I was going back & forth trying to decide if I wanted to trust another cleaning company in my home since the pandemic started and in the past I've been disappointed regardless of trying to give second chances to other companies. However, I was rather pleased with my deep cleaning for 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + extra $5 per window track cleaning --which I needed and recommend to anyone else who are rather busy. I'm usually the type that has a hard time trusting others clean for me since I usually take pride in my cleaning and like things done a certain way, but I'm glad I gave RCC a try. I had 2 ladies arrive on time and cleaned for 4 hours, which says a lot about their tidiness when I had already tried to make everything as easy as possible for them by clearing out all the toys, clutter, etc. What really stood out with RCC is that they had a field manager arrive right after the cleaners had left to check up on their work and tidy up anything they may have missed. I truly appreciate the great customer service, which is so rare nowadays. I look forward to scheduling my future maintenance cleanings and hope the great work will stay consistent. read more

Clean entire 925 sq ft, one level apartment, 2bd, 2bt, LR, small hall way, kitchen. Quality of thorough initial deep cleaning by the workers, (ladies), was great. They were engaging, polite, very jovial. The first initial cleaning was in the $400+, but it was worth it. It included my oven in the stove which was a little extra $. The monthly cleaning was very reasonable, always gave the ladies tips! I'm looking forward to obtaining Raleigh Cleaning Company Services again soon. I highly recommend this cleaning company. Awful cleaning job. My husband and I moved into the area from out of state and wanted our new home deep cleaned before moving in. We paid extra for the fridge and oven and yet multiple areas were missed in these two places in addition to the rest of the home. The kitchen and bathroom drawers were sticky and the bathroom tubs were dusty. The hardwood floors and remainder of the house just didn't look and feel clean whatsoever. I have since "deep cleaned" our entire home and it truly looks and feels clean now. I did call the day after and customer service agreed to send someone back out later that day, but she initially laughed off/ questioned my concerns which I think is highly inappropriate when a customer is complaining. The cleaning lady who came back asked what I wanted recleaned and she did a nice job on the areas I asked of her; however, I would have preferred a complete re-do. The fridge water tray was still filthy and I wanted to see if she would clean it without my prompting, but this didn't happen. I emailed the company requesting a refund and they didn't even have the decency to reply (it's been 2 weeks since this email was sent). I initially chose this company based on the stellar online reviews, but for close to $500, this was a complete waste of money and I regret working with this company. read more

Raleigh Cleaning Company started out strong and quickly became mediocre. I'm not sure how they are so highly recommended every time someone asks for a cleaning company recommendation in Facebook community groups. Cleaning quality was always very inconsistent, as they send different teams every cleaning. If I leave comments in the post-cleaning email surveys, they never seemed to be taken into consideration. I told them I appreciated the one time they wiped off the top of my dog's food and water bowl holder and gave a small tip. It was never done again. Isn't the point of those to realize what the homeowner values and replicate it each cleaning? One person (who seemed to actually the most thorough of the cleaners) locked herself out of my house twice and I had to leave work to let her back in. (She worked alone apparently - usually it was at least a team of 2 or 3 women) Did I ask for or was I offered any kind of discount for having to take an hour out of my day both times? No. They also locked me out of my master bathroom once. I came home and they had closed the door (even though it is always left open) - and it was locked. I had to jimmy it myself to open - when I called they said it must have been locked when they closed the door. I live alone and never lock doors so that seems odd. They also closed the door to my guest bathroom where my 2 cat litter boxes are. They have to pick them up to clean, so they know they are there. I didn't get home from work until 9 hours later- my cats had gone that long without access to them, which was concerning. Also, at the very first visit, I told the person who asked about my cleaning preferences that I wanted them to use my own vacuum when she asked specifically about that. I typically would leave the house for cleanings, and one time came home while they were still there and wouldn't you know, they were using their vacuum?! I didn't even say anything because by that time, it had been months and there's no point in insisting only mine be used if it hadn't from the start. What is the point of even asking that very specific question if you don't do what I asked? They have also broken 2 things of mine and kind of just placed them back together and not said anything. One was a small faux succulent in a little cement container - they just pushed the two pieces back together and put it back where it was. I had to throw it away once I realized it, as it wasn't repairable. Second was an alarm clock in my guest bedroom. I went in there to read the weekend after they cleaned and saw the face looked off - the plastic face had popped out because it clearly had been knocked off the nightstand, and they shoved it on backwards (how I noticed something was wrong) and it no longer keeps time right. Small things, but it would have been more appreciated if they told me about it instead of trying to pretend it never happened and hope I didn't notice. The last straw was came when I expressed concern about the cobwebs on my 2 downstairs light fixtures found while changing lightbulbs. I was told they are only cleaned during the initial deep cleaning and adding it to the rotating list for my bi-weekly cleaning would be extra, to be billed at $40/hr. This is ridiculous as this should be part of the standard clean at least on a rotating basis. Evidence that their cleaning standards are subpar. How hard is it to lift your arm up 3 feet to dust above a table you should be dusting anyway? I've never been one to white glove test my cleaning crew but never came home feeling like my house was super clean. Well, now that I was fed up, I went around and could not BELIEVE the layers of dust I found on things that any meticulous cleaner would have on at least a rotating list to address. Tops of canvas paintings on walls, etc. (See photos) I put up with the mediocrity for awhile because I was dreading finding someone new but the light fixtures being extra just really pushed me to finally cut the cord. read more

We have been using Raleigh Cleaning company for over a year and a half now and they have always provided us with excellent service. The staff is courteous and goes out of their way to take care and do the job right. They bring all their own equipment and cleaning supplies but if I have a special cleaner for special job they use it. What I really like about Raleigh Cleaning Company is I have the same team of ladies every time, so they get to know my house and how I want things done. I would recommend this company.
