This is my local Ralph's. It generally has everything I need all under one roof. I understand the ratings for this Ralphs is low due to the location the store is at. The neighborhood is tough and hood. There is plenty parking well, they have a huge parking lot that tends to get packed on some days. Back to Ralph's inside the store. I rarely come into this store and see any empty shelves. Everything is in it's place stocked well. If you need help there is always someone around to ask. Even the vendors try helping out if they can. The fresh fruits and salads are my main area I go to. They tend to have salads available for 3 for $12.00 I always stock up on those. They tend to have a variety that I like. The one thing they run out of often is Milos sugar free tea at $4.99 or even when they go on sale they still seem to from time to time run out of stock. Lastly they have security guards in the front entrance of market and one or two outside. read more

Unfortunately I have officially given up on this location. I really can't handle the deficiencies of the products ordered online anymore. I also can't put up with the fact that you're charged the moment you receive your pick-up only to walk away not having everything you paid for. One of the team members brought my order to the car and stated that they had everything I ordered. After the good drive home, I discovered that not one item but two was missing. I didn't understand. I looked over the virtual receipt and it stated I was charged for the items, yet they weren't bagged. When I thought about what I went through just to receive my pickup I really didn't have the motivation to drive all the way back for two items. The parking spaces that are dedicated to pickups were taken up. You can't and shouldn't park in the fire lane that right in front of the entrance although that would be very convenient to wait for your order. So I drove around and around until just about the time a team member came out to deliver someone else's groceries. I just can't do this location anymore. From setting up a bunch of substituted because their either out or low on products to not receiving all the items I paid for is a bit much. read more

It is ridiculous that I shop in the store and they are having a sewage issue and the entire store is like human shit. Almost every customer shopping had their hand over their face or their face in their shirt like I and I almost passed out because I could not breathe. My biggest that the employees had to work an eight hour shift smelling shit all day all the employees that are at work need to file a grievance because that is a union job and there is no way that store should be smelling like that and it's still open to the public and the workers. And then on top of having to smell shit while I was shopping, it had to be 45° in there freezing cold. I am so disappointed in the store because for one they are extremely high as hell and then you have the nerves to make me shop smell of shit and I almost throwing up. This Ralph's is located in the hood...for people who may not know what the hood means, let me tell you - the hood can be in any city and it stands for the bad part of a neighborhood. They've remodeled this grocery store about a year ago and it has gone from bad to worse..."in my opinion." There used to be two store entrances and exits now there is only one way in and one way out!!! Most of the simple items like toothpaste are under lock & key you must buzz someone to open the cabinet to give you access to these items. There are about six cash registers with only two being opened at any given time...it doesn't seem to matter how long lines are. The lines get so long that they over-lap into the Starbuck lines, it becomes a congested mess! They've taken away parking spaces which has made parking an irritating challenge. There is a bakery and deli plus they've added a Starbuck's. I try my very best not come to this particular Ralph's, I only come if I need a couple of items only. I will drive past this store to go to one in another area. On a positive note a lot of the staff are very friendly. read more

