Before heading there I thought I'd say hello to the owner of the salon which was my friend. I found out that she no longer owns the salon and has moved on... Enter Lin! Although there was a little language barrier she was a great salesperson. She gave me her spiel and presented me sale promotions and even though I can't compare the prices for these type of services to other salons because I have never had this type of experience done on me before I finally agreed and gave me to Katie to do my nails. I picked a color and it was just a plain, no artwork type as I've seen other Yelp friends done theirs. Katie did a beautiful job though. Lin took off to the back room. Enter Lin again! She convinced me to treat myself to a foot massage since my birthday was coming up and to celebrate and pamper myself. -sigh- okay, I agreed and gave me to Tammy to get started. Ooh! My feet felt good. Normally, I avoided these things because I felt funny about other people touching my dogs. After a while Tammy finished with painting my toenails. Enter Lin again for the payment. Absolutely amazing. Rachael is not only sweet, kind, funny, and professional... she is a truly talented lash artist. After I saw Rachael for the first time, she asked me in detail what kind of lash style I was looking for. I had told her I definitely wanted hybrid but wasn't sure what other "style" would look good on me. She said she would make sure to choose a good style that would fit my eye shape. And she did just that! She did a "Baby Doll" Hybrid Style lash look on me and continues this style for every fill. My lashes are a bit sparse since I'm older and Asian, so I was a bit skeptical. Other salons start out at $100 plus and I wasn't about to fork over that much for my first time. Luckily, Groupon has a special for $79 and I jumped on it! I called and booked my appointment and she was able to fit me in almost immediately. Her studio is beautiful and serene. After signing the proper legal waivers, she brought me to her room. The whole process was supposed to take two hours but it took about an hour and a half. The results were quite dramatic and I was so pleased. I had people comment if I was wearing eye makeup and I wear mascara religiously, so it was flattering to hear! My extensions lasted almost two weeks. I really loved the results and I highly recommend Katrina. She's super sweet and although I was a bit nervous, she made me feel so comfortable. FYI, you don't need to go through Groupon, you can get the same price just booking with her! Sweet!
