Instructions for parking change without your knowledge and if you don't comply you get a ticket from the security service they hired. If any repair is necessary in the unit (initiated by MF) you get a warning 3 business days before, informing you that if you do not provide your keys, the door will be opened with the help of a locksmith (and for sure "Any charges for a locksmith to open your doors will be charged back to you.") They have been notified that garbage keeps lying around and attracts skunks - nothing was done about it. I am seriously wondering what the condominium fee is for. In addition, depending on which property manager is responsible for your unit, you also get a very unfriendly treatment (if you get a reply that is...).

I replied to an ad on Kijiji for an apartment in Cornwall, Ontario that was managed by this…read morecompany. The ad asked for someone to sublet for the remainder of his lease. Upon visiting the apartment and liking it I went with the tenant to the complex office and filled out some paperwork to get a credit check. They requested a security deposit to open the file and if I was accepted I would have to pay the remained, which would be the first months rent. A week goes by and I finally get a call from the property manager saying I wasn't approved as I did not pass the credit check. I asked to pick up my security deposit (it was a Friday) and was told to pick it up the following Monday. I told the current apartment renter that I was not approved and he would have to find someone else. Upon calling to confirm the property manager was in office the following Monday, I am told that the tenant in the apartment has co-signed for me and I am stuck with the apartment. I am told I must pay the first months rent and take the apartment or forfeit my security deposit. This seems fishy to me so I ask to speak to his manager he gives me a number, she tells me that I am liable no if's and's or but's. She told me that as long as someone cosigned (even without my knowledge) and it was approved I am liable. I ask to speak someone in charge at their head office in Guelph and the woman on the phone gives me a disconnected number. I sent an email to the email listed on their website and 2 days later get a call from the very same woman saying that her head office kicked the problem down to her and that there was no way I was going to go "over her head". There was no way I could have taken the apartment, when they called and declined me I had taken another apartment several blocks away that weekend as I needed a place to stay. I had put down my security deposit there and was relying on getting my security deposit back from Skyline to pay my first months rent. When I told this to the woman on the phone she said she didn't care. She told me there was no possible way I was getting my money back, as long as someone co-signed for me (even some random stranger who just wanted to get rid of his apartment) then it was now my problem. The end result being I had no apartment and went to live with my parents for several months to get back on my feet. Very untrustworthy company, very rude and vulgar customer service skills and management. Would not recommend doing business with this company.

I used Novi Rental Solutions to rent out my house while I was working out of town. I was promised,…read morethey would talk care of finding tenants for a one year lease, the protection of my property and that they would collect rent for me. The tenants left after 8 months without any penalty, the destroyed the house and left behind over $200 worth of garbage that I had to take to the dump and they did not pay $1700 in rent. When I tried to call Novi, they ignored my calls for days and finally just stopped communications completely. I wanted to take the tenants to court but can not because Novi has all their information and is refusing to answer my calls. The tenants are getting aways with no repercussions, not even damage to their credit score. I was never rude to them and very understanding regarding the situation. But this is ridiculous and incredibly unprofessional. So if you are looking for a property manager look somewhere else. And if you are looking to rent a place go right ahead, you will not be held accountable for anything.

Brutal service for the KW area. Deposits & monthly statements were late; accounting was faulty…read morewith questionable/unexplained expenses. Hard to get a hold of, either by myself (owner) or the tenants; voicemails, emails left. Would agree to do something by a certain date, but would still be an issue a week after this certain date; would not acknowledge until again prodded. Forgot to check up to make sure the new tenants assumed utilities under their name and I got charged their utility bill for months; did not find out about this until I got a credit notice for unpaid bills! Still have outstanding revenues unpaid to me by them. Overall they are overpriced & provide horrible service.
