I used to come here but stopped because I suspected I wasn't getting the proper amount for what I was bringing in, and they were frequently downright rude. Rip off customers + bad attitude = no more business from me. There are better places in the area to turn in cans and bottles. read more

Scam Company (TLDR at bottom): - I saved up 5-6 bags with at the very least 500 to around 600 water bottles, as well as at least around 100 soda cans (all crushed up). - They didn't even take the time to count or weigh what I gave them, and almost immediately after handing them my recycling, they slap a dirty $5 bill on the counter. - Now, I don't expect much cash for recycling, but I didn't expect to get scammed either, especially after 4-6 months of recycling, thinking I'm doing good for the world, you know? - I asked "Why is it only $5? Did you count or weigh them? Can I get a receipt?" They answered with some B.S. about only properly counting "50-count" bags, so I guess otherwise they highly underestimate your recycling's real worth. I explained to them that those 5 bags of water bottles (crushed up) have at least 100 in each of them as I did remember counting one bag to estimate its size. They didn't care, and spent 5 minutes writing a dirty and oily receipt that contained no real information about the recycling. - Even by their estimate of "50-count bags," I should have at least gotten around $15 through the 6 bags of crushed up water bottles and cans. However, I really should have gotten $30+. I'm really not sure how they have been able to get away with this for so long. I mean, $5... Really? Another gripe: - Is that I arrived 30 minutes early from closing, and right when I shut off my vehicle, they told me to pull in because they were going to close the gate. - They essentially made me restart my car to drive in through and over a bunch of shattered glass everywhere, then I couldnt immediately find the other exit, so I drove around their other huge lot then went back around to ask where it is (they didn't even close yet, so not sure why they made me repark my car and do all this driving). It was a conspicuously closed but automatic black gate in the corner hidden from all the large semi trucks and buildings. - From the drive home to here, making me turn on my vehicle again, driving around the lot, and going back home, I think I broke even with the $5 they gave me. Conclusion: I will never return to this scam of a company, and I don't recommend anyone else coming here. There are more recycling businesses around this area, who I am sure won't scam you of your hard-earned and deserved recycling money. *****TLDR (Too Long Didn't Read)*****: they only gave me $5 USD for 500+ water bottles and 100+ cans (less than 1 cent per bottle/can). Then when I asked for the weight or count, they said only count "50-count" bags and that I was out of luck. Even if they underestimated each of the 6 bags to 50 each, that should have been $15. By my count, I should've gotten $30+. They only paid me for 100 bottles/cans while I had 600+. So scummy and I hope these guys enjoy the $25+ they managed to steal from me because I will never ever return to this establishment. edit: there's *only one good review* and I'm certain it's the owner of the shop. Ironic how he says the workers will "break it down for you" if you have questions about the weight or count of the bottles/cans, yet he, the owner himself, couldn't even do this for me. We came here and I'm pretty sure they didn't give us the right amount. They didn't tell us how much our stuff weighed nor could we see. We only ended up with $40 but I had more than the last time when I took it to another recycling location and got $67. I don't recommend this place. Something shady going on here. read more

I show up at 4:15 and it says they close at 5 online. there is 2 signs on the gate one saying it closes at 4:45 on saturdays and the other one that looks like it was written by a 9 year old saying they close at 9. don't waste your time by going here !! read more

Do not come here whatever you do!! There are lots of drug addicts that hang out here and it is almost scary sometimes... I have been coming to this recycle place oh roughly about 6 years or so. I went in this afternoon to get my recycle done and there were large pieces of glass in the area I was going to park so I got out with my whisk broom to remove the large pieces of glass debris. One of the workers looked at me like I was insane and I just said oh I've had about three Flats on several occasions here.. I didn't mention that I've been coming here nearly 7 years and I guess the owner heard me and while I was bent over sweeping the large glass pieces away he walked over to me and said.. very rudely if I might say he said well how about this.. if it took you three times to get a flat to figure out this is where you got it then why do you keep coming here?.. it was rude and unprofessional and the only reason I continue to go there is because he's less than four blocks from my house and the closest recycle but that no longer matters to me because I will never visit this establishment again it is dirty unclean drug infested and he had the nerve to be rude on top of everything? Never going there again just a heads up be prepared to see lots and lots of glass in the gravel on the walkway all around the area you have to park and also very unsanitary bins to put your recycle in read more

The workers are real.they don't talk down to u.if you question them on how much you got .They will break it down for you They are open 7 days a week no other place is...it doesn't get any better then on the weekend when Laura comes to work. She is nice polite very friendly. But don't think for a second you'll get over on her she is pretty much tuffer then the guy s that work but she LL make you be feel like a old family friend or a family member.
