Brand new community credit union location! This place is…read morenice! There's a drive-thru and they have plenty of tellers and the whole place looks new and fresh! I love their landscaping, the palm trees look fantastic! It's not as nice as the Rockport location. That one has the friendliest tellers, and the nicest location that's just so convenient. But when I run into Aransas Pass, this location will do. They have good rates on their banking products and they offer a wide range of loans and savings and checking accounts, tailored for the military family. This really is community banking. You keep coming back, and they learn your name. They really go for service, and really try to make you feel like you're not just some account number, you're a valued customer. I really appreciate what they're doing here, and think this is a great member of the community- they chip in on local high school sports teams and yearbooks and the like.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the money was in my account and available the first time I looked. She was very pleasant and professional and a joy to work with. I have never had any problems with this credit union in the 30 plus years I've been a member. When I was living in Corpus I dealt with STAR frequently and knew everyone on a first name basis.
