When the photo enlargement was accepted by the photo system, I ws advised by the computer to return in 30 minutes to pick up the photo. By this time, the two women switched places. When the original woman assisted with a different purchase, I remarked that I would see her after I had some dinner. She queried why I didn't already have my photo, she expedited the processing. The woman formerly at the register rushed back to the photo department to facilitate the printing. I had my enlargement. Village Pharmacy is the opposite. They answered the phone promptly, processed me in-person quickly, answered my questions patiently, were friendly and knowledgeable. They accurately estimated the time to fill the scripts, and I got an automated text once the scripts were ready. They do compounding as well - they are a real pharmacy, not a chain of pill counters. I will definitely go here for all my prescriptions in Incline Village going forward.

The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.

I will say I haven't had many issues with Walmart delivery and I usually order every couple weeks or so. This time, however, was nothing but hassles and an additional hassle to get credit on an item that had been opened and eaten out of!
