I live in PA. I wanted to send a birthday arrangement to my mom in NC. I didn't want to order online because they always send flowers in a box and the recipient must arrange them themselves. I took my chances by just randomly calling around and these are absolutely stunning!!!! A week later and they are still fresh and roses are opening! Well worth it and so happy I chose Rambling Rose! Thank you for making her day!

The Flower Garden - Bouquet and crown (I asked for flowers off to the side)

The Flower Garden

I have worked in the floral industry since 2003, so when I need to send flowers to someone, I am…read morevery particular. I am not fond of FTD, Teleflora or ProFlowers. I far prefer a florist who creates unique and personalized designs. So, when my dear friend tragically and unexpectedly lost her first-born, adult son, I researched florists in Blairesville. I called The Flower Garden and spoke with Leah. She assured me they no longer use the aforementioned floral services, and provided me with a list of flowers to choose from to create a one-of-a-kind arrangement for my friend. She texted me a picture of the arrangement before it went out for delivery, and my friend was so impressed, she sent me a video of the arrangement from all sides! Because I have 15 years of experience in floral design, I feel compelled to reply to some of the negative reviews of The Flower Garden. I read two that referenced disappointment about Mother's Day arrangements. A well-known phrase among florists is "Mother's Day is the Mother of all Holidays". Indeed, it is the absolute busiest time of year for all florists! They prepare in advance, but still have to work excruciatingly long hours, on their feet, with barely a chance to grab a sip of water and a snack. The price of flowers increases, due to supply and demand. Sometimes, they have to send out arrangements on Monday and Tuesday after Mother's Day, if they were unable to reach the recipient in time to honor her in time! NOTE: Florists typically call the recipient ahead of time, to assure that someone will be at home to accept the delivery. It is not their intention to spoil the surprise, believe me! The driver cannot leave the arrangement outside, where it could be stolen or damaged. It is often difficult to find a neighbor who is willing to accept the arrangement on behalf of the recipient, and the cost of fuel to keep returning to the delivery destination until someone is there to accept the arrangement is cost-prohibitive! So, if the person one speaks with anytime around Mother's Day is "curt" or perceived as rude, please take into consideration that person is exhausted! None of us is at our best when we are tired! Thank you, Flower Garden, for your attention to detail in creating a beautiful floral arrangement for my grieving friend!

CALLING OUT "PEACHTREE FLORIST..." - GREG WORLEY, OWNER Our…read morefamily recently lost a loved one and we placed an order for a standing floral spray. Our entire family resides out of state and out of the country , but are from Murphy and have deep roots there, so we chose their services, because we "thought" there was a long standing relationship. Our family has used Peachtree Florist services many years and as most know, small town relationships are usually ones that you can count on in your time of need. We have been loyal customers to the Worley family for over 30 plus years. Sadly, what we experienced last week was just deplorable behavior from Greg, Peachtree Florist's Owner. The Order: After discussing what we wanted, we were sent a photo of the arrangement, the afternoon before the delivery and funeral service. We expressed that the flora design was pretty, however, did not feel that it was reflective of the $200+ that we were spending and asked if we could discuss how we could spruce it up a bit, to enhance the beauty. This question, apparently infuriated Greg, because in the follow up phone call, he WENT BALLISTIC on me. He was very indignant, hostile, loud, irate, unprofessional and downright rude and disrespectful. When I asked why he was so angry, he refused to answer and told us to take our business elsewhere, that he had not charged the credit card and was "cancelling" our order. END OF CONVERSATION!! While we understand that most people have a bad day every now and then, Greg's nasty attitude and disrespectfulness is totally unacceptable. It's loyal customers like us that have kept his families business "in" business all of these many years. When one is spending "their" money, you reserve the right to express your dissatisfaction with any service that is provided. However, the difference is, that most businesses work to try and satisfy the customer in whatever way reasonably possible. Anytime you lose a loved one, it is already a very sensitive and emotional time. So to have someone blatantly "disrespect" their memory by yelling at you with such disdain and hostility, certainly leaves a "sting" that will never be forgotten. SHAME ON YOU GREG WORLEY!! Needless to say, we--nor anyone that we are connected to, will EVER use Peachtree Florist ever again in life. You need to take some anger management and customer relation classes and stop dishonoring your family's name!! Jenny Mauldin O'Dell Lucy Mauldin Raoof

Thank you, N & N, for helping me be a better granddaughter…read more I've ordered from N & N over the phone twice for timely flower deliveries to my grandmother, who lives in the area. In both instances, they delivered gorgeous, quality flowers to the correct address in a timely matter. What more could you ask for? Most recently, they did a SAME DAY delivery for me for Mother's day. I ordered them in the morning, and 3 hours later when I was on the phone with Memaw, they arrived. How's that for timing? And their prices are totally reasonable. With any other service, I would have paid out the wazoo for a same-day delivery. For N & N? The usual price. So happy! Just more evidence it's better to shop local. I'm happy with our partnership so far and will continue to do business with them.

There aren't many choices for fresh flowers in Fannin County and there are even fewer reviews. I…read morewas able to find about 3 florists while searching online and after comparing websites (or lack there of) I decided to contact N & N to handle a bereavement arrangement. Since we were coming from Atlanta for the funeral, I needed the florist to deliver it to the funeral home with instructions that it would go to the church. Not sure if I can blame them for the flowers not making it to the church or cemetery, however I can feel some sort of way for them not getting the names on the card right. They're probably not used to having two men's names on a condolence card, but is it that much of a stretch? Instead of David K & Eddie L it became David, Kae, and Eddie L. COME ON! I was never able to see my arrangement and I can only hope it had the lilies I requested (and none of the carnations I expressly forbid). Oh, the prices on their website are significantly higher than what you'll be quoted if you call them. Delivery was less than $5 and I feel like they were pretty fair considering what I paid.
