Dr Wadhwa has been our family doctor since we moved to South Bay. He's friendly but also to the point. He delivers information you may not want to hear but he's got a long medical professional history to ground his advice and insights. He gives us his attention and is thorough when we have mysterious ailments pop up. I wanted to give five stars but the front desk and the medication reconciliation process gives me heartache. And for some reason they insist on ordering new medications at my specialty pharmacy (only used for my neurologist medications) or my home delivery pharmacy (which is only for my longterm medications). I once pleaded with the admin to only order my meds at CVS so I could pick it up (usually within an hour) but they had the doctor order my new medication via home delivery pharmacy which arrived to our front door while we were away on vacation in another country. A very frustrating delay in care that could've been avoided. Instead of listening to me, the medical assistant or whoever I talk to on the phone ALWAYS offer to simply delete my specialty pharmacy and my home delivery pharmacy. I literally have to beg them to don't touch my other pharmacies. Only use CVS. Aieeeeeeee! They want to delete them to make it easier for them. Huh? It's so much easier to just listen to me ... only use CVS. There. That's it. Aside from that headache, I still think it's worth seeing Dr Wadhwa. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Wadhwa and will not be returning. From the start of the appointment, he repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my symptoms (lower back pain) and my recent urgent care visit. Before allowing me to finish, he dismissed my concerns and stated, "I'm not a back doctor, I can't help you." When I attempted to provide context, including a prior back injury and medical records I brought with me, he refused to review them and instead insisted--multiple times--that my pain was solely due to my weight. He did not examine me, ask follow-up questions, or consider my medical history. His tone was dismissive, and at times he appeared to roll his eyes when I tried to speak. When I shifted the conversation to the reason for my visit--discussing my treatment plan and medication (Mounjaro)--he again interrupted me and incorrectly insisted that the medication cost was $300. I explained that my pharmacy quoted $1,300 and offered to show proof, but he dismissed my input and continued to argue rather than listen. Throughout the visit, I felt talked over, disregarded, and disrespected. I left without my concerns being addressed and without any meaningful care or guidance. Patients deserve to be listened to and treated with respect--this experience did not meet that standard. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience. read more

Worst Dr I have ever had the displease of meeting. Didn't read test results completely. Attributed a whole array of ailments to low thyroid function. Two encounters were enough to convince me he is a quack. After seeking treatment elsewhere I was told from two different friends that they too had decided to find competent treatment elsewhere. read more

I went to ER last week and they recommended to follow up with my primary physician. My primary physician wouldn't be available until July, so they offered me an appointment with doctor Wadhwa. I asked if I had to bring anything or send my ER exams upfront and they said no. The day prior my appointment someone from their office called me and asked to bring my current prescriptions bottles and again, didn't have to bring anything besides that. When I got there the doctor REFUSED to see me as I didn't have the printed ER results, they asked to send through email, I sent and and the doctor still refused to see me as had to be printed or sent through fax (who still uses fax???) so I questioned the assistant as I was told 2x on the phone I didn't have to bring anything and the answer was "it was not me that picked up the phone and we have a lot of new hires". How is that my fault? The doctor simply refused to see me while I was there in pain. I would not recommend to anyone as there's clearly a lack of communication between the staff and the doctor is extremely arrogant. read more

