I walked in and was greeted by a smiling service member at the door. She asked how she could help and directed me to the teller counter. No line. Awesome. The teller was friendly and efficient. She got my new card in no time. Of course, I had my ID handy. Whew. While I was there, I noticed their display for Visa gift cards. How convenient. They're super cute, too! You can get some right there or mailed out, depending on the card you choose. Mine came with a card sized register booklet to keep track of when you use the card. Christmas gift cards ... check! Done! As I left, I was given a departing greeting. If you're in Corpus Christi, they have a small yet full service NFCU branch!

They are holding funds that were owed to a deceased family member while claiming he was not entitled to them, despite the fact that Social Security benefits are paid in arrears. The payment deposited in October was for September benefits that had already been earned. The lack of clear communication and resolution has been incredibly frustrating during an already difficult time.
