The balance and the flowers chosen for this arrangement was well thought out and I just have to say it was outstanding. As a retired FTD florist/ shop owner, I am very critical of arrangements I receive (I never tell the sender). But I am proud to say I did not move a single flower in this arrangement. Before selling my shop and going to work in our other family business (joining my husband), I had four full time designers and two part time. There were four shops in town. Ours stood out thanks to my great staff and a mother who taught me design at age 16. I am telling this long story because it is difficult to pick a shop if you are new, or calling in an order. Got an email 2 days later stating I needed to contact them because the florist didn't have the "orchid" which went in the arrangement! They will get it and send it out. I said you didn't deliver it! I said this is unacceptable. I was assured that this could be delivered. The person on the phone offered me a $20.00 refund. Wow! They were suppose to let me know the day it got delivered! On 4/29, they send me a email asking me to contact them so they can go ahead and deliver the arrangement for 4/29! I sent them an email because at this point, I never received an email stating it was delivered and they were closed by then. I was very upset. This morning I got an email stating that my order was canceled and I will be receiving a refund. POOR BUSINESS ETHICS!!!

However, it was the most local florist to where I wanted flowers sent, so I selected a local florist. Like many flower shops, the website was pretty awful and unhelpful to navigate, but I selected a basket of flowers and paid through the website. Afterwards, I received a pop-up saying I needed to physically call the store to complete the transaction. Well, this basically defeats the entire purpose of using an online system, but 'gotcha!'- there was little choice now that I had already paid for my delivery. The person who picked up told me that she would make a beautiful basket but it wouldn't look exactly like the one in the picture. I said that was fine, but could she send me a picture so that I could see what was sent. She also wanted the code on the back of my credit card, which I had already input online. Next day, I received a voicemail asking for me to call the store again- she had forgotten the code from my card. No big deal - this could happen to anyone - but then I asked when I would get the email with the photo, and she told me she had neglected to take a photo. The person I sent flowers to is unable to send me a picture and is in very poor health. Therefore, I'll never know what I sent- the size, the look, nothing. I was pretty annoyed on the phone, because it seems outrageous to never see what I purchased. I plan to send flowers regularly, so not sure if I will call this florist again. On thinking about it later, I wonder if most of the orders that come in are people from afar who also wants pictures sent in. I am surprised pictures are not taken just as proof, and also to know what was last sent to a client, but I guess without a system for doing this, it could take a lot of extra time to take coordinate taking and sending out photos. However, I wish I had a photo to add to this review!

In both instances, they delivered gorgeous, quality flowers to the correct address in a timely matter. What more could you ask for? Most recently, they did a SAME DAY delivery for me for Mother's day. I ordered them in the morning, and 3 hours later when I was on the phone with Memaw, they arrived. How's that for timing? And their prices are totally reasonable. With any other service, I would have paid out the wazoo for a same-day delivery. For N & N? The usual price. So happy! Just more evidence it's better to shop local. I'm happy with our partnership so far and will continue to do business with them.

Since we were coming from Atlanta for the funeral, I needed the florist to deliver it to the funeral home with instructions that it would go to the church. Not sure if I can blame them for the flowers not making it to the church or cemetery, however I can feel some sort of way for them not getting the names on the card right. They're probably not used to having two men's names on a condolence card, but is it that much of a stretch? Instead of David K & Eddie L it became David, Kae, and Eddie L. COME ON! I was never able to see my arrangement and I can only hope it had the lilies I requested (and none of the carnations I expressly forbid). Oh, the prices on their website are significantly higher than what you'll be quoted if you call them. Delivery was less than $5 and I feel like they were pretty fair considering what I paid.

This is an amazing nursery with many greenhouses of healthy, beautiful and reasonably priced flowers and vegetables. I left with a box of flowers to plant at home. Don't miss it even if you are not into gardening. I have never seen such a well maintained nursery.
