Upon meeting my salesman, He proceeded to tell me that my information didn't add up. (as in i am not who i am- identity theft maybe idk) Kind of implied that i had somehow stolen my own identity but ok. I was asked to provide multiple documents and wait 1 week. i provided those documents on that same day. hello if i wanted to steal someone's credit i would steal someone's credit that has good credit. duh! After 7 days i called and was told to keep waiting. After 2 weeks of calling every day i was told wait longer. I gave up. After a month i received an email saying i should call back to check my status. I did and was told my application expired. Needless to say i went elsewhere and am now in a vehicle and love it!!! i walked out with a vehicle that same day ... and my downpayment was way less. DriveTime is not a great place to get a vehicle. It's a great place to get the run around. Do better!

About 10 days from seeing car online before finally getting to get it. I was sure I wanted it....Toyota, low mileage, I could look at it on the lot. But the office wasn't open. Turns out they were being protective over a Covid case. Understandable. I obtained my own financing. The price on the Toyota was competitive because they hold their value...the loan office was asking why the price was on the high side...the car was in impeccable condition and again...Toyotas hold their value...and the pandemic has made used cars go up in value. DT worked with my CR perfectly and the car is awesome. I highly recommend DriveTime in Corpus. The prices are non-negotiable. If you don't like what you see on the sticker...keep moving. Simple. But what I saw was in line with medium values with KKB.

Hate to spend my Saturday on an oil change but if you have too, they have a clean cool waiting room with feee coffee and cookies so it make a it a better experience. Our vehicle purchase was also one of the few new car buying experiences I have had. Sales staff was also very friendly up front and helpful. I highly recommend.

I am being giving the run around by the Kia Service Advisor E.J. I called the service advisor twice on Friday 8/7 and I never received a return phone call. I followed up with the main number and requested that EJ return my call as I had left two messages previously. NOTHING! So Monday 8/10 I went into the service dept and requested that I needed service on the vehicle and a courtesy car. I also requested why my phone calls where never returned and I guess the explanation was a Meet and Greet with the teacher, well as a retired teacher I know those don't take all day with one parent! Lame My car is under warranty and this should be fixed ASAP to avoid creating further problems with the engine and transmission. We are business owners and I cannot afford to be without a car for however long it takes for Mike Shaw Kia Corpus Christi to fix the problem. I have asked for a courtesy car while my vehicle is in for warranty work and was told there were none available and they do not have any idea when one will be available! I would think a service manger would be in touch with what maintenance repairs are in house and be able ascertain when repairs are due to be completed and a courtesy vehicle available. I was also told if I go ahead and rent a car, Kia would not cover the cost until they are able to diagnose the problem...possibly 3 days or so. I am not stupid they will diagnose the problem asap (based on my explanation) and have the car fixed by the time they state they have just completed the diagnosis and I am out rental costs on a warranty issue. I get the picture I am not stupid! This is dishonest and unethical! How is it my responsibility to take care of organizing a courtesy vehicle or rental car, they should have courtesy cars available to deal with warranty work like BMW or Mercedes dealerships! Maybe offer one of their demo vehicles while my vehicle is in the shop! This known problem that originates with Kia should not inconvenience me as a vehicle owner!!!! It's a warranty issue! Can I say RECALL OR LEMON LAWS APPLY HERE!! I am really aggravated by the cavalier way the service advisor is treating me and blatantly lying to my face! Not what I would expect from a service professional, purported to providing a customer-oriented service experience. That's definitely not my experience and that will definitely influence my next vehicle purchase!

The salesman confidently told me the car did not have a CVT transmission. It does. When I asked whether the transmission fluid had been serviced (it never had, across 159,000 miles), he refused to do a simple drain and fill and compared it to "back surgery on someone with no back pain." He handed me the dealership's own internal repair order, and that's where it got worse. It listed an "A/C Evacuate Recharge" that did not match what AutoNation reported to Carfax. It also documented a cooling system leak diagnosis, a cooling fan replacement, and a suspension/steering repair, none of which were disclosed to me. A cosmetic repair package had been declined internally, and two prior damage events on the Carfax were never mentioned. When I asked questions, the answers disappeared. The salesman repeatedly said he "wasn't a mechanic," couldn't find anyone who was, and didn't know how to find the information in their own system. The moment I started asking informed questions, his demeanor changed entirely. I did not buy the car. I purchased from another dealership the same day and was treated with honesty and respect. I documented everything and filed a complaint with AutoNation corporate. I asked only for accountability and better training, no compensation. The full story, with the actual documents, is here: thereasonablecustomer.com Reasonable customers deserve honest answers. I didn't get them here.

When he picked up the vehicle 2 days later, the steering wheel was significantly crooked--an issue that was absolutely not present when it was dropped off. The service department completely denied responsibility, claiming they "didn't touch" the steering components during the recall service, and flatly refused to correct the issue. Instead of taking accountability for this, they are trying to force him to pay out-of-pocket for a wheel alignment. To make matters worse, they would not let him speak to a service manager and the employees were dismissive, and lacked any sense of basic customer care or professionalism. It is entirely unacceptable to try and charge a customer to fix a problem that the shop itself. We will never return to this location for sales or service, and I highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere if you expect honest work and respectful treatment.
