She extremely nice and polite and always makes sure you're liking what's she's doing; she does intermediate checks -at least for me she does- before she finishes my eyebrows. Rajvir was kind, attentive, and fast. This is my first experience threading and I had a lot to do. I have an extreme case of hirtuism due to PCOS all over my lower face and neck and have been shaving to deal with the problem. Rajvir was super fast for the large area she had to do. And was even kind enough to wait for us when we got lost coming to her home based business which is very clean and inviting. She had music in the background to help take your mind off the task at hand. Because it was my first time and I had thick stubborn hairs it was painful but Rajvir promised that with continued treatments the treatments will get easier and easier. My mother is more experienced with threading and she had her eyebrows and upper lip done and she stated it didn't hurt at all. She stated the thread she used seemed more gentle than what she has experienced in the past. The price was well beyond reasonable. After having my eyebrows pretty much butchered by some lady in the Bay Area, I'm glad I made the stop to see Raj today! After growing my eyebrows for a month, Raj did a great job returning them to their shape and she also gave me pointers on where to let the hairs grow still so that they are even next time I get them done. She was very pleasant and very sweet. And she only charges $5 for eyebrows -that's insanely good deal for her work. This review is LONG overdue, but Raj is my girl! My sis and I receive so many compliments on our brows since going to Raj. I've been her client for 2 years I think. The fact that her prices are super affordable, she's flexible, keeps a clean environment, annnnnnd she's super sweet and funny is why she's my go-to-girl. She is also honest! I was going to have her do my henna for my bday, and instead of her taking my money and just throwing something together on my hand, she told me she didn't think she would be able to do the design as detailed as I'd wanted. She didn't want me to be sad on my bday lol So I ended up going to another shop in the bay area to have it done and it wasn't ugly, but it just wasn't what I expected it to be. It looked nothing like the design I brought in. Fast forward to a month later, I'm getting ready to head out of town for a wedding, and I decide that I would like to get henna done again. I bring it up to Raj, and she's willing to try the design. She worked with my schedule to get me in last minute too and she finished my tattoo in like 15 minutes. It was GORGEOUS. I don't have a picture of it after it flaked off because I used snapchat to take pictures and didn't save any to my gallery :( but she did a beautiful job, the only thing I have to complain about is that it didn't last as long as I had hoped it would. Raj was great. I was in Tracy, just finished a movie at the mall, called her, said I could come in a half hour, so I did a few other errands, popped in and in 10 minutes she was finished. She was very sweet. The house is VERY CLEAN. She has a separate room as a studio, so very private. Eyebrows look great. I do my own waxing (facial and underarms), but never could do my eyebrows great. But $5! Wow, what a deal. Her other prices were great too. I travel from Livermore to Tracy for my services, gas, and groceries. Even services, like haircuts and threading is way cheaper here. I'm going to come back on a regular basis. Before coming to Rajvir my #eyebrows were very uneven . And a MESS . I started plucking them at 13 I'm 36 now . I tried a few eyebrows #threading places in the bay area and Tracy without success . So I went with my girlfriend to this place after visiting her parents in Tracy, CA. After yelping and reading reviews we decided to go here, not what I expected, first it is done at her home and not a salon. She was nice but rather rough on the threading process, my girlfriend had some little cuts after the process was done under her eyebrow. This was the second time she went to her and told me last time it was worse. Perhaps due to little competition in the area the reviews where high but I would not recommend her in my opinion, but try it and you can then have an opinion of your own or maybe help her get more experience. read more

Hello Yelpers! Well, I just recently went to Rajvir (this past Friday) and I was a lil sketchy at first (her business being in a home) but once we entered into the Threading/Waxing room, I felt more comfortable than being in a salon. There's privacy, and no one watching you get your stuff done. And she is soooooo SWEET!! I love her prices and the job she did on my daughter and myself (threading - eyebrows and upper lip). I plan to make another appointment to get my whole face threaded! At shops it has cost me about $35 to get my face threaded but with her it's only $15!! You can't beat that! I recently found Raj on yelp. I really love going to her to get threaded. I used to live in the bay area and I used to go to this salon that my cousins went to, to get waxed. But I find getting waxed is a bit to harsh and resulted in a lot of in grown hairs. So when I moved back to tracy I decided to try something new. Going to see Raj is very convenient. She lives a few blocks away from me and I usually just send her a text to see if she can fit me in that day she replies fast and she usually is able to get me in within the hour. She does the threading at her house, she has her own private room with a professional salon chair and she always keeps the door closed during my appointment. Most people think its weird going to someone's house but I don't mind it at all. Her family is very polite and whenever I go if Raj is with another client they always let me know I can just take a seat in the living room and wait for her. Raj takes her time when she threads, she is very gentle and when I leave she always makes sure my eyebrows are even and all the pesky stray hairs are taken care of. Her prices are super affordable as well. If you thread at the mall or get waxed at a salon I guarantee your paying double the price and not even getting close to the great quality job that Raj does. I've been going to Rajvir for Threading and other services for about 2 years now. This is the MOST convenient and reliable place I have ever been fortunate enough to find in any city, ever. I can text her almost any time of the day and get an appointment in just minutes. She listens to what I want with my eyebrows. I am VERY picky about my eyebrows and was hesitant to let her do them until I felt comfortable. I had just my upper lip done for a while then started with eyebrows. She does an amazing job. I've also had 2 Indian outfits altered by her. Again, she listens to what I need and what I want. She is not like most of the other Indian/Ethnic services out there that tell you what you need and that they know more about what you need than you do. Needless to say after 2 kids my body just doesn't fit into ready made clothes. She altered them to exactly what my shape/figure needs. My outfits are perfectly wearable now and look and fit great.
