    Ants all over the bed

There are ants crawling over this place. If they are not spraying for ants, I wonder what else is crawling around here. Also I booked a noon check in as a Rewards member. When I came to check in the Attitude at the desk told me That check in was at 3pm, member or not. When I went to get coffee this morning it was empty. When I told the girl at the desk she just shrugged and looked at me like "So what?". Spring Hill Suites are typically good places to stay but that depends on the workers and the workers here clearly don't care about the guests.

I am not sure how old this hotel is but it is absolutely beautiful. In the midst of a pandemic I needed to get out of town to do some work for a day and I always support Marriott hotels. The check in process was very simple, they had social distancing tags on the floor, they had a sign on the entrance that masks were required, there was a plate glass separation partition between myself and the front desk worker, and there were lots of stand up containers of hand sanitizer. The young lady that checked me in was awesome, she gave me a room on the first floor and I had requested a room that hadn't been used for a few days just an extra piece of precaution. The check in process was quick and effective. The room was very clean, very very clean and I would definitely recommend this hotel to a single person, couple, even a family as there is a nice pull out couch.

Check-in Process: Simple, Booked the Room through Expedia…read morelast minute as one of the other hotels we had originally booked had issues in their recent reviews. The staff was extremely friendly and Helpful. Bathroom: Good - Decent Size single sink plenty of counter space, In the shower the soap and shampoo dispensers are refillable which makes using it easy. The shower itself was very large comparably to other hotels and the GLASS doors are a nice touch compared to the usual crap curtains. Bad - No Complaints this was a great bathroom. Bedroom: Good - Comfortable Beds, Has mini Fridge and a Desk along with a trash can. Plenty of outlets available on both sides of both queen beds which was great. Internet was included and worked great. They also gave 3 pillows which is great they weren't the marshmallow soft ones which was also a plus. Bad - It is right off the freeway so of course there is some freeway noise. Our room 426 had a parking lot light that was EXTREMELY bright, luckily the curtains blocked most of the light but just wanted to call it out. Parking: Parking was free and is located directly in front and behind the hotel this is not a issue at all.Its connected to TGI Fridays so there is overflow there as well. Room Cleaning: Room was cleaned as we left for the day as expected. Only weird thing was that they didn't actually make the bed, not sure if that's a policy or not but everything else was done as expected. Perks: TONS... Coffee, Tea, Soda Machines available 24hrs a day! A hot breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels included. Drinks and snacks in the evening awesome. Gym and Pool were available although we didn't use them. Room Overall: Room, 2 Queen Beds Priced at $142.00 a night I dont think there is any hotel in the area this clean and full of perks. A good value! Area recommendations: Walmart is close by if anything is needed or forgotten TGIFRIDAYS right next door If you happen to be in Columbia, visiting your kid at Mizzou or any other college nearby this is a GREAT choice! Ever hear of a hotel that did not change their sheets? Yeah…read more I was shocked when it happened to me! When we checked in, and we went to our room it was clear that the linens on my queen bed had not been changed. There were wrinkles in the pillowcase fabric where a head would have rested. There was some kind of nastiness on the top sheet! Snot? Or what? That day the movers had come, and then I thoroughly cleaned the entire house for the buyers' walk-through the next day. It was late and I had been steady working 13 hours. I threw the sheet in the bathroom and threw the pillows on the floor. I slept on the in-between cover. I was so exhausted I never said a word because I wanted my husband to get some rest. But guess what? I will never go back!

It was so perfect that I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be or where I wanted to go. My room was on the sixth floor and faced Broadway. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. I loved the pillows and will most likely be ordering the same brand for my home. The room had a closet that stored a full size ironing board and iron. It also had a small icebox and a safe for valuables. There was also an easy chair for relaxing and reading. The television was huge and had a personalized message welcoming me, as a Hilton Rewards member. The bathroom had a walk in shower and full sized bottles of toiletries attached to the shower wall. Having a walk-in shower at home, I greatly appreciated this. The bathroom was also a good size. Most hotel bathrooms make me feel claustrophobic, but not this one. Their cleaning staff was prompt and efficient. I love coming back to a straightened room, a made bed and fresh towels. That is all part of vacation experience. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. They made both my check-in and out, very smooth and easy. There's a parking garage next door and I recommend paying for the daily park yourself. You'll not only save $'s, but you wont have to wait for the valet to fetch your ride. When I come back to Columbia for an overnight visit, I'll be staying here again.

