Did everything they could to get our mini bike up and running! Honest and trust worthy. Very fair. A+ for Kyle and the staff at Halloran.

Since big box couldn't help me ( why I prefer a dealer!) I knew I could go to here to have them take a look.

I called Greg's about repairing a broken front-wheel drive cable on a Toro Recycler. I was told over the phone it could be repaired and that it was a simple fix. When I got the mower back nearly three weeks later, I was hit with a bill for $310 and change, more than half the cost of a new mower, same make and model. The bill included several miscellaneous charges that I never authorized. Nor was I ever contacted about whether I wanted those additional services performed. The additional charges: oil change, new spark plug, air filter, blade sharpening, and new wheels. When I take my car into be serviced for one problem and the mechanic finds an additional problem, I am contacted and asked whether I want the additional work performed, and I get a cost estimate. No assumptions are made about what I am willing to pay for. In this case, if I had known the total cost of the repairs to be done, I would've declined having them done and looked into a new mower. Granted, Greg's did reduce the bill by $50 after I expressed my displeasure with their lack of professionalism, but the repair costs are still slightly more than half the price of a new mower. When using Greg's be sure to get a cost estimate up front and spell out the work to be done.

I took a chance and stopped in to Greg's for a second opinion. He shook my hand and said he'd have a look. He did look and said yep .. damaged the scrapper bar and the paddles but he could fix it. One day later his staff person calls to say it is done and they delivered to my home. Just in time for the next snow. Run's like new now. Thanks for saving me from tossing out a working blower!

I don't write reviews, but I find it hard to simply let this one go…read more This past summer (May 2025) the belt on my self propelled lawnmower broke. I was planning on fixing it myself, so I mowed the lawn without it a couple times. After a few days I thought, what the heck, I'll have someone fix it and give it a tune up while it there. It was an old mower, but it was still running. I brought it to this place. They told me $60 for diagnostics, and will call me 3-7 days. On the 7th day I heard nothing so I called to inquire an hour before they closed. The guy on the phone read off a bunch notes from the mechanic. Jargon I couldn't make heads or tails of and said they couldn't fix it. I thought he was talking about the belt and I asked if I can still cut my grass. He said it doesn't run, even thou it was running when I brought it in. Just wouldn't self propel. I said I will be in, in a couple days to pick up my mower. When I got there the guy behind the desk pulled my file all he said was, "oh, a yellow tag (whatever the hell kinda code that is). They weren't able to fix it?" I guess not, I said. He read the notes and things got quiet. I didn't get any explanation from this guy about what happened. The air about it all felt a bit suspect. Then they brought my mower out and I can see why it wasn't running anymore. It was literally destroyed and rolled out to me in pieces. I was so taken aback by what they rolled out in front of me that I couldn't even open my mouth to ask what happened. I seriously regret not opening my mouth about how I felt about them right there. To finish off the humiliation, a mechanic came to help load it into my crossover. Still had their dirty rags on it, I asked him "is it leaking?" He said "probably" I told him to take his dirty rags and insisted on some plastic to protect my car from that leaking oil before loading it. If you're reading this, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! These guys are worse than amateurs when it comes to customer service. I seriously don't think they even know what that term means. Yeah, it was an old mower, but I wish I had tried to fix it myself and not gone through this humiliation for a belt. I spent $60, waited a week, had to call back myself after a week to find out my mower doesn't work anymore and see it roll out to me in pieces. Never left a place of business feeling so sh't on before in my life.
