While dropping my laptop off for repairs, I noticed this Raising Cane's on the right hand side of the street, It was absolutely unexpected since Raising Cane's usually is more out of the state because I remember having it in Pennsylvania. After dropping off my laptop, I got in my car and drove towards the Raising Cane's in Milford. Upon arriving towards the business the street to even enter into Raising Cane's is a hassle. It's a very busy intersection if you end up missing the turn on the main road. Upon entering this business, I was greeted by a young lady at the register and she was already very friendly, I gave my order and I went to go fill up my cup that I got with my "The Box" Combo. After that I sat down and waited for my food, It was a couple minutes but one of the workers was sweeping around the store so I sparked a conversation with them saying that I used to work fast food so I completely understand that they are just trying to keep the place nice and clean as the worker told me prior that she whipped everything down which I enjoyed. After that I was called up but my food wasn't there, so I just waited at the counter and the young lady that was on the register apologized to me about the inconvenience and I basically nodded and understood and let her know it's alright. As im waiting for my food to be given to me, I notice how the kitchen moves, the communication is a little lack luster which is unfortunate because I remember going to a Raising Cane's in Pennsylvania and the communication was on fire in that place. I feel like im giving them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened up recently in Milford. I was given my food and I went to sit down. Fries were cooked very well and crunchy for crinkle cut, which I enjoyed, a little salty but it was good when I dipped it in the signature Cane's sauce (Listen, hands down, best sauce out there). The texas toast was delicious as always and the chicken was decently cooked, one of which was a little hard to chew, but I had 3 good pieces which I couldn't complain about. Overall, I give this place a go around again and I will be returning when I come back to receive my laptop. Whoever actually had time to read this whole review, please please give this place a try, I know they just opened but just remember Connecticut never had a Raising Cane's so enjoy it while its there, the good reviews will potentially make Raising Cane's build more places around Connecticut, so try them out! -AJ read more

Made the decision lap to try. Ordered uber eats for a big box of tenders. Would say that it is the juiciest, most tender and crunchy tenders I recall ever having. Not even oily. Like a great Popeye's place but just tenders only. Iz'm not a 12 year old who wants chicken tenders all the time and willing to wait 30min for fast food in line. And least the quality held up over the hype from other major chains that open up. Not a frequent customer to any major chain, I prefer trying local places. Finally a Raising Cane's in CT. I visited other locations out of State and really like this chain. It was a few days after opening I came here, so it was crazy busy. Hats off it all the workers that kept the lines moving and the food and drinks coming. They still need to work out the kinks and other challenges. Do not be intimidated by the lines in the double drive-through, I been inside to order twice and there hasn't been a line and service was quick during the dinner hour. The interior is bright and clean with murals on the walls. The tenders were flavorful and tender. The bun on the tender sandwich was fresh and soft. The Cane's sauce was a hit. My fiancé surprised me and brought me lunch from Canes today. He went at 11:35 and did the drive thru and said it was only 10 mins to get the food. He said it was a good experience considering it was only the second day. He got me a 3 tender combo with Canes sauce. Let me tell you I really think the garlic toast is the star here! Had the chance to preview this location and I was glad it turned out really well! Parking is light though so drive through may be the best option. It's located in a busy intersection, the entrances seem like they flow but it's a tight location. Horrible service. At 6:05pm in the drive through line, a lady walked up to my car to take my order. She talked and laughed with her co worker next to my car for a few seconds, and then turned to me and coldly said "what can we get you". I said my order, and then she finalized it as I paid, and then she just walked away. I don't expect toxic positivity or a fake happy smile and greeting, but she couldn't have been more cold and careless if she tried. Completely careless, couldn't have been more obvious that every customer she dealt with (including me) was a complete annoyance and burden. Soooo good. The chicken is hot and fresh. The cane sauce is just dip worthy. Buy extras- trust me. The fries are perfectly crisp without an overabundance of salt. The only complaint is that it's too crowded. You may not be able to park to dine in. Even with the crowdedness the staff is kind and the orders surpassingly are served quick. Worst store layout ever, lines are not formed inside to buy food. Not enough help to take orders and they do not display food ingredients encase you have allergies. They have something that states what's in the ingredients, but you can't even see it. So my food was thrown away, because of my food allergies. I was forced into the drive-thru by cones...no opportunity to park and go inside. $12 for a bag of salt. I ordered the three finger combo with a sweet tea and said yes to ketchup for my fries. I received two and half fingers, no ketchup, and unsweetened tea. You are forced immediately back out of the parking lot with no real option of re-entry. I guess one should refuse to pull forward without checking their gigantic shopping bag. The chicken fingers were pretty juicy and good. I am impressed that they have a line of cars and people tripping over to eat a fastfood place that only serves the kids menu.. it takes adulting to new level and by that i mean eating like children.. They serve what the rest of the food world has on their kids menu , to bad no apple or juice boxes........but I cant say a bad thing about the food or service , The chicken was very fresh and spot on, the texas toast is perfect side no complaints..The ice tea was the best i have had. Might even say probably better than any other fastfood place ,.especially the icetea half& half...I just dont get the hype around this place , its very sophomoric & adolescent... i guess their success is a sign of our times - adults who are really children .... when a grown man or woman is hungry chicken fingers & fries are not an adult satisfying meal.. its a fun tail gate party or sports event grub for sure but the level of seriousness its given children stop it...
