Maybe it was because the place was packed and the drive-through line was super long due to there being a huge soccer conference going on down the street. Usually when it comes to chicken fingers I'm team Guthrie's. If you know you know. Even the founder of Raising Cane's worked there before opening R.C. The first Raising Cane's recently opened in the McDonough area and I had to try it. The drive thru was half a mile long when I arrived. It took 30 minutes between the wait time placing my order and receiving my food. I thought that was really impressive it could have been worse because the inside was full to capacity and it was a line outside waiting to get in. When I received my order it was correct and the tenders and fries were piping hot. The tenders were just okay in my opinion not as seasoned as I like them. I wouldn't ditch Raising Cane's all together,but I would return when the "newness" wears off. read more

So this review is on day 3 of just opening up this location. They have a constant line but they also are putting out the food just as fast as people are ordering. I got the Caniac Combo that I shared with my daughter, I also ordered the green lemonade and got both Cane's sauce as well as the honey mustard sauce. The chicken is simply made and tastes good and the Cane's sauce reminds me of a ketchup and mayo sauce with seasonings added, the honey mustard is a little bit watery and has more of a sweet taste than mustard. Now the Lemonade wasn't that good to me, it tasted watered down and needed a little more sugar. The overall place is inviting and has a nice feel and the decor is like a nice place to chill and eat. So I think that I will return in a few weeks to see if they have made any adjustments since there are always bumps when opening up a new franchise location. read more

I'll start with just wait until it's not overcrowded. Overall it was good and the staff was very friendly and actually walked around asking if anyone needed anything. It's really loud with music and just people milling around so be prepared. The dining around is a cluster tbh, people waiting inside for their food end up pushed against people sitting at the low top tables. I'm not sure how else you do it but could be improved. The staff did get people in and out with efficiency. Some of the other reviewers are right and the chicken itself doesn't have any flavor, once you dip it in the sauce it is tasty. I prefer Zaxbys tenders over these, but their bread is much better. I will try again and just get a second opinion and maybe seating will be easier to navigate. read more

This might be the worst Raising Cane's I have ever been to. I'm not crazy about Canes in the first place, and I don't review often, but I feel compelled to share. The over all VIBE of this location was awkward and unsettling. Like a killer's lair. Nobody, staff or customer, seemed to know what was going on. There were more workers than I've ever seen in a fast food place, yet no actual positive change in efficiency or service. The seating is awkward as all get out--enough said. And the Kid's meal ordered for my coworker, opened at the office, was a single piece of bread. This visit confirmed that I actually never need to visit a Raising Cane's again. What was I thinking coming on a Friday. I've been to raising canes before in Louisiana and Vegas it's basic nothing out the ordinary menu is simple and it gets you full. The line was allll the way down by hooters from line to window to food took about 47 minutes. Yes I waited like a crazy woman. A meal for 2 cost be $28 I got the first 2 meals and added extra sauce and tenders. Staff was friendly and learning the process. There was a line outside too. But overall tenders were juicy not overly salty fries were plain Jane no salt or seasoning and the bread was the best lol. Be prepared for it to be BUSY. It is overcrowded. Every table filled. People standing all over the place waiting for their food. Parking lot packed. Drive thru packed, going out of the lot... definitely a loud, overwhelming environment. We drove 1.5 hours just for canes for my sister who missed it (west coasters). The ice in the machine was down and that was a bummer because the guy at the register didn't give us ice.... when we were waiting, we saw them give other people ice so we went back up and waited for ice - gotta have a cold drink and they have the good ice. We ordered within 5 minutes of arriving and probably got our food 15 minutes later. The food was delicious as always! We always replace the nasty coleslaw with extra toast and ALWAYS get an extra sauces. They have 2 bathroom available and both were FILTHY. This location just opened and my boyfriend and I were excited as ever to try it out. We went around 10:45pm on 3/22/25 and both ordered the 3ct chicken strip meal. Around 4am that next morning I got incredibly sick and suffered from food poisoning and have been suffering the past 2 days. I know it is from this establishment because the food I had earlier in the day was cooked by me, at home. I didn't encounter any symptoms until I ate here. I will not be returning and have been traumatized as I have been back and forth to the restroom since eating this sh*t.