I love Ralph's but this location is absolutely horrible. The worst I've ever seen! The parking lot is as disaster with cars parked on the fire lane all the time. Why is this allowed day after day I don't know. The store inside is a cluster F*¥*, the checkout lines are long, the clientele pretends to not know the meaning of express lane with 15 items or less. No structure no respect. I've never had a bad experience with the employees but everything else here is below average. I guess it's the clientele and it sucks because this is my neighborhood. I still have problem with this store with the latest being these hyper agressive / hella annoying Spectrum sales people. Everytime I come in I have to tell these people no one, twice, three times a lady.......lol. You pass theme the first time by produce and say no then you have to pass them again while heading to the check out line and tell the no again. Be wary of this Ralphs. I'm often charged more than the advertised price for items. Yesterday there was a big bin of strawberries with a sign that said $2.49 each, when I checked my receipt I found that they charged me $6.99!! Also, Kroger brand sliced cheese was marked "$2.99 if you buy 3 or more", I bought 3 and found on my receipt that they charged me $3.49 each. This is not the first time I've found these discrepancies, it seems commonplace for this location. I've decided to shop elsewhere even though this is the store closest to me. I finally come back today to see the finished remodeled place. The good: its finally clean inside. Freezer sections are clean. Deli section is clean. Meat section is clean. Eggs are in new closed fridge and are clean. There is a new clean floor. New self check out is nice and clean. New shopping carts are clean. There is a starbucks for people who like that stuff. Its nice and clean. Notice how the prevalent good things are the cleanliness of the store. That should be standard for any store. The bad and ugly: Store seemed to have focused primarily on thwarting and preventing shoplifting. As a result, everyone is treated like a potential criminal. Cameras installed are noticeably every where. Security watches like a hawk. There is an entire aisle full of locked cages. Shampoo. Deodorant. Toothpaste. Liqud hand soap. Lotion. ALL LOCKED UP IN A CAGE. If you need these items, buzz for personnel and wait indefinitely. When he or she finally arrives, you must disclose which check out you will go so they can meet you up there lol. No, he or she will not allow you to put some 99 cent toothbrush in your cart. After all, this store treats all of its customers like potential shoplifters. What if i only came to this damn store to buy 5 items thats locked in a stupid cage? I would go stand in line with nothing. Then wait for ralphs personnel to bring over my five items. This location closed off their 2nd entrance/exit. One way in. One way out. Im sure they fired or got rid of a lot of cashiers. This area is so tiny. I got in line. Line stretched all the way to the meat section. Most people were just standing in one line. They didnt even no that there were separate lines. Personnel didnt say anything. I just got in front of most people and went straight to self check out. Computers are all new. Self checkout is a breeze once you access it. Im not sure why this store got rid of a lot of old personnel. Customer service has taken a turn for the worse. I couldnt find a single store personnel on any aisle. I bet if some thief picked up an item and put it in his or her pocket, he or she would've had store personnel responded immediately Bottom line, Ill stick to a traditional ralphs store. Walk in Ralph's ask manager standing in the pay your self machine and ask if it can give cash back . He said yes go ahead . I purchased a chocolate and pay for it but didn't give option for cash back , I ask the same manager what button should I press. He said " I don't know " . I told him " you don't know your POS" . Now I went to the register line and purchase a second chocolate , I befriended the customer in from of me and she was explaining that the Pat your self machine does not distribute ash back , afterwards it's my turn before anything I said the cashier yell at me " are you going to get cash back !!? Worst Ralph's ever. If I could give zero stars, I would! I ordered food and a cake for my five year olds birthday party. They have the option to order online so we did that. Come the day of the party the didn't have my food ready they claimed they had a power outage and lied and said they called me to notify me. Which they NEVER did. So we went to g t the cake next, according to them they didn't have my cake order on their list. Mind you, I had both confirmation emails for my orders! Their excuse was our manager is the one that takes care of that and she hasn't been here for a couple of days. What kind of excuse is that? You guys really need to get it together and have someone check online orders, if not remove that option cuz clearly you guys are not capable of working through the internet! This is the Ralph's in my neighborhood so it is very disappointing for the full staff including management to be total slackers. There is always something whenever I encounter this location. ROTTEN FOOD On two separate occasions I have purchased frozen shrimp (within the packages' expiration dates) and when I opened them, they smelled rotten. Just recently I purchased chicken breast, again, the date was not expired, but it smelled rotten! If it weren't for me not keeping receipts and throwing these items into my freezer until I'm ready to cook, trust me I'd be in their counter with this rotten meat asking for my money back! We are in the middle of a Pandemic and the manager and most of the staff are not wearing their mask correctly. Some cover their chins only or only their mouths leaving the nose exposed. This store is in a higher risk community area for Covid. Ralfs should be doing their best to protect the staff and community. read more

The produce guy was very polite and helpful, however, the check out lines are a COVID nightmare. There's no social distancing and the staff "helping" at the self check out line was wearing a mask on her chin. Unfortunately this is the closest market to me, but I definitely prefer to drive further away for a safer experience. read more