First time (last year), I requested for an appointment as I had fever and cough, and urgently needed doctor's appointment. As mentioned in my insurance card, he is my primary care physician. Appointment team said next available appointment after 2 months. I had to visit another doctor. Second time (this year), I requested for an appointment as I had infection in my leg. They said the available appointment after 1 month. I had to visit another doctor. Third time (this month), I requested for an appointment for annual health check up and got an appointment. I find Dr. Wadhwa to be a very knowledgable physician with excellent medical and interpersonal skills. He is extremely wise, communicative, asks intelligent and meaningful questions and I trust him implicitly. My entire family has been seeing Dr Wadhwa as our PCP for several decades now and we have no interest in switching docs until the day he retires. Even after my parents retired and moved states they continued to see Dr Wadhwa thru tele-health. Dr Wadwha is very honest and straight to the point while still having compassion for his patients. To me that's as ideal as a doc can be. I can see some other reviewers don't appreciate his direct-ness and have taken it the wrong way - but wouldn't you prefer a doc who gets straight to the point than one who can't seem to give you any definitive answers? Everytime I leave his office I have 1) answers, 2) relief, and 3) more knowledge as he always educates his patients with valuable facts and anecdotes. He's a great family doc, especially in this busy world. Office is clean, quiet, and you get in and out in minutes. I started seeing Dr. Wadhwa about 6 years ago and was happy, thought he was a good, thorough Dr. & even recommended him to friends & family. In Feb this year, I went in for a visit and he was not only rude but MEAN & said things I never thought a Dr would say to his patient and I left there in tears. Recently, I was hesitant about seeing him again but had an earache and also needed to find out why he wasn't refilling my Rx that he had been refilling for over a year and he again was rude and MEAN and said he was not refilling my prescriptions anymore. He made false accusations to me accusing me of lying about an earache to come in for a Rx refill. The prescriptions I was on are not the type that you should be taking off and on and now I am out until I can get in with a new IM. I am so shocked and disappointed that ANY Dr. can act this way towards a long time patient, and decide whenever he wants without any notice that he is cutting my Rx off. I'm not sure if he is going through some personal issues or perhaps is in trouble with his practice so he is acting out but I would not recommend anyone seeing him. I have NEVER experienced this type of treatment by someone who takes an oath to put their patients health & wellness as their priority and to treat patients. I am visiting my daughter here from India. After my arrival, I got sick and was facing high palpitation and by monitoring at home, we observed that i had high systolic mostly. we thought of seeing a doctor, an internal medicine one to begin with. We took an appointment with Dr Wadhwa. At the hospital, on my turn, (after more than an hour of my appointment!), first the assistant measured my BP and left the room. Then the Dr arrived and took my BP 3 times shifting from left to right to left arm and told that I had a heart murmur, which is a congenital heart condition and it can show its symptoms at any time in life ( I am 60 years old). I really got nervous and it must have shot up my BP further. At this, my daughter asked him that why was he declaring this in front of the patient, without taking due care of her condition at the moment. He told us that this was mandatory in the USA, and he had to tell it to the patient directly. He advised me to go asap for an angiography, and if this was confirmed, i will have to undergo a heart surgery. I was at high risk and if not attended urgently, I could drop dead anytime under a severe attack. Obviously, my daughter was concerned and she started planning to take me for angiography asap. I thought about it for a while and talked about this to my son-in-law and conveyed that I was not convinced with the doctors' advice for the following reasons- 1. I have been a sports person as a student, why this congenital condition did not show up earlier in my life? I am still very active, do yoga and walking to keep fit. 2. The doctor refused to give me some medicine to stabilize my BP for the time being till I got further treatment, the reason given was that was risky too! Then, how could he advise me to get angiography done by just writing it on a slip of plain paper (not his letterhead) ? 3. If he does not specialize in cardiology, he should have rather asked me to see a cardiologist! Thank God, my better sense prevailed, and instead of going for an angiography straight we took an appointment with a cardiologist. The doctor there, did all my heart tests very systematically to establish the cause of my disturbed BP and all my test reports are normal and say that my heart is perfectly healthy. The reason of my condition could have been something else like change in environment/climate etc. By this time, I have a normal BP and no palpitation. But from the time I met dr Wadhwa till I could get an appointment of a cardiologist, it was really tough for me. The other things at the clinic, how good they may be, are immaterial as long as the patient is not satisfied with the treatment and comes out of the place in a worse condition. But i must add here, the doctor is nice otherwise, and gives enough time to the patient while attending. The place is very clean and staff polite. read more

Dr. Wadhwa is a good doctor, his receptionist is a very rude and unprofessional . I have called the office many times with issues, most of the time she tells me to go to the emergency room, where I will sit for many hours and fill out several forms.
