Since I have older children, I asked for a refund because we were leaving. Staff told me they were "fixing the pH" and planned to reopen the pool. I made it clear that my children were not getting back into a pool that had just been contaminated with human waste. Their response? "No refunds." So just be aware: the "No Refunds" policy apparently applies no matter what--even when the reason you're leaving is a biohazard that shuts down the main pool shortly after you arrive. Extremely disappointing customer service. We paid for a day at the pool, not to deal with a sewage incident and then be told we're out of luck.

Oldham County Judge-Executive David Voegele said the Oldham County Aquatic Center Pool at Wendell Moore Park won't open this year, but contrary to social media rumors, it won't permanently close. In a news release Thursday, Voegele said "structural and mechanical problems" last year led to a point where repairs need to be made now. "In each off-season, the Parks Department has worked with a pool vendor to identify and complete needed repairs," Voegele said. "However, last year problems increased - marked by burst pipe connections, failing pumps, a separation of the concrete pool deck from the pool, and a serious water leak which continuously drained chlorine from the pool. Chlorine is critical to keeping the water clean. The situation is such the pool cannot open and the needed repairs will require about 18 months to complete."

The snack shack is old school, pretty cheap. There's lots of kids. But they do an adult swim. The bathrooms needed a touch up. They do a good job communicating with members on social media, the people who run it seem to care and that's nice.

I very politely asked if I could visit their pool even if I wasn't a member and he stated yes, told me their hours and hung up. So I drove 20 minutes and when I got to the gate I talked to two high school aged girls explaining that I called and would like to visit for the day. They very rudely turned me away saying that only members could come in and that I just have been mistaken because no one of their staff would say that to me, when I know with 2000% certainty that I did indeed talk to a male that said he represented the pool. It felt very insulting that someone younger than me would talk to me like I was stupid and that she and her friend thought I was a joke. After the fact, I have heard from friends that I should be glad I didn't go anyway because they have a lot of rules and that it's not a big or as nice as other neighborhood pools. Very disappointed

This year I went on a holiday weekend and they had a few simple BBQ items on the food menu, which I thought was perfect. The cocktails are yummy. And they often have parties with DJs and beach balls floating about, which can turn into a community determination to keep the ball up in the pool--adorable! They no longer take reservations, it's first come first serve. And the daily price during the week doubled. I also couldn't find info about evening hours anymore, either. I do think it's a little hard to find information, outside of their general landing page, and have called or emailed a few times without a return message. Overall though, it's a chill low-key spot that's probably still figuring out what works best. I'll definitely be back.

I'd say this is more of an adult hipster pool, I've rarely seen a lot of kids here. Which I like. This is my second season going to Myriad, and it's a great addition to the city. I usually do a day pass but we have got a room several times, and everything has been terrific! There's an outdoor bar, but waitstaff will also come around and take your order. They have some delicious frozen drinks as well as a menu for poolside dining. They do provide fluffy white towels as a courtesy and that's such a nice touch. This year they've extended the pool hours and that was so smart! Most nights it's open until 8pm. The chef is amazing, the full menu in the restaurant is top notch. They've also been very accommodating in letting me order some things that are not listed on the pool menu. Cashless payments only, FYI ..so bring a card. On the weekends, they have a delicious brunch menu as well. I've been really happy going to the Myriad Swim Club. It's clean, fun, with great food and drinks and all the little touches to make you smile and feel welcome.

For only $8, you get to enjoy a huge, L-shaped pool with lap lanes, a dive pool, an 18 & over pool (yay), and a kiddie pool with fountain. This afternoon, the pool is almost exclusively adults since kids aren't yet home. I scored one of the tables w/an umbrella next to a pair of lounge chairs. My friend and I have the best of both sun and shade. The pools and grounds are meticulously maintained providing a gorgeous surrounding to relax. There's plenty of parking and the front gate folks are friendly. A snack bar has treats close at hand, but I haven't ventured over to it yet. I imagine this place is hopping in the peak summer months especially being in the middle of a large, planned community with apartments on several sides. For today, this public pool feels like a private club. I'll definitely be back!

I only discovered this place last summer, and have been back a couple of times since. It is in a mainly residential neighborhood and feels like you are in the middle of a park. They have 3 different pools: a main lap sized pool, a kiddie pool, and an adults only pool (my favorite). They also have loads of lounging chairs which is a huge plus to me. I mainly go to pools to lay out and socialize with whoever I am there with! Plainview has a concession stand as well, though I have not bought anything from it. They allow you to come in and out as you please during that same day too. I like that because sometimes I may want to go grab a bite to eat and come back. :)
