now I have a collection on my credit which I am fighting to have removed. Stay away unless you don't mind the abuse. They really believe they are better than you and have no mercy if you don't agree with their antics. I've been coming here for maybe two years now and to be honest I loved the entire experience. The staff is nice and welcoming. However, getting an appointment time sooner than later is close to impossible. The access time is terrible. I scheduled my clean up for every 6 months and I haven't been seen in around 8 months because rescheduling is a nightmare since they're booked months out. After talking on the phone with the receptionist and not being able to find a time that worked with my work schedule I went online I found a time in the work week that I could manage, which meant I had to take time off of work to come in. I come in and turns out I'm not on the schedule for the day and they deleted my appt time because I didn't call or respond to a text confirming if I was going to attend before the appointment. I looked for the text and I received one text message two days before my appt and there is no message anywhere stating that the appointment will be cancelled if there wasn't a reply. Despite the fact that I genuinely like the dentist. My next visit which was scheduled for the following week (more work time I have to take off) I will be looking elsewhere. Better expectations need to be set. If not responding to a text message for whatever reason means your appointment that you book months ago will be cancelled it should be clearly stated in these text messages. read more

I've been going to this dentistry for several years now. Even after moving away from their location, I continued to go despite the lesser convenience. The people there are nice, though for regular check ups, the doctors spend very little time with their patients. It's really the hygienists that do all the work. They know what they're doing, so for regular check ups I feel like I got good care. All that being said, I can't recommend this dentist anymore. The problem is their appointment confirmation policy. I did not read the full text that they sent me 3 days ago, and didn't realize that by not confirming my appointment by the end of day meant that they would cancel my appointment. I was ready to go too. Because they had previously waived a no show before, they said I now had to pay them a $75 cancellation fee. I didn't cancel, they did. I can understand a "no show" fee, but it's hard to see how failing to confirm an appointment hurts their business. This type of vindictive policy is designed by people that care more about grabbing as much money as they can and less about the people they are actually serving. I'm not saying that this policy was or should have been a surprise to me. It was hinted at the bottom of the text message I failed to ready entirely and I'm sure it's buried in the fine print of their policy. However, it's still garbage, and such, I will no longer support this business. I would encourage any readers to look elsewhere. read more

Whatever you do, do not go to this office. Completely horrible practices and zero patient empathy or understanding. They will completely and totally mislead you about what you're paying for (don't worry the details are in the fine print!!!). You will be billed over a year after a service is complete and you thought it had all been paid for both out of pocket and by insurance, they will encourage you to advocate for yourself with your insurance provider, then the SECOND you are past due as you work with your provider they will send you a letter saying they're ending your relationship as a patient and turning you over to collections. Despite the fact that I have spent thousands of dollars previously and always paid for everything else asap that did not stop them. I've been struggling with this practice for so long and truly hate writing a bad review (this is the first time I have ever left a negative review) but I have never been treated so poorly by a practice. This used to be a great office. It's really declined the past few years. Think of it more like a transactional service and not a family dentistry. They're so protective of their providers time but they do it at the expense of the client experience. They also push nightguards on everyone super hard. So I caved. Today, I went in to get them "fit" and I could barely get them off my teeth. The assistant was concerned - went to get the dentists opinion and came back and said "sorry you just have to power through the pain". I have been going to this dental office for about 5 years, since moving to the area. Anna is my hygienist and she is so gentle yet thorough and very pleasant. My entire family, who lives out of state, comes to Scottsdale to have Anna clean their teeth. Before Dr. Bazargan arrived, I had seen Dr. Parsanko until he retired. The office is friendly and welcoming. They follow up after procedures. Their check-in/out process is seamless. I recently decided to have Invisalign done. Dr. Bazargan and her staff, especially Daniella, were top notch. My teeth are perfect. It was the best decision I have ever made. For the first time, I can actually bite down comfortably. I'm no longer embarrassed of my smile. I found Dr. Bazargan to be a perfectionist. I felt very comfortable having her do my treatment for Invisalign. I would recommend this office and Dr Bazargan for treatment as their dentist or Invisalign specialist without hesitation. read more

My daughter and I still go here and we do like it and feel they have been safe during COVID and are super clean. The only frustration as of the last appointments has been with staffing and making appointments. I have never seen the same dentist more than once and feel it's someone new each time and starting over- we have seen 5 over the last few years. For scheduling it's hit or miss with calling, either difficult to hear with echo or dropped calls and have to call back and start over or hope they call you back. I called this practice on a Thurs afternoon needing to get in the next day for a loose crown. Unlike many other dentists in the area (including mine) they were actually open on Friday. They fit me the next morning. Serenity worked late to make sure my paperwork was all in order. I was needing to get in and out to be able to make a meeting, and Dr. Herro was fantastic! Everyone I encountered was very pleasant and accommodating. Superb experience from start to finish. The front office staff was courteous. The waiting room was very nice. My hygienist, Angelee, was excellent. Very thorough in explaining everything that was going on. My cleaning was well done. Dr. Zubarhi (not sure on spelling) was very friendly. I had questions regarding cosmetic improvements to my teeth and I felt the Dr's answer was well informed and logical. My wife's appointment was following mine and I informed Angelee that she was nervous at dental appointments. She was mindful of my comments and put my wife at ease and provided her with a comfortable experience. This dentists' office has you fill out paperwork on IPads when you arrive. Great for the planet (saving paper) but bad if you don't want to give them your email - the electronic form makes you provide an email address and won't let you proceed to other documents unless you do. The chairs in the lobby are deceptive, they look poofy but once you put weight on them they slump in and it feels a bit like sitting in a hole. It took a while for me to be seen from xray to cleaning, to the point that I got up, laid the chair back and began to nap. This place really likes to text you. They recommend something, they'll text it to you. They want to reschedule you, they'll text you. What's more strange is that it is not automated, there really is a person checking texts when you text them back. The office lead needs to not lecture employees while there are clients standing at the counter waiting to be tended to. read more

I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. They are the best! I have been a patient for many years. I recently developed a toothache on a Thursday morning. Hoping it would pass I went about my day. By the late afternoon the the toothache got much worse. I called the office at 4:40pm and explained my situation. I was hoping to get in on Friday before the weekend (fingers crossed). They did waaaayyyyy better and got me an appointment for 5:20pm that day. By 6:15pm my tooth was fixed and I had no more pain. First of all, they cancelled my appointment without any warning. I took the day afternoon off for my appointment and when i arrived, they gave it to someone else. Then, I received an invoice in the mail with no justification for what it is for. Several times I requested an itemized invoice so that I could pay it, and I was routinely ignored. Then they sent it to collections, where I again requested an itemized invoice. Now they have reported me to the credit agencies, but I have yet to see what I owe them money for. Highly recommend this dental office. When I first came to Sonoran Desert Dentistry my smile was in bad shape. I had not seen a dentist in many years and had shamelessly neglected my teeth. I needed everything from a root canal, crown, fillings, Invisalign, cosmetic work... you name it, I needed it. I was always so self-conscious of my smile and was overwhelmed at the thought of starting a treatment plan with just any dentist. This all changed when I came in for a consultation and met Dr. Zubairi. From the moment I met her, I knew she would be the dentist that would fix my teeth and give me the smile I always longed for.
