Dr. Patel is a very unreliable doctor , I had scheduled an appointment in December, 2024 and had got an appointment for Mid March,2025 which got cancelled due to unavailability of Dr. Patel and they have a next available appointment in August, 2025. It's like the beetlejuice waiting room. I swear they forget about their patients while they're in the examination room. My pregnant wife was constantly put in a hot room. They mix up all their appointments. That place is ran so poorly. Those poor pregnant women are in there for a minimum of 2 hours(make sure you bring a sandwich). It's like being at the DMV. Stop torturing these women and knock it off with the mask BS. Ya'll need to have some team meetings because that DOC is treating you like a dirty sock. read more

Dr. Patel has been my OBGYN since the start of our journey with infertility. She has always been so encouraging and gave me a glimmer of hope when there didn't seem to be any! She delivered our beautiful miracle girl two months ago! It was comforting to have Dr. Patel there when going into labor for the first time. For over 3 years now I have nothing bad to say. She is a phenomenal doctor - certainly one of the best OBGYN doctors in the tri-state area. Her staff is pretty darn good too! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Patel and her staff. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive. You can tell they all really care about their patients and love what they do. My pregnancy was riddled with complications and Dr. Patel guided me through everything seamlessly with her expertise, confidence, and empathy. She never makes you feel rushed and always takes the time to explain each step of the process, as well as answer any and all questions you may have (I had a million). Weird as it sounds, when my pregnancy ended I was a bit sad I wouldn't be seeing her and her team as often because outside of being incredible with my care, I feel like they also became friends. Dr. Patel is the best! She delivered my son via C-section 6 weeks ago at Christ Hospital and it was a great experience. It was my second C-section so I have a good point of comparison. I don't even normally write reviews... 1. Her staff - particularly in the Bayonne office are wonderful. Nazia, the Pampered Pregnancy coach, gave us a solo tour of the hospital and offered us multiple classes that were complimentary. She was always there checking in on us at office visits and the hospital to see if my husband or I needed anything. It was nice knowing I could call or email her for anything. Also Alexis at the front desk is great. It was nice coming in or calling and the person there knows who I am. Instead of asking me to spell my last name 3 times, she would chat with me about my family and she is super helpful when it comes to helping complete my loads of paperwork for maternity leave. The rest of the crew in the office are a pleasure as well. It also does not hurt that there is rarely much of a wait and there's a parking lot... 2. The hospital - Dr. Patel told me that she liked the staff at Christ Hospital and that she delivered here herself. That sounded like a good endorsement, and I'm glad we made that choice. I opted for a gentle C-section and I actually had the first delivery of that sort performed at the hospital. They also accommodated us by using a different operating room than normal to allow my husband to be on my left side because he is blind in one eye. I think they even had someone to look out for him in case he passed out - this was an ongoing joke but also a real possibility. Nobody passed out and the procedure was smoother than I could have hoped for. I was able to see my son born and have him lay on my chest and nurse as I was put back together. 3. Dr. Patel herself - She made every effort possible to meet our requests and make us comfortable. She has a very calming demeanor, which was an asset to me in my sometimes panicked pregnant state. She put up with my husband's crazy sense of humor. She spoke loud and slowly when my mom came with me and she picked up that she was hard of hearing. And my scar... it doesn't even look like a scar. I was expecting Frankenstein staples again, but I came out with a clean clean line right out of surgery. I don't know how she did it. My husband and I said that we should have another baby soon because Dr. Patel made it so easy - haha just kidding. That's not happening because Dr. Patel also performed a tubal ligation. Thank you! Since the first day of our consultation, she was very patient and made us comfortable for the whole procedure of pregnancy. All through my wife's pregnancy and until she delivered, my wife got very good treatment. Dr.Patel saw me through my early pregnancy. She is very supportive and incredibly gentle with internal exams. I can honestly say, I didn't feel a thing during my PAP smear. Our lives all changed overnight with the pandemic of 2020 and during that challenging time, I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I spent weeks researching to find an ObGyn and was blessed to find Dr. Patel! The first day I visited the Bayonne office, I was welcomed by her friendly staff. Anytime I called with a question or needed help with insurance or paperwork, her staff was extremely helpful and always got back to me right away. The office is also very clean and well kept. When I met Dr. Patel I knew I made the right decision in choosing her for my pregnancy journey because she is such a kind, gentle person. She always answered my questions during my appointments and was always supportive. I'm so grateful she guided my baby boy into this world this past December along with her amazing team at Hoboken University Medical Center. Dr. Patel arrived at the hospital very quickly after I was admitted and she gave me such clear directions during the labor and delivery. I knew I did not want an epidural and Dr. Patel supported me in that decision. During the labor and delivery I did not change my mind about the epidural because she was so encouraging and supportive while at the same time such a calming presence, that I felt calm, confident, and empowered instead of afraid. She kept my husband informed as to what was happening during the whole process and made him feel very involved in the birth of my son. Dr. Patel also advocated for me; she made sure the hospital staff was aware of my birth plan regarding care for my baby once he was born. I waited two hours in the lobby to get a 2 minute examination. She sent the wrong birth control to my pharmacy and when I called it took six times to finally get an answer. When I did she said that I needed to come in for another evaluation if I wanted to switch birth control... even though I just wanted my original birth control. read more

