Whether intentional or not, it gave the impression that desirable items may not actually be available to customers. Sad to say I don't recommend. Edit: The reply from the owner clearly shows how out of touch he is with his store and its sellers. There are multiple people who can attest of the behavior of the modifying and removal of the piece I was interested in. A simple check in with your employees would confirm the situation. Congrats on the 45 years you hold in the community maybe tell your sellers to try and do better in the years to come! Honesty and humility go a long way. It's in such a happening hot spot with lots of other businesses around. I love what Westside Market does supporting small/local businesses. It's a home goods store that has a variety of unique items ranging at different prices as well. Some of the items are new and some are used. Lots of things are handmade, some are also vintage. You can find furniture, art, candles, jewelry, clothing etc. I haven't had a problem finding parking and I go on busy days. There always seems to be consistent traffic flowing through the store. They also have events/classes that you can sign up for to learn how to make and do stuff. You have to go to the website to see what is coming up. There's also a community booth where I've seen an artist do live paintings. If you are interested in renting a space for your business there go to their website and sumbit your interest. If they have spots available they will reach out to you.

I was shopping for a client with midcentury taste who likes pieces with a story behind them, and this was the perfect stop. It's a great mix of time periods and style. I received help from various people working here, and all were kind and generous with their time, even as they let me circle the store for an hour figuring out which pieces I wanted to get. Interiors Market has undergone (and from the looks of it will continue to undergo) SO many renovations and refurbishing over the last year. Milton, the new owner, and his partner Greg are the friendliest people one could hope to encounter when shopping in such a large warehouse-style shop. But PLEASE don't let the size of Interiors Market intimidate you. Like I said, Greg and Milton are wonderful, polite, and well informed about their craft. Any question I had was met with an enthusiastic response. The store has an incredible and eclectic selection of lighting, home decor, art, and furniture... and it all ranges from antique, to mid-century, right up to today's contemporary trends. Browsing through the shop may take you a whole afternoon, but frequent stops to chat (and laugh and enjoy free cheesecake samples!!!) with Mrs. Hornsby of Hornsby Cakes will not only keep you entertained, but will make you feel more than welcome into the #InteriorsMarketFamily. Most…read morerecently, they PERFECTLY fixed a skirt for my wedding outfit after it was pretty seriously damaged at the dry cleaner. This repair involved not only repairing a large rip, but also unstitching and restitching 16 panels in the skirt and hemming multiple layers of fabric (they moved part of the bottom border to the part of the skirt with the rip to cover it). My skirt had a complicated pattern and was a delicate material, so all of this had to be very carefully and expertly done. My skirt came out looking better than I could have imagined - they are so skillful. The work is very high-quality and at a fair price. Drop-off and pick-up is on Saturdays (limited hours) in downtown Decatur or you can coordinate via text with Barwin to pick up at their home. I'm definitely willing to make the time in my Saturday schedule to go to them because they are that good at what they do. If you need a good tailor, I highly recommend Barwin and Yaser at Morning Star.