I'm totally a grocery store snob. I like to have full shelves, friendly faces and organization. The first time I came to this Ralphs it was ABSOLUTELY THEE WORST store I had been to. When I walked in the smell of urine should have deterred me. But for whatever reason I scrunched my nose up and pushed my basket on. As I was shopping normal things I get were not available, and I didn't dare to ask for fancy cheese as I looked at the 2 selections of cheese they had. Unless you wanted tacos, no other cheese was available. Shortly after I saw this store highlighted on social media and other news outlets as being a let down to the community. I could only watch in agreement. With all of the spotlight on them with community complaints the Ralph's corporation did a remodel to the store that was much needed. I had the pleasure of shopping at this store a few days ago and the change is beautiful! New floors, shelves and everything. The store is well organized and the workers absolutely were friendly and willing to help. Smiles at the registers, and even from the folks cleaning the store. The grocery packer at the register was even kind enough to ask me if I wanted help to my car. I was so excited about the service I almost said yes. :-) I'm very glad this community has been heard and is able to have a new and nice store. The only thing that didn't make this a five star experience were the lines and register setup. There are very few registers, and the way they are set up will cause a huge cluster during busy times. In addition even at the time I was there, there were not enough cashiers to help. By the way I haven't checked out the cheese selection, I will the next time I am in the area ;-) read more

Today I had the worst experience of my life in a store then I've been going to for over 20 years. As I was putting my groceries on the counter to pay, the cashier named " Taniqua J. " shouted at me and said "NO" and pushed my groceries of the counter to the ground. She told me I needed to keep my distance from the other custome who was as bout 8 feet away from me and was leaving. I felt embarrassed, disrespected and I started crying from the rudeness this person used towards me. I asked to speak to a manager and other employees told me that this has been going on for some time and the managers have done nothing. Yay!!! The remodel looks amazing! However, today the store was a mess! There was a dirty mop sitting unattended by the produce section, dirty napkins in a couple of places, and a dirty floor. The frozen section looks like these freezers have never been defrosted and cleaned since 1982. And I won't start with the meat section, or the entrances that look like the only time they get washed down is when it rains. Or the 120 baskets consuming parking spaces!! Tonight I went to Ralph's grocery store as I always do on Manchester and Western . I walked in to Get the electric shopping cart I was then approached by the store security officer and says to me " you handicap, you handi cap, this for handicap " I said to the man you never question an individual about their handicap. This is very innaproaite to question someone about their disability. I shop at this store frequently as the most of the staff they know me. They have seen me come in the store with all types of devices for my disability. No one working in the public should display this type fo conduct. I am rightfully offended and embarrassed for having to shout out my disability in the front of the door. This security guard didn't speak good English and I couldn't understand his English. So he had to keep repeating his self . So now him raising his voice I'm levit I know that this is not Ralph's policy to mistreat the handicap customers, however, if this was the West L.A. store surely this behavior is definitely not acceptable in no manner. ***Update: I stopped in yesterday against my better judgment. I'm in line and the credit machine says processing so I can't enter my rewards club number. The cashier then does something and says "okay, go ahead". I enter my rewards number, put my card in and enter my pin. Once the transaction completes I notice my bill is more than what I calculated in my head. So of course I look at the receipt to see if some of the prices were incorrect. Nope, it was worse!!! He rang up the previous customer's bill AND my bill on the same transaction!!!! I was beyond livid, but I kept my cool and explained what was going on. He seemed like he already knew because he just took my word for it. He underlined a few items (about 5) and said he would refund the money, but there were several items ( about 20) that didn't belong to me. Even while performing the refund transaction he was making errors: missing items, ringing up new items. It was just a mess. I really dislike this location. They updated the look of the store but the service has gone down. AND there is one door for entering and exiting the store!!!! Talk about a safety hazard. Let me start off by saying that the workers here are FANTASTIC!!! They are absolutely wonderful. The problem here is the lack of variety. The organic selection is paltry. I mean seriously, it's the tiniest selection of everything: meat, veggies, fruits, just everything. It's so disappointing. I hate that I have to drive to other cities/neighborhoods to get quality food. One thing that disturbed me today was that there was OLD organic ground turkey on the shelf still. It was brown and one area of the shelf stunk, actually stunk. The store needs a major interior overhaul, it's literally the only Ralph's I've been in that still has those gross linoleum floors.
