So they didn't try to get them at first because they didn't want to be bothered! This was my second visit with Dr. Barletta. My asking why I had some bad spinal pain met with the words, "because you're old." I am only 70. He blithely told me he's 64! The feature I most dislike in a doctor's office is laziness. He explained that some services must be referred out. He stated he will give me a referral and as long as the facility excepts VA insurance, I can go to that agency. I called a clinic & then the VA & they also confirmed that it was incorrect what Kersten said. The VA sent over how to properly request referring VA patients to other specialty doctors 10Jun. I gave it to clearway portal 11Jun. I received a phone call 23Jun from an unknown facility that stated Kersten gave my privacy information to them so I can make an appointment. I called the VA & they confirmed that Kersten never sent a request for the previous referral 11Jun nor the new referral 23Jun. If I would've went, I would've been stuck with the bill. Kersten has done a disservice with my privacy information, zero communication or follow-up to me , has lied & failure to observe VA protocols. Training to all physicians at Clearway must be accomplished asap for handling veterans.

Dr. S. took so much time with me in talking through the options since my therapy was going to be more of a, "one time deal" as opposed to ongoing therapy for more permanent and pervasive problems. I so appreciated his care. I cannot tell you how much better the experience was because of him. I still had some pain, but the combination of Valium and ketamine made the entire experience almost pleasant with a few stinging moments. You don't know what you are going to walk into when you look online for "pain relief near me," and having been disappointed that my dentist could not offer basic things like Valium I really felt lost and overwhelmed. I always feel heard (which is not something you get from healthcare professionals these days) I experience chronic debilitating pain from several compression spinal fractures and she gets to know you as a person. Not a lot of people have to take opioids, and I've experienced healthcare providers, pharmacists treat you as if you're some addict. I wish all healthcare professionals had even a small amount of compassion that Juliana always shows her. The front desk area has numerous windows but it seems like 1 or maybe 2 sign you in and make appointments..it seems like workflow could use attention. The plastic windows that came from Covid times can make it difficult to hear or be heard by staff, not any fault of the staff. Privacy could be better because if it comes to billing issue etc, it seems like the entire waiting room can hear your financial situation. Billing department is great as I have had to set up payment arrangement and that discussion shouldn't be something the entire waiting room could hear. I guess the physical changes of how the front desk could be angled and off to the side would be better for privacy and confidentiality. (Like the McLean office) I hope this sounds like constructive feedback and by no means any complaint because I simply couldn't function without the amazing treatment that I've received from Juliana and the entire team! Pain was caused by previous surgery done by another practice, that's no longer recommended as doctors and medical professionals have learned. After six months of PT, I was able to avoid this unnecessary surgery. Thanks to Anderson my knee is now properly aligned, and without the cost and pain either. Definitely go here!

One dentist redid a bonding but it looked so terrible I to go elsewhere to get it redone. The office management kept spamming me to make an appointment but then the only availability five months out. They also recently started pushing more unnecessary services, which is expected but still irritating. I will give them credit for not lying about having cavities, which has happened at other dental practices. It is hard to find a good dentist in this area and until a year ago I loved my experiences with this practice. But sadly this is no longer the case and I can't recommend this dental practice.