Dr Rakhee Patel is amazing and undoubtedly the best OBGYN in the area. Dr Patel helped us to tackle every stage in the pregnancy smoothly . She listens attentively to all the concerns and answers each of them patiently. Our visits throughout the pregnancy have been like a breeze. Never had a problem even with a single visit in the last one year. Her bedside manner is fantastic. She is really passionate about the work. She was there in the hospital for 36 hours straight during and after the delivery and even then every step and every decision she explained to us and made us feel at ease even during the tense situations. I am really amazed to see how she cares for her patients and her support staff is extremely helpful. Anytime of the day/night when we had questions they were answered promptly. Haven't experienced such a dedicated and a caring team elsewhere. Dr Patel has been my gynecologist for a couple of years. She is a young professional that is knowledgeable, aware of the latest treatments available and beyond nice. I suffer from endometriosis that resulted in surgery, and she has been instrumental in dealing with a difficult health issue. She listens to all my symptoms giving me the most innovative options available. I could not imagine not having her as my doctor. Whoever gave her a bad review is way off base. Dr. Patel is a fantastic doctor. She's calm under pressure, nonjudgemental, and profoundly helpful. She takes the time to get to know you and understand your specific situation and is a delight to be around. Other OBs scared us with fear mongering or didn't take the time to explain important things. I owe my healthy and uneventful pregnancy to her. She managed my nerves as much as she managed my physical health. We ended up having a bit of "crisis" delivery and Dr. Patel managed the situation with such grace and calm, I never knew anything was wrong and was able to deliver a healthy baby girl naturally. I am very unhappy with the services from this facility. I am being charged for lab tests that I didn't even know about. The doctor and assistance's failed to inform me about tests other then an annual pap and didn't even ask me if I wanted the other tests done. Now I have to pay out of pocket. Also, the facility was very dirty. When you walk in, the floors look like that haven't been cleaned in months. The furniture in the exam rooms are falling apart. And not to mention, the trash cans were overflowing. The place is unsanitary. I don't know why anyone would continue to go back to this clinic. read more

I have been seeing Dr Patel for over a year now and always have a great experience. The only time that I had a long waiting room time was when she had an unexpected delivery, which for obvious reason is reasonable. I never felt rush or non important. I was ready to move forward with a surgery with her when I found out unexpectedly that I was pregnant. Dr. Patel was excited for me even when I was in shock, which made me feel a lot better(sometimes its the small things). I unfortunately had a first trimester miscarriage. Dr Patel reached out to me right away to discuss what we should do next. She recommended another sonogram a few days later(which I know now is standard)but I wanted another that day. She was able to make a phone call and got back to me within minutes with a new location to go to. Unfortunately the results were the same. Dr Patel called me again right away before I left the building. She gave me some words of comfort and we decided the next steps together. What I loved was she gave me options. As a Doctor, as a Mom and as a Woman she was able to help me through this difficult time. read more

After Dr. Prakash turned her office over to Dr. Patel I was excited to have a younger, relatable and seemingly caring doctor. But recently I had a horrible experience. After having surgery and then having a gynecological issue arise, I followed the doctors order and action items only to have the staff and office manager refuse to give me a medical clearance letter for abnormal bleeding over 23 days instead it was said that despite my continued bleeding my test came back normal and therefore they would only write a note for the first day I came in not the subsequent, ultra sound visits, and awaiting test results and the doctors clear what seemed at the time empathetic instruction for me to returning to work the following week. My test shows additional fibroids and uterine cyst, slightly low hemoglobin and wbc- I have never had surgery before that could regulate my hormones so as I lay person I i took the doctors advise to a t, I'd been home on medical leave after surgery and then this gynecological event took place concurrently. The office refused to say I was under their care after the first day in the office because there were no significant findings other than additional fibroids, and cyst that may in fact be the cause of the abnormal bleeding - I was treated like I was trying to get over with suspicion when I simply wanted answers as to what's going on with me internally and a note to return to work- my employer, HR, insurance company were all very pleasant but this office treated me as if I was on trial - as someone who suffers from autoimmune disease the stressed they created this week is unforgivable- they lost a patient who really liked the doctor but even the doctor wouldn't speak to me it was just bizarre - deeply disappointed- would never recommend read more
