I had an excellent experience. Visiting from out of town & forgot my medication. My doctor phoned in the prescription. I called & staff answered the phone - promptly & politely confirmed receipt of the information. Told me when it would be ready & forewarned me of impending lunch closure timing. Shortly thereafter I also received a text message from them informing me it was ready (early). No wait in line to get it & staff went out of their way to assist with an insurance issue. Do NOT send your prescriptions here. They won't be filled, even those that are time sensitive. You will show up and spend hours waiting, to no result, and you will end on an endless loop of being placed on hold. The ER nurse was even kind enough to call, to no avail. The staff just seemed miserable and overworked. Do better!!! Hire more techs, or reject scrips if you can't fill them so they can sent somewhere else. read more

The staff is lazy. Prescriptions can take a while; Hours could be better, it can be very frustrating.

This pharmacy is seriously short staffed, so much so that critical medications are delayed for hours while they sort through their backlog. The line of people waiting always seems to be 5 or 6 deep and takes forever to navigate as everyone wants to know why their particular prescription isn't ready and when it will be etc. The gal at the register was completely worn out by the time I reached her and replied simply with a shrug when asked when my prescription would be ready. "Maybe in an hour". Turned out to be 3 hours. Go elsewhere if you need your meds. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad here. I've selected Raleys Pharmacy about 4 years ago, primarily because this is where I shop for groceries and it's less than a mile from my house. My son has several perscriptions and I'm here at least once a month. I've NEVER had any issues here. I call in to make sure the Rx is ready and the staff have always only been friendly and accommodating. Danny is he usual clerk there and he's a little shy but very nice. The only thing I can say, is they dont stagger lunch and close for an hour. I'm sure it's a staffing issue but it's a convient time for some to drop in. read more

I understand they are short staffed, but for 6 months they have never filled my prescription until I come in after it's supposed to be ready. Once I'm there they will generally fill it within a day or two. That's unprofessional. It gets worse if you say anything. I dared to say "what do I have to do, call in to complain when it's not ready on time?" The pharmacist said I shouldn't use language like that. For me to dare say the word "complain" she said I'll send your prescription out of here right now... 3 days after it was supposed to be ready... and 2 days after some of my meds ran out because they never count 30 pills correctly. It's shoulder season. It's not like the town is full of tourists causing a flood of work. Can't wait for natural grocers to open up so I can shop somewhere else. So disappointed. read more

I recently changed my prescription drug coverage company. This entailed me using the Incline Village Raley's pharmacy. I had two prescriptions that had previously been filled by a pharmacy in Reno. When I went to Raley's they were very busy but I was assisted by a very helpful and professional member of the pharmacy team by the name of Danny. It turned out that my new drug insurance coverage company had declined the very same prescription I had been refilling for years. Danny called to find out why and was told that they would only cover a one week's supply not the one to three month supply the prescription had been written for and filled for multiple years prior. I paid for one week and called the drug insurance company. After multiple challenging discussions they realized that they had made a mistake and assured me that everything would be back to normal. I returned to Raley's and was told that because I had purchased the one week supply I needed a new prescription from my doctor. Danny was very empathetic and helpful. So now I go back to my doctor to explain the challenge. She is out of town for two weeks. Her PA sends a new script to the pharmacy. I return to Raley's and Danny informs me that the drug insurance company declined it again because it had not been a week yet even after getting a new script. Danny called the PA and the drug insurance company and finally got it corrected. These pharmacies get a lot of grief but the problem is mainly the insurance companies. They look for every way in the world to not cover what we pay them to cover. Raley's Incline Village should be very proud to have a team member like Danny. He helped me while also helping others each time I went in. Please respect these folks. They work hard, are usually under staffed, and take the brunt of abuse from folks that are sick and possibly not in the best of moods. Thank you Danny and I sure hope Raley's takes as good a care of you as you did of me. read more

