I have been hearing rave reviews about Hamburger Mikes for years and just never made it over here or I would forget. The staff was very friendly when we entered and ordered. I tried the "Lil Sass"- 1/4lb burger on Texas toast with pepper jack cheese and fries. The burger seems to be hand pattied but I'm not 100% sure on that. The fries are the seasoned style and are really good as well. They have a topping station so you can dress up your burger however you like: pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños. It's a basic strip shopping center so it's nothing fancy but the prices are reasonable and you can usually find a coupon in the local ads. Normally when something is hyped up it doesn't turn out to be as good but Hamburger Mikes is as good as advertised! The only thing that I think would make it better is some burger sauce. read more

This was my very 1st visit to Hamburger Mike's but it felt familiar. The cashier was awesome. She was helpful and cheerful, patient and knew her job. When she wasn't taking orders she was helping fill them. Great employee. I sunk my teeth into a juicy smoked turkey burger. Most turkey burgers are dry but not this one and the fact that it was on thick Texas toast made it even better. If you're looking for burger Nirvana, this is it. I don't know what they do with their burgers, but don't fix was not broke. The burgers are juicy Hardy and you have options for the bun. I highly recommend the Texas toast they make it perfect. Also, their tater tots are pretty good. This place is Fuddruckers when Fuddruckers was awesome . You can see the meat in the cooler, nice and fresh when they open it they cook it in sight so you know it must be right as the former steak 'n Shake slogan used to be. I haven't been back here in many years. I am a vegetarian and the last time there were no options. That is not the case now! They have several vegan and vegetarian options... AND a designated area in the grill that is only for those and vegetables. The carnivores I brought with me enjoyed their food, too. Oh my ....i just left this place with my son! Where do I start. This has the home town family owned feel. Great fast customer service. Prices are just right and the food is made fresh to order! You can't ask for anything else. I got the 1/2 pound Hangry burger with cheese and crispy bacon. They cook the burger too your temperature you like and ask if you want crispy bacon. The family atmosphere is great and the customer service is over the top amazing. I was an instant fan of the cashier/hostess and her mother and their outgoing personalities. I drive by this place all the time, but the parking lot is so full that I never stop, because I didnt want to have to stand in a line or have to wait. So today no one was there and I decided to stop in. I ordered a hamburger with cheese, fries and a beverage, also I downloaded the app and received an order of fried mushrooms on the house. I went ahead and ordered my food to-go so I could sit down and eat it in peace at home, but my burger patty never made it to the house - LOL I pinched off a bit, to see what the patty tasted like, and then I just kept pinching off of it until it was gone. Needless to say .....the sandwich never had a chance, so now I'm stuck with lettuce tomatoes and pickles, ketchup, mustard and also mayonnaise and two pieces of Texas toast.-lol The fries were seasoned to perfection, the patty was fresh.... everything was cook to order! You'll order your meat or main and add your toppings. I ordered a smoked Turkey burger with American cheese on wheat bread and a side of crispy fries plus a drink. The burger was delicious! Let me start off by saying that customer service here is excellent! They really make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. While eating I really got to see how they treat their regular customers and it makes for an excellent atmosphere. I order their 1/2 burger medium well and it was cooked properly. You have an option of bread as well as cheese. You put all your condiments on yourself at the condiment bar. You have a choice of banana peppers, jalapeños, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and there are still more choices. Everything seemed fresh and I left full. So I came here doing a pickup and delivery they had such great teamwork and amazing service going on I had an outstanding need to come back on my own. I check online for their hours (because I realized they have funky hours) to see they are open until 7pm. So I'm even more excited! I drive 45 MINUTES to get here only to find out they are already closed!!!! Mind you I got here at 3pm welllllllll before closing time. I think their hours should have been effectively posted. As I'm sitting here, I see several (4/5) people parking trying to come in only to find themselves disappointed as well. After reading the reviews, and hearing people talking about this restaurant, it was a must I try it. Plus they've also been named as one of the best burger restaurants in THE USA...and they are! Be prepared to wait, because they be super packed! I waited about thirty minutes for my burger, but I didn't mind, because all they're burgers are made as they are ordered! They use fresh ground beef, and that is awesome, to know they're not using frozen patties. Now on to my food. Fresh, hot and delicious!!! I ordered the turkey burger on Texas toast it was cooked to perfection! They also have vegan and vegetarian burgers as well, which I eat vegan burgers to. Next time I will try one. Since I-75 was backed up and we had to detour anyways we happened upon Mike's. We were delighted that they had vegetarian impossible burger and regular. The place has a good neighborhood vibe. I overheard one of the managers telling a customer that they use a special grill for the non-meat items. My turkey burger was delicious, moist and tasty. The star of the show though was the homemade chips, which are sometimes called Pub chips. They arrived hot to our table and absolutely delicious. My daughter's impossible Burger was so good if I didn't know it was vegetarian would not have guessed. Would definitely stop there again if I'm passing through. read more
