I was looking for rustic ceramic pottery for a multiple planting piece for my front walkway. I found the exact size and shape I needed. I also didn't have to compromise on color. This place has a huge selection of similar rustic pottery. There are many color themes with unique variations to choose from. The majority of the pieces are larger than 12x15 inches. There are some smaller but selection is more limited. Similar pieces at pikes nursery are slightly more expensive. I highly recommend visiting. I spoke with Mark and he explained the process of the production in great detail. The piece I chose did not have a drain hole but Mark was able to drill one for a small fee. It is close to the CDC chamblee campus. The only negative is that they close at 5pm. read more

I stampeded there today, as I recently complained about exorbitant pot prices and how I have nothing attractive for my herb collection. Then God spoke on the 24th day of March and said, "Let there be a Scoutmob coupon at AW Pottery." The prices hugely range - from a small $10 pot with lion faces to $400 urns. I purchased a wide shallow pot for my mint, along with a couple of green pots for oregano and thyme. I also stumbled upon some stepping stones with different sun patterns, one of which is so weathered you can barely tell what the design is. I like that, though. First, the selection is vast. You can easily spend an hour walking up and down the outdoor aisles, surrounded by pots of all shapes, sizes and finishes. Second, you can find all sorts of price points. That said, the majority of the larger pots are pricey. But if you play your cards right, check for coupons or specials on groupon or mob app, etc. you can help on the price. Third, while most of the property is outdoor pallets filled with pots, there are some very cool landscaped spots, ponds and gazebos with great design and planting ideas. STAY AWAY--UNSTABLE OLDER MAN EMPLOYEE!! I would give ZERO STARS if I could!! I went to this store 5 weeks ago to buy Square copper pots for my house plants and some ceramic outdoor pots. The pricing in everything is very confusing but the nice lady working there explained it to my boyfriend and I thoroughly. She also explained that is we had the Mob app it would be 50% off non clearance items. Soooooo.... I go there just last week to get more of the copper pots to finish my house inside and get more of the ceramic outdoor pots since I like things matching. I get there and the nice lady is not there but a very older Asian man is out smoking in the parking lot I let him know that I would be just a few minutes since I knew exactly what I was getting and knew the price. I get everything within. 5 minutes period and he is NO WHERE to be found. The property is spacious and I walked around everywhere saying hello for 10 minutes. Couldn't find him. I needed to get to work. Finally he shows up. I had found another item that I wanted to by 8 of but didn't know the price (they were not clearly marked like everything else). He had no clue. I then proceeded to tell him that I was there weeks earlier and the nice Asian lady waited on me so I knew how much everything else was. He told me I was wrong and was jacking up the price by $20 on the copper pots and telling me the ceramic pots were not on clearance. EVERYTHING is clearly marked including clearance items. When I corrected him and referred to the Asian lady and what she said he started to argue with me and then he got so irate he started actually YELLING at me. I was extremely uncomfortable since I knew that no one else was on the property since I walked it for 10 minutes trying to find him earlier. I then began to tell him in between his screams that I would just come back when the lady was there. At this point I was getting very scared and began walking quite fast to get out of there. He proceeded to chase after screaming at me. He was very close behind me. When I got to my car I said if you do not get away from me I will pull out my stun gun and use it. He screams "go Ahead!! Kill me!!!" This man is completely unstable, very scary and SHOULD BE NO WHERE AROUND THE PUBLIC. Of course I left immediately. I drove to the end of the street and had to stop since my heart was racing and I couldn't stop shaking. This place is 50 minutes from my home. Not only was I verbally abused and chased down like a dog I wasted gas and 2 hours of my time. I'm letting everyone know to stay away from this establishment!!! Found this place with a Google search and was not disappointed. With the high prices of pots and planters at big box stores like Home Depot, this place is much more affordable. They have a huge selection with different pots of all sizes on their property. Walked around and looked for quite a while looking for the best deals. I was shopping for smaller pots for indoor plants and succulents. I ended up with 12 different pots for around $20. Great selection and super cheap. I encourage anyone to go there before paying too much at large stores. read more

AW POTTERY IS AWESOME! AW Pottery Atlanta is a reliable and quaint company to do business with. The sales team is possibly the best I have encountered in terms of customer service: a sales representative accompanied me during my shopping experience and was able to answer all of my questions completely and to my satisfaction. The loading crew was just as polite as the sales staff, taking gentle care of the products as well as my car during the loading process. I was very pleased with the great care they took to inspect my product, cleaning it and padding it carefully. I am very happy with my set of three pots from the rustic collection and my set of two from the Vietnam collection - surprising opposites! However, I stole a few ideas from the aesthetically designed showroom that inspired these selections. From the quality, design, and authenticity of the products, I felt that the asking price was very reasonable, and to my delight, I received a 15% discount for being a first-timer. For five beautiful pieces, I only paid 430$ sans tax, saving 65$; although 495$ is just as good of a price for my selection. After shopping around online and at other stores, I figured out that my selection would cost at least 700 anywhere else. This affirmed my decision to buy the ceramics from AW Pottery. I thoroughly enjoyed this shopping experience and will be sure to refer all of my friends who are interested in home and garden decorations to this place. Great place to get pottery that isn't over priced with a great selection.

BUYER BEWARE! OVERPRICED MERCHANDISE! WILL NOT ALLOW RETURNS OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS! Considering most of their merchandise is made in their own factories in Malaysia, AW Pottery's prices are quite high. We knew that going in, but we were in a hurry to get a job done and were not expecting things to become as costly as they did. We bought a set of 3 matching pots at $400 for a customer of our landscaping business, the largest one was to be used to make a fountain. An AW Pottery employee loaded them into our truck, while we placed padding around it and fastened it securely. But when we got to the job site, before we even moved anything, we noticed that there was a hairline crack running along the bottom of the large pot making it unsuitable to hold water without a repair. We tried to return it but they refused to take it back. It's possible that the crack happened in transit but knowing that it was secured and padded, that reflects badly on the quality of their products. Also, they charged us $1.60 per lb. for 300 lbs. of decorative stones that we later found at another place for $.35 per lb. We also tried to return these but again they refused even though the stones were still in their original containers. In AW Pottery's defense, their sales receipt clearly states that all sales are final and that they do not accept returns or exchanges. But they could have offered to do something to help us and there was no reason that the decorative stones couldn't have been put back in their bin and resold. I can only assume that they know the stones are overpriced and that is why they won't allow them to be returned. We won't be doing business with AW Pottery again! read more

What a find! I came here thanks to Scoutmob. Holy smokes, pottery! There is SOOOO much to look at here. This place is really huge! Although some things are priced very high (and I had to keep reminding myself of the Scoutmob), the selection is great and pots come in a variety of colors. I stumbled across an area of small pots inside that were perfect for my succulents and orchid and I loved that I could get the colors that I wanted. I learned about this secret paradise tucked right away in metro Atlanta from yelp, and gave it a try. I wanted a very large glazed pot to serve as a focal piece in my garden, but only had a budget of $150. Very tough to do! So I was shopping around with no luck, until I found AW pottery! I found the perfect pot for $370, and when I explained to the very helpful lady my budget. She told me about the scout mob coupon for %50 off!! OMG! That changes everything. She even knocked an additional $15 off so that it would fit closer to my budget! I went home with a pot over three feet tall, took two men to get in my car, and would retail at other stores for $600-700 for $170!! Couldn't have been happier! And I didn't have to sacrifices my size, style, or taste, for my budget!! They have pots that range from a dollar to $1600. As well as stepping stones, bird baths, and garden decor.
