My boyfriend and I lived in one of their rentals for just under 7 months and ended up having to sign an agreement to break our 10 month lease because our experience was so bad. We lived at their Chandler St apartment and had CONSTANT noise pollution coming from the back alley and our upstairs neighbor. We put in our first complains within our first two months and were never taken seriously. We were told that the noise complaint was an "issue between residents" and that there was nothing they could do to stop our upstairs neighbor who threw things at her floor (our ceiling), slammed doors, screamed, stomped, jumped up and down on her floors (our ceiling), and repeatedly LIED about making noise even when we provided video evidence to management. After we signed this notice to break our lease early because "there was nothing they could do" we were forced to find a new apartment within 50 days and move out. During this time, the noise situation escalated to outrageous extents. Our upstairs neighbor CALLED THE POLICE on us for "harrassment" (because we asked her to please be quiet and we were only going to be living there for 2 more months), she also sent her boyfriend down to our apartment to legitimately harass us by knocking on our door continuously, trying to come in our apartment if we opened the door, and yelling outside. All this time I continued to leave noise complaints on Prosper Property Managements website (as directed by Samantha (who no longer works there) Just to find out that their site was broken and none of the complaints I had submitted had been received. Renting from Prosper Properties caused SO MUCH stress in my life and I genuinely hope they go out of business. I was harassed, lied to, forced to break my lease and find a new place to live, and prosper properties did ABSOLUTELY nothing to remedy the situation. Also :) the neighbor stole our keys upon move out (procedure was to leave them under the door mat) and management blamed us. Even though there are supposedly "working security cameras" outside. DO NOT move here!

I've heard horror stories of property managers not taking care of the places like they should, but I wasn't ready to sell my home. I took a leap of faith and hired them. They showed interest and professionalism from the beginning. Did everything they needed to do and advertised the house when needed. I must also mention that they advised me every step of the way and in every decision I had to make. I always felt like they were acting in my best interest and at no point they showed like my business mattered less than other customers. My last tenant was a friend of mine. I did ask at one point if she was happy with Prosper as the POC, and she had nothing to say but good things about them. They were helpful to her and very patient. I had to sell my home after three years, but I don't think I could be happier with the services they provided, which in turn gave me a peace of mind. When homeowners ask reasonable questions about money spent, maintenance, vendors, or other association matters, there should be documentation available to explain what happened. My experience has been that obtaining clear information has sometimes required repeated requests and considerable effort; and, most times you never receive anything or are ignored. Records and transparency are fundamental to good property management, and I believe One Way Properties has a lot of room for improvement in this area.

What you'll get from Bobby Brown is a realtor with all the smarts of an inspector, the gut instinct of an appraiser, the detail-orientation of a plumber, and the labor intensity of a landscaper. He's always ahead of the game, suggesting easy fixes to future problems that you don't even know about. 10/10, 5 stars, 2 enthusiastic thumbs up. Bobby is the best. Our longer story: My family inherited a trust fund which was invested in a home in Bonney Lake, WA. Almost as soon as the house came into our name, the septic system fell apart. At this point, we called Bobby and let him know that we were looking to sell, but weren't sure where to start. We were unsure of how to move forward because we live in Spokane and the house is on the west side. Immediately, Bobby recommended a septic company to work with (Flohawks) which led to a string of excellent companies along the way (Vac-Tec installers and Ric Wilkerson to name a couple). As we learned more about our failing system, the price was rising by the 10,000's. In total, it ended costing around $40,000. Feel free to skip this paragraph, but here's a story from the install that I think shows Bobby's care and integrity for our family. Once the system was finally installed, Bobby came by and made sure that everything was working. Immediately, we realized that the main water was busted. I was actually afraid to call around to figure who did it, but Bobby made the calls with me and we got to the bottom of the situation. I would literally call someone, put them on hold, ask Bobby what I should say, then say that. Call after call, companies denied that this was their fault and I was getting pretty nervous. Eventually, we figured out who did it, they owned their mistake, then fixed it free of charge. Kind of a weird story, but I thought that it was SO cool that Bobby was willing to make those calls with me and finalize the system. For me, that went above-and-beyond what anyone could ever expect of their realtor. Throughout the rest of the process, Bobby always worked with us personally, rather than sending someone to represent him. He helped us haul away 1,300 pounds of trash left by our previous tenants (see pictures), fix a number of small inspection points (again, we live on the other side of the state, so he just volunteered for this), conduct 4 different open houses, and was friendly 100% of the time. At every interaction, I felt that Bobby was setting the standard for all other realtors. He's hard-working, value-driven, personable, smart, punctual, and always answers his phone. We believe that he listed our house for the perfect price and did an outstanding job of keeping us in the loop (again, we're across the state). I wish that we lived closer so that we could refer Bobby to more people, but know this: you will be so glad that you went with him and his team. They're a breath of fresh air and give you a sense of peace about a very stressful process. Bobby, you're the man!
