All my previous neurologists specialized in other areas and basically just did - what they could - for my migraines which was me trying to figure out what to do, suggesting it, them doing it, and going from there. Dr. Sabet was the first neuro to actually take my migraines seriously and try to figure out how to stop them rather than having me just get through them. Are they gone? No...but I'm back to fully functioning b/c of the efforts she has put into my care. And my body hasn't made that easy - finding meds that work only to have my body reject them later. Dr. Sabet has actually spoiled me by setting what is apparently an impossible bar to meet. I've recently been diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder and finding all the necessary specialists has been tough because only my primary care provider comes close to the attention to detail, professionalism, and true concern for my care that Dr. Sabet provides every single time I see her. As for her staff, I've never had a single problem with any of them. They have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. I cannot complain. I'll close with this, I trust and respect Dr. Sabet so much, that even though I have moved out of the immediate DC area, I still drive over two hours one way to see her for each visit necessary and will continue to do so until I physically just can't. This is an INJECTION clinic. It is NOT a pain management clinic. And I would not recommend…read more 1) Lady at front desk was not helpful, Dr was VERY much unhelpful in helping/aiding, severe, pain relief- or any pain relief. And the office had NO AC on a 90° day. 2) I came to him at referral of my primary and he basically didn't listen to what I said. I said I HAD an orthopedic dr & a neurologist- he told me I needed to get them... 3) I came in for chronic pain and medication management bc my primary care doctor is in the group of drs afraid to give their patients what they need( non-narcotic or narcotic!) and this dr, while nice enough, was basically telling me to see multiple specialists who will in turn send me BACK to pain management! 4) As well as the "school of thought" that WOMEN just need to take an antidepressant and then EVERYTHING will be magically better- ya, ummmm NO! I am about to undergo a third hip surgery in a year- this one a full replacement due to a car accident so I'm pretty F'ing sure an antidepressant won't do shid to help. I am in serious, constant, pain and have done what I am SUPPOSED to do- seen my drs regularly, seen the specialists they want and have the extensive imaging/tests they want and am just wasting my time, money on Lyfts and insurance company $. I used to work in health care, and I can be a very non-compliant patient, but I had also done my homework and had gone to every other specialty before my PCP sent me to Dr. B. Once he told me my diagnosis, it was like I could breathe again. Also, I have been SUPER compliant with my medications, and there is a noticeable difference from day one, and I'm not pain-free, but I am not writhing in pain either, so progress is progress! I'd also like to mention his staff- Vivian and Eli, who are his front desk/billing and medical technician, respectively. They are so kind and respectful and are always willing to listen and answer any questions that I may have. I am thankful to have them all as I learn to live with this new diagnosis, as this is something that I will have to control since it doesn't have a cure. I spoke with Katie who seemed to be the only adult in the store at the time. I saw on the door that each session cost $48, but if you have insurance, it could cost much less.