I want to compliment Noah and the staff for going, " Above and Beyond" on two separate occasions in the past few months. Noah helped facilitate perscriptions in an expeditious way due to travel constrains on our end. She took extra time to communicate and follow up. Wish I could do 0 stars. Dr. calls pharmacy to give diagnostic code so I go in once my Dr. confirmed she talked with someone and they say they never received it. Have the Dr. call back a second time and then they tell me they never received it again. Dr. calls in the morning and says she went through a whole process with someone. Go in for the 3rd time and they tell me I can't get it refilled because of insurance. Dr. calls back a 4th time to straighten everything out. Do not go. The woman cashier should not work there either. She's way to slow and a thousand people were in line. read more

One of the worse pharmacy I have ever used. Multiple times have tried to call in a prescription that would not be ready for over 3 days requiring me to call daily to check in. Currently I have tried transferring my prescriptions for SEVEN DAYS and still do not have my prescription because they claim that my prescription doesn't exist, it's expired, etc. I call Raley's myself and they said yes we will call over to your new pharmacy right now. NEVER CALLS. I am now 4 days without a prescription and counting. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! read more

I am a doctor trying to call in a prescription for a patient. I called the pharmacy number and pushed #1 for the provider line. It sounded like someone picked up with the tail end of a voice then silence then disconnected. I called back and this time I heard the voice say very quickly "please hold" and then same thing happened. I called back two more times, each time the person disconnecting the calls. I called the front of the store to report the problem. Then I tried again pushing the number for patients to talk to pharmacy staff. This time a person answered me, transferred me to the pharmacist, a different person answered with a full " can you please hold?" And I proceeded to wait on the line for 25 minutes and finally gave up. Clearly they are understaffed or have not trained their staff to use their phone system. I am now going to call my patient and ask her to pick a different pharmacy! Huge waste of my time! read more

Wow I am actually shocked by the nature of how I was treated today at Raley's pharmacy - so unprofessional. I was waiting in line and pharmacy assistant very RUDELY yelled to me that they were closing down for lunch while then turning to the man in front of me in line and asking how they could help him. I said that I was there for a pick up only and she once again shouted at me that they were going to lunch. A lunch break I certainly understand. Shouting at your customers who are standing there and offering no further information as to when to come back? I will never do business with this pharmacy again. read more

Raley's Pharmacy provided the worst in customer service I have ever received from a pharmacy. My doctor had called in a prescription and provided me with a coupon for pick up. The pharmacy staff would not accept my coupon because they said that they already charged my insurance and that they were not willing to reverse it. I am under a Health Insurance Account (HIA), where every dollar counts. I needed the funds in my HIA for another procedure I had coming up. When I told the lady that I just wanted to pay cash for my prescription, she said that she would not give me the prescription. I needed the medicine and had no choice but to let it go through insurance. With the cost of health insurance and complications in the industry, you need a pharmacy that will work with you. This is not the pharmacy that looks out for the customer at all! read more

The pharmacy is horrible. I received the worst service ever. The pharmacist knew less than the tech and believe me that was not a lot. I am scared to death to go back since they could not figure out my insurance I wonder if they are that good at getting the right medication in the right bottle? :( read more

Never Ever Shop At This Store I have been shopping at Raley's in Incline Village and have used the pharmacy since I moved to Incline about three years ago. I take a prescription Eye medication. I have been buying it at the Raley's pharmacy in incline Village. In February I got a fresh bottle from the store and I couldn't get a drop out of the bottle, it was defective! I had a spare bottle so I put it back in the refrigerator and used another bottle I had. I finally got around to taking the defective bottle back to the store to get a replacement. I spoke to a pharmacist whose name on his badge was RJ.Oroso I told him about the problem and instead of offering to either replace the bottle or give me a refund. He wanted to start an inquisition of me about why I hadn't brought it back sooner. I may be retired but I keep busy and hadn't gotten around to it. He would not accept my response and refused to do anything about the problem. I wrote a letter to the store manager thinking I would get either a refund or a fresh bottle of the eye drops. A few days later the pharmacist called me and offer to give me the phone number of the manufacturer! Thinking maybe the pharmacist had gone rogue i went to the store and spoke to the manager Michael Finn. He basically told to tough luck that it was fine with him. I pointed out to him that it was like telling me if I got a bad egg I should contact the chicken. My recommendation is to never shop at Raley's. read more
