The chicken tenders were undercooked and the customer service was not up to par. Two employees stood by the drive thru window as if they didn't see us. We blew the horn several times and it wasn't until the other cars in the line had to come around, the workers acknowledge us. We wanted napkins and ketchup since none was provided in the bag. I've only been to one other Raising Cane's (the one in Times square). I don't know if I just have higher standards now because there are so many good chicken sandwich options popping up, but I was fairly underwhelmed here, and believe the quality of this sandwich was not as good as the other location. It just tasted flavorless... almost like the sandwich was just bread + chicken. They were too stingy with the sauces and other toppings. Also had a chicken finger which was okay, although pretty miserable looking. The service/ operation here needs to be improved. We waited over 10min for the food. And then they didn't provide us with any sauces, despite having ordered 5 chicken fingers. Not sure why they are so stingy with sauce, because that's quite key. I love the vibe here. The food was a little salty. We tried putting our chicken in the toast and it was great! The staff was really nice and helpful as it was our first time. My only issue was the trash. It was just like the picture that another person posted. Every single trash even the one as you walk in the front door. They ask if want your food for here or to go but is always in a bag despite the choice. Everyone eating "here" is eating out of a bag. Maybe that would decrease the trash if served differently. It's so reliable. It's so good. There's really not much that can go wrong with canes. Get a combo. You can sub out anything you don't want for more of another thing (ahem cole slaw for more fries). I love that they're expanding and there are more locations! read more

First time dining at Raising Cane's! Walked in and the place was loud! Between the loud music and multiple loud employees, it was like being at a party, and not in a good way, at least for me. There were multiple employees behind the counter, many of which appeared to be immature and loud high school students. My order was taken by a friendly fellow, who seemed to be a local, and maybe a college student. My order arrived in reasonable time. My fries were warm, at best, and my chicken could have used another 30-60 seconds in the fryer. Their famous garlic bread had little garlic flavor. I liked the Cane's sauce. The online menu reads that you get fries AND cole slaw with your order. In-store menu reads (I believe) you get a CHOICE of fries or cole slaw. A disappointment for me. For $9.99 I didn't find my meal a good value or something I would want to have more than once in a long while. Check it out for yourself. You might love it! read more

We stopped in yesterday for a post game visit and it did not disappoint. The service was definitely top-notch and the food was incredible. The sweet tea hits the spot every single time, especially if you're from the south and you know what true southern sweet tea is. We have these in Texas and after moving up here, we were so excited to pop in to have a rendezvous with the past. Crinkle fries are literally my favorite type of fries, and the box comes as an abundant amount of food. The only thing that I would say was missing was the tangy part of the coleslaw. As a first time guest the staff was less than helpful with my questions (I felt as though I was annoying them), they were running out of ice so everyone only got a half a cup, the ketchup was empty and the trash was overflowing. They advertise iced tea and lemonade, and they hand you a cup for self service, but the lemonade is not with the other drinks and when we went to ask for it, we were told it is an up charge. Went through the drive thru. I initially ordered the 3 box tender combo with an extra piece of Texas toast. I came to the window and i was charged for a big box instead. Small error no big deal. Total came just over $13. The coleslaw was just ok & the fries were cooked well. I would like the tenders to be cooked longer they were a little too soft for my liking. I was so happy to see that Raising Cane's finally opened up more Eastward and came to Delaware. My friends always talk about this place with high praise. I was able to finally see what the hype was all about! Raising Cane's is very straightforward, simsimple, and effective. They do chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, fries, and lemonade or ice tea (Arnold Palmer as well). It was totally crowded, and for good reasons. This franchise very popular across the US. The chicken is super moist, it just melts so well, and the breading quality is superb. They got their ratio down to a science. You have to enjoy it with the actual Cane's sauce. They cannot be separate. The chicken and the sauce must be enjoyed together for the real experience. Their fries are nice too, I don't see crinkle cut fries being served too often around that area. They're small and crispy. Even reheating or air-frying the food the next day it still tastes like I just ordered it. Raising Cane's is a definite must-try now that it had finally come to Delaware. So we finally got a Raising Cane's here and we have been three times, which tells you about their chicken as we live in Kent county. If the review was based on the food, it would be a five star all the way. Their cooked to order chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw and garlic bread always comes out hot and delicious. And the Kanes sauce, it's like crack if crack was a sauce you put on chicken and legal. So why the missing star? Simply put, two reasons, and these have to do with this particular Kane's. They play the music way too loud, its impossible to have a conversation. Secondly, two thirds, 2/3's,or 66.6666% of the times I've been there, the restrooms were not clean. I will say that the hype has died down dramatically. They only sell chicken tenders as the entree, which is fine, but you'd expect them to be mind-blowing, no? They are hot when you're served, but not crispy. The breading is basically just falling off. I suspect because they never really have a chance to rest once they get taken out the fryer and placed in your box so all the steam just lifts the breading away. That said, they just aren't /that/ good, especially for the price point. And they aren't very big either. They may just be seasoned with salt and pepper. The Texas toast is good, but also soft and moist like everything in the box. The Canes sauce is nothing more than old bag, ketchup and Mayo. Tastes exactly like the sauce I make at home when I make a HelloFresh burger recipe.
