I wound up in Stephanie's office because a trusted adviser of mine, referred me to an attorney whom I'd never heard of, but an attorney who turned out to be--extremely--high-profile. When that attorney couldn't take my case, because of time-constraints, I, literally, begged!, for a referral. They took pity on me and referred me to Stephanie Bandoske's office. What a terrible appointment I expected. Not because of Stephanie, of course, but because I felt like a wuss, as a middle-aged man, sitting in her office, crying like a little baby, over the whole situation. The great thing was that Stephanie just sat there, not saying much, just letting me... let "it" all out. There's a lot to be said about a person's eyes, and in Stephanie's eyes, at least, to me, there seemed to be a LOT of empathy. Now, Stephanie isn't cheap, but I can't think of just about ANYTHING where YOU'D BE A MORON TO NOT SPEND GOOD MONEY!, as important as the area of divorce/custody, and someone of Stephanie's caliber, so to speak, is well worth it. And, It isn't just about the end result: the final decree, or whatever the legal term is. Along the way, LOTS of little costs can and do add up, and Stephanie, of course, took the time to mention it, as part of informing me of things, overall. I'm not getting paid to write this review, but it must sound like it. At the end of the day-- Stephanie's a GOOD person, a GREAT attorney, and a NICE woman. She was fantastic in her treatment of me, as was her staff. As for attorneys: Hearing is one thing, and truly listening, another. Ms. Bandoske did a great job of the latter, and in doing so, got the matter resolved quickly, and with nearly everything that I had asked for... and been completely denied, by my ex!! We asked for consolation to know what to expect in our immigration interview and they flat out stated "we have no idea what they'll ask" which tells me they've never done this before.
