There was bed bugs in the beds. My family and I got bit so bad. Plus the ace was so loud we where uncomfortable . This place is siblings with motel 6. Would not recommend this place for a small or big family.

I travel frequently. I look for clean rooms. This hotel met my expectations. Free safe secured parking in Los Angeles means a lot which this hotel delivered. When I search for hotels, I disregard reviews if based on isolated incidents. I am glad that I overlooked those nonsense low reviews and stayed at this hotel. You Will too.

The rooms were very nice. Our room was very clean. The beds were ok, but too hard. The thing I didn't like was how noisy it was!! The walls are so thin. The upstairs people checked in about 11 PM they were pounding on I don't know what, I heard them walking back and forth.. We heard people talking in the hallways as they went by. Our room was by the elevator, so I heard it dinging all night long.

Better have listed no breakfast rather than saying you offer it so guests are better prepared.

Nice place for a meeting. We have our quarterly meetings there for my company and it's good for what it is.

I'm writing this review because I was not pleased with how a guest was treated at your hotel business today. We send our friends, family, and clients to stay at the location due to its convenient location to our business. After today's experience, which was the complete opposite of hospitality, we will no longer be staying with SpringHill Marriot on San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank. Has hospitality in the hospitality industry ended or something? Since when do we make hotel guests (who like to tip) hunt down and fetch their own luggage cart without offering assistance, let alone help locating cart? The guest, who is arthritic, called to ask for a luggage cart to her hotel room, was told to go find a cart no one was available to bring a luggage cart to her room. The guest just wanted to be able to check out & felt embarrassed trying to locate a luggage while hotel employees watched on and did not offer help. The woman Cara at the front desk could not be bothered to help either. I will Also mention that when we booked this reservation,,whoever took the information down on the hotels end did not properly enter the reservation into the hotel system. So our guests Check in ALSO did not go smoothly. We had to get that fixed as well. More time wasted. I rarely write a bad review on Yelp but I strongly feel it is necessary this time. Very unfortunate experience today at your not very hospitable hotel.

We came Aug 1 and 2 (2026) during summer break to go to universal studios and the hallway was quiet and we couldn't hear anyone else. Not sure if we got lucky or what but that was a pro. Parking is easy because they have their own garage, though you'll pay for it ($18 a night or something). Biggest miss was the food/restaurant. We had prepaid for breakfast (via hotels.com) and It wasn't clear what that included. Even after checking in there was no clarity. Only when we were in front of the cashier at the restaurant did we learn the following: - Limited to "the Burbank breakfast" for adults - you can get something else on the menu by adding money. - Burbank breakfast includes a coffee but when we asked for the coffee but she said it was too late... we needed to order it (I didn't explicitly say "I want the coffee" when I asked for the Burbank breakfast. - kids can get 1 of 2 items from the breakfast menu and they are both inadequate for any human older than 4. (2 scrambled eggs OR a pancake)... wtf... definitely not enough for my 9yr old boy. - we never got a "text" that authorized us to go eat breakfast so we had to talk to the front desk. Even then we got a text for 1 room (we had 2 rooms) so we had to "charge it to the room". Also... the food sucks. Sausage tastes weird. Pancakes have a tough texture. Eggs are fine. I want my breakfast prepayment back.

‼ WARNING We booked through Expedia using a pay-later option…read moreto split the cost between two cards, which the app explicitly allowed. At check-in, the front desk told us they just needed a card on file for parking and the deposit. No total ever showed on the screen before we authorized the charge, so we had no way of knowing what was actually being run. Turns out the full cost of the stay was charged to that one card, completely bypassing the payment setup we'd arranged through Expedia. My girlfriend ended up covering the entire stay on her card without ever agreeing to that. We called and spoke with the manager, Dennis, who was polite on the phone and actually agreed the experience wasn't handled well. He offered a discount, but that's not really compensation when money was already taken without us being told the real total. When we asked for something more reasonable given the stress this caused, he went quiet for over a week, then emailed back saying an internal "investigation" confirmed staff followed proper procedure, and that we should contact Expedia if we had concerns. The room itself was fine, that's not the issue. The issue is transparency at check-in. If you're booking this place through a third-party app, ask for a written total before handing over any card, because what's on the screen (or not on the screen) may not match what gets charged

