I was in desperate need for threading, and I'm glad there are more places in Tracy that offer that service. After a quick Yelp search, I found MK Salon. One of the reasons why I chose this place was because they had online booking and a list of services. I actually didn't end up booking online when I noticed they take walk ins. And I was seen right away. The woman who did the threading wore a mask, which I appreciate. I didn't wear one because I was getting my upper lip threaded, along with my eyebrows. She was very thorough, and I was done in like 10 minutes. She cleaned up my arches, and they look great! I wish I got her name so I can book her next time. The price for eyebrows and upper lip threading was $15. They do have a Yelp check-in deal, but it states it was for Valentines Day only. One thing I would recommend for this business is to add a description of services for their facials. I've been wanting one for awhile, and the prices here look reasonable. But I don't know the difference between a pearl facial, diamond facial, papaya facial, etc. I can sort of take a guess as to what each facial is supposed to do, but I don't think I should. The place is small with a few chairs in the waiting area. Safeway and CVS are nearby, and there's also a few places to eat, including a Starbucks, so I imagine you can wander around while waiting. I'd check with them first.. I definitely would come back for their threading services, and I will most likely get a facial, too, after learning what each facial service does. read more

Okay so I lived out here in Tracy for about 9 years now. Always hard to find that one spot you like and get use to. Well sad story that spot that I love going to is completely gone I had no idea they were going out of business plus I had credit on my account Well thats long lost. As I continue to look around I came across MK and hands down highly recommend to anyone looking for eyebrow threading. Super easy to make a appointment online. As I did but got off work early I called to see if I come earlier and they were happy to let me come. As I arrived was greeted and checked in and asked what I needed done. I've been coming to this salon for years. Today I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and a new lady who I've never gotten before provided my threading service. Once she finished my eyebrows looked completely different. She had threaded a patch of eyebrow off of my right eyebrow. Mistakes happen, I understand. But when I told her about the patch she said no and tried telling me it was already like that, like I don't know my own eyebrows. This is terrible customer service and honestly it made me want to get a refund. read more

Last time coming here. I have been here a couple times before and the previous experiences were fine. I have light brows I wouldn't say they are thick by any means but I like to get them threaded to get them cleaned up and shaped so it's easier for me to fill them in. I came in and it took longer than usual and was painful and when she showed me my brows I understood why she gave me thin and rounded eyebrows about 50% of my eyebrows were gone. Worst experience! Called the day of and asked if they had any availability for eyebrow threading. The lady said yes and to come in whenever I wanted. I told her I would be there by 2 o'clock, which was less then a hour away, finished my errands and headed over. When I walked in, I informed them that I was the one who called and I was seated promptly. The service took less than 10 minutes and they looked pretty good. The only thing was my left eyebrow was noticeably thinner than my right. I didn't say anything because once the hair is gone, I just have to wait for it to grow back. I don't recall much about the ambiance since it was a short service, but at felt at ease when in there. Overall I would go back again but definitely let them know not too thin on the brows. Worst Salon! Please don't put your health at risk by visiting this place! I got my hair colour done here recently! I had clearly asked for Ammonia free hair colour and the lady without even doing any patch test or informing me straight away applied Ammonia hair colour and when my scalp and eye started burning she said its normal and the colour was also lighter that my actual hair! And when I complained MK Salon mentioned the lady who did my hair doesn't belong to MK salon she just rents a chair there! This salon has been a hit or miss as far as threading goes. I've had my eyebrows threaded for almost 10 years so I'm used to the process and what it should look like. The last time I was here was 12/11/22 and it was my last; I was very disappointed in the threading service I received as the woman who did my brows took off too much hair at the end of my left one. She also took a long time which was very uncomfortable for me as threading is something you need to do fast (and accurately)! I didn't notice it initially until I got into the car and I saw that the end of my brow only had a few hairs. I was upset at the time because I was planning on getting nice photos done that day and I couldn't--even with eyebrow makeup it just didn't look right. I've had some good threading services here in the past but they have new people working here all the time so it's hard to know who will actually do a good job. read more

Incredible service! I called about waxing and asked if I could walk in (March 2022) she said of course. When I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile. Cheap product used, definitely not salon quality. I got my face waxed, and by the evening my skin was breaking out. My skin was incredibly dry for the next week. Also, within a week and a half the hair is already growing back, the wax was cheap and didn't pull deep enough. read more

I called and they were super polite and accommodating to me requesting to come in at that very time! Mandeep (the owner) came in to do my facial. The salon was very clean and the massage room was also very clean. I also used my airpod during the massage for my own music choices and she was super accommodating which I haven't always gotten at other places. She recommended the pearl facial and it was phenomenal! Unlike most other places that only do "50 minutes" or leave you sitting under a steamer for half the facial, she was actively doing things during the facial the whole time, including a very relaxing massage of my face, neck, shoulders, and upper arms. Her extractions were relatively painless and I walked in with my skin feeling clean, well moisturized and not dry like it usually feels! For a facial that lasted almost over an hour, the price was very reasonable as well. The environment was relaxing with few interruptions. 11/10 would recommend and I'll definitely be coming back! My only negative (which isn't worth less stars): the online booking may not be accurate so I'd definitely call first). read more