3410 Clark Lane, Columbia, MO…read more This property presents serious and systemic sanitation concerns that create an environment best described as unsafe, unsanitary, and profoundly misrepresented. Based on multiple direct observations throughout the facility, I cannot recommend this location under any circumstances. The most alarming issue is the pervasive lack of cleanliness and hygiene across both private and shared spaces. Upon arrival, the hallway immediately conveyed a strong odor consistent with wet animals and bodily activity, setting the tone for what followed. Directly across from our assigned room, a door was left open to a unit that appeared to be in the process of being "aired out," with laundry bins and soiled contents visible--an unmistakable indication of unresolved cleanliness issues. Inside our own room, further evidence reinforced this pattern. The ceiling showed visible signs of water damage and permeation. Basic fixtures were either broken or incomplete, including missing or nonfunctional toiletry dispensers. When we requested body wash, it was not provided through proper amenities but instead handed over in a separate bottle, suggesting improvised rather than maintained standards. The sanitation concerns extended beyond the room into the hotel's shared amenities. The swimming pool was visibly unclean, and I personally removed debris from the skimmers, including dead insects and hair clippings. The Jacuzzi was in a severely compromised state--its water so opaque and milky that the bottom was not visible, raising immediate concerns about filtration and safety. Outdoor areas, while visually promising at a distance, proved equally neglected upon closer inspection. Seating areas were covered in spiderwebs and debris, and the surrounding grounds contained cigarette waste embedded in the landscaping. The entire exterior environment carried a stale, ashtray-like odor, making it unsuitable even for brief use. Attempts to utilize the space for a simple yoga practice were abandoned due to these conditions. Compounding these issues was a mismatch between advertised amenities and actual service. Despite references to hospitality benefits, basic items such as bottled water were not included and required additional payment. Even the so-called "complimentary" breakfast, which had effectively been prepaid under a nonrefundable rate, felt questionable to consume given the overall state of cleanliness. Taken together, these observations point to a pattern of neglect that goes beyond isolated oversight. The condition of this property raises legitimate concerns about health, safety, and basic operational standards. Travelers should exercise extreme caution when considering this location.

Separate living / entertaining room and about a 30 x 20 bedroom and huge bathroom. Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, auto blinds and a few other perks. Location is great as is Glen's Cafe (fabulous wine list) and all the bars inside. Room service was prompt and delicious. Reminds me a bit of McMenamins Bar/Hotels around Portland, OR. I did valet car because $25/day is a steal compared to any other hotel I've stayed and parking around the area is very challenging. I would definitely stay again minus the ridiculous cost.

I go to the front desk and mention this to the woman at the desk and she ask ME to do some troubleshooting with the thermostat and give it about 45 minutes to correct itself. I asked the same woman at the front desk could I have an extra blanket or sheet because my wife is really cold. Her response was " we dont have any extra blankets because its graduation week and all our linen is taken for the rooms occupied and we only have sheets for queen beds and we cant give that to you because you have a king bed" My response was she wants it to wrap around herself and I was still denied by the front desk. Well i wait the time and go back to the front desk and speak with Mathew, not only did he get my wife and extra small blanket, but he came to the room to see what the problem was and has soon as he walked in, he noticed how cold the room was. He called maintenance and someone came out and said there was something going on with the unit and he went to investigate, guy came to the room and told me it was fixed but he wanted to check something and would come back to my room to assure me that everything was fine. We he never did and my room was still cold, I talked to the new front desk person and he said he could see the room wasnt heating up and he was sorry Well I guess the room got to 78 degrees around 3am because when I woke up the front desk person said he could see when the heat starting working. Justin the new desk manager knew of the problem and said he was sorry and that he would talk to someone to see if he could throw in 1K points for my trouble. The hotel response has been terrible. They offer breakfast from 7-10am. We went down at 8:45 and there were empty cereal bins, warming trays, fruit bins.
