Matt explained everything that was wrong and how he fixed it. He was able to quickly adjust and replace sprinklers, fix a leaky drip line, and determine why our tree was dieing - it had one blocked drip line when it should have had three working ones! He set our timers for optimum results. He also advised us on weed control and how to restore our lawn. We look forward to having a green lawn and a healthy tree. We learned so much! Matt was extremely helpful, responsive when contacted, he works fast and thoroughly. To us his work went above and beyond the price. It's been a yearly issue when the heat starts and the grass starts looking stressed. Relying on Yelp and Google.. lead me to Matt from countryside Lawns. Reached out last week, and prompt communication from the start. Matt arrived today and I led him to the problem area.. After two hours of replacing and adjusting sprinkler heads, I could already see a difference. Knowledgeable, professional and honest.. that best describe the visit. I work with contractors for a living and I have never met anyone who works as hard as Fernando. He took a backyard that was nothing but dirt and turned it into my own personal paradise. I contacted Garden Design through Yelp and received a response the same day. Fernando accommodated my schedule to meet with me since my time was limited here prior to the close on my home. He provided photos of some of his work and even took me to see some of his completed projects. I was impressed with everything I saw. Getting my backyard completed was a priority for me since I have dogs. I closed on my house on a Friday and Fernando came on Saturday to finalize the scope of the work. He started the project that Monday and was finished within two weeks. Not only is Fernando the hardest working guy I've met, he is very nice, friendly and a pleasant person to work with. While complimenting him on the job. I mentioned that my paver driveway was sinking in spots (tire track areas). He said that he installed and repaired pavers and gave me a very competitive bid as compared with two others that I had already obtained. I gave Ed's Landscaping the driveway job. All the pavers were removed, cleaned and replaced. Polymetric sand was used between the pavers to help stabilize them and limit water penetration. Prior to the paver replacement, the sandy subsurface was removed and replaced with stone and thoroughly compacted to prevent a recurrence of the sinking pavers. My 16 year old driveway looks brand new today. I was so pleased with Ed's Landscaping's work that I signed up for weekly yard service in March.