The clerk wasn't outright rude, but for the first several minutes seemed pretentious, like I wasn't good enough to stay there. He didn't introduce himself or ask my name; I introduced myself and asked his name after check-in, and he warmed up a bit. It felt like I'd caught him doing something wrong or arrived before he was ready. I had to ask multiple questions because he didn't offer information or engage. My customer service was on point--his, not so much. I'd been driving all day and was exhausted, wearing very casual clothes, but he felt very judgey. I asked to see the rooms after reading reviews. The first was rundown and not worth the $150 he quoted. He kept going into the back office between questions, implying he was busy or nearly full (there was only one car outside). When I asked to see the other side of the hotel, which had allegedly been updated, he bragged about being fully booked, though I only ever saw three cars. Odd. The second room was just okay, but I was too tired to find another hotel, so I stayed one night. Few things frustrate me more than visible neglect and lack of detail. There were drywall screw heads popping out, scuffed walls, holes, and water-damaged bathroom drywall from a poorly placed glass shower door--crumbling onto the floor. The floor itself was dirty. The outer entry door was peeling badly, shedding bits of clear coating onto the floor and my hands. The blinds appeared to not have been cleaned in months--which should be done regularly. The bed frame was filthy--dust, debris, bits of wrappers and food. It was clearly dirty, with oils, handprints, and dried liquids (I'll leave that to your imagination). The closet doors, off-white, had visible hand grime. The disinfectant wipes I used were brown - yuck. The lamp was dusty, an outlet near the bed had a broken metal piece stuck inside, and both the bathroom vent and hair dryer were caked with dust. The dryer filter hadn't been cleaned in ages. The countertop above the mini fridge was detaching, the bathroom shelf was decaying, and the shower glass hadn't been cleaned. The creamy drip marks on the wall--hopefully conditioner or soap--remained, and the grout was mold-stained. A simple bleach spray would've fixed it. The shower water pressure was awful, with calcification that needs vinegar soaking. It also leaked from the stem. Meanwhile, the sink had too much pressure. The cleaning staff were wonderful--always offering help. The issues here clearly stem from management, not staff. I realize this isn't a four-star hotel and that my standards are higher than average. Having worked in property management and emergency response, I've been in many homes across all conditions and know what "clean" should look like. I attached photos (which don't even capture all of it) so others can decide for themselves. Public beds and showers should be cleaned frequently so dust, germs, and bugs don't build up. The initial clerk did warm up by the end, and wasn't outright rude, just awkward and pretentious at first. When I checked out, a different man was working. He was extremely pushy, insisting I stay longer despite me saying I had to get back on the road. Then he handed me a clipboard and said it was mandatory to fill out--a sheet listing my name, room number, and space for comments, stacked under previous guests' notes. I told him I'd review the hotel online instead. He insisted I fill in each section, so under "comments" I wrote "review on Yelp." Other than being pushy, he was friendly--but it was an annoying end to a stay that wasn't worth the cost. Not the worst stay I've had, but definitely not one I'd repeat.

The staff went out of their way to help us, which made a tough time a little easier. I ended up working most days from a cozy booth in the lobby, complete with my own TV so I could keep an eye on the nonstop fire news. Amarano cured me of that in the LA area. There's simply no reason to look. Best in the area by a mile, and the mile is not close. It works for everything. Passing through on the way to somewhere else. Camped out for Universal and the tourist machinery parked on its doorstep. Or running broader Valley and LA operations from a room that actually lets you sleep before the next day's campaign. It flexes to whatever you need it to be. The design gets the balance right, which almost nobody does. Just enough old Hollywood kitsch to nod at where it's standing, and modern in every way that matters once you're actually trying to enjoy the room. It respects the history without cosplaying it. The staff are the thing, though. In a town that treats service as an inconvenience, these people are genuinely, unsettlingly good at it. The bar is a real bar. The food is perfectly acceptable, which in this context reads as a miracle. The valet knows what they are doing.
