I rented a steer skid and auger attachment for a day to be delivered on Sat. at 9:00am and to be picked up on Sun. at 9:00 am (very clear on my paperwork and from the calls with Don and the guy who dropped the rental off). I attached the section of the invoice that shows the pickup date to the review and just blocked out personal details. On Sunday they did not pick it up by 10am, so I called them and the phone just rang and rang with no answer and no answering machine. I tried to call over 12 times from 10-3:00 pm and all I got was a phone that rang and never answered. Finally, I called and left a message at their algonquin location since they at least had an answering machine. Then on Monday the manager Harley called me to see how long I wanted to keep the rental and I told him it was supposed to be picked up yesterday and I tried calling even though I never was told I had to and he wouldn't even let me speak before he started berating me. He said I never called, and they told me I had to call even though I did but no one answered. He just kept yelling at me and said he was just going to charge me for the extra day the $600 and said I was banned for life. He even changed my invoice to show the pickup day on the copy I signed from Sunday to Monday. When the guy picked up the unit he even said they were supposed to pick it up on Sunday. I will fight this with my credit card company but he essentially charged my debit card without permission and fraudulently. I would stay away and use anyone else unless you want to deal with this unreputable business. Please read the other negative reviews...I wish I would have.

The equipment was in great shape, the prices were fair, and the people there were super helpful showing me how to use everything. Definitely made the job a lot easier. I'd rent from them again without hesitation.

This was the second time I rented large power equipment from BI Rental, and was even a better…read moreexperience than four years ago because when the scissor lift was delivered, the deliveryman helped me determine very quickly that it was absolutely not the right equipment for what I wanted to do, and he immediately took it back and brought out the correct equipment, which was a Niftylift self-drive boom lift. I just had to pay the difference between the two rentals, and the bucket boom was fantastic, and allowed me to safely and easily do a lot of tree trimming and repair work that would have been incredibly dangerous with a ladder or on the roof. The delivery cost was more than reasonable and saved me a large amount of time. After the deliveryman spent ten minutes running me through the operation, it took me about twenty minutes on my own to get comfortable with the equipment. It more than paid for itself by saving me either hospital and insurance costs, or funerary expenses on my family's part. Just as with last time, the staff at BI Rental are all about efficiency and making sure the customer gets the greatest value out of their rental.

Here's what happened: We purchased a 2011 Toyota forklift and we were promised two weeks delivery after we paid for it but after six weeks of lying to us claiming the reason behind the delay is because they check each forklift thoroughly before they deliver it and make sure everything is in good condition. However, what we received was a piece of junk. The engine has rattling noise. The transmission is leaking. The cooling system is leaking. The breaks are extremely bad. It takes about 30 seconds to start it and the battery almost dies each time. The hydraulic system is so bad, it takes a very long time moving the forks up even with the foot all the way down on the gas pedal. MOST IMPORTANTLY, one of the pictures we asked for before purchase was of the odometer and it showed 3906.7 hours but when we got the forklift the odometer on it showed 1.8 hours only. This was the final straw for us. Attempting to defraud us with fake hours is not just morally and legally wrong, but an insult to our intelligence. We have compiled all the evidence to move forward with a case. As I've stated, we are on a mission to make sure this company can no longer defraud Americans. If you've been impacted by these fraudsters, please reach out to us and we will take it from there. This will be at NO COST to you, as we are suing them for all attorney fees as well.

What can i say, other than i should have done my research before buying from these guys. I've never…read moredealt with a group of people more full of ..... like these guys. I financed a forklift from them, paid the deposit and signed the papers, One month later I still don't have my forklift and they keep giving me the run down that their "service department" is getting the forklift ready. Which raises the question, if their forklifts aren't in sellable conditions why even list them? These guys are scammers and I am currently working with other people/Companies who have gone through the same scenario with these guys to put a lawsuit against them. They have met their match!!, I will spend whatever I need to spend too to make an example out of these guys!
