I was shopping for whiskey for a birthday party and asked the girl wearing a beanie with blond streaks behind the counter for a recommendation. I should have realized she had a bad attitude when she was combative with the customer before me Instead of assisting me she made a condescending comment about my budget and told me to 'just pick something cheap' because I clearly didn't know anything about whiskey. The staff is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help you find what you are looking for, because sometimes you want to try something different and they can give you recommendations. I remember a while back they had a good selection of craft beers and a quick cooling spot for your beer. I went in this week looking for a bottle of La Pinta (pomegranate tequila) and although they didn't have this particular bottle, they had another pomegranate bottle available. Went down by and picked up the long awaited goods. Searched for a new Whiskey to try as well. Staff was friendly, approachable, and gave some honest good perspectives. Glad to have found this gem. Had a great experience here today. Was looking for just a bottle of mezcal for a gift, but had no idea what kind or brand I should be looking for. A staff member approached me and he and another guy helped me find one and I was happy with their recommendation. It's a nice store too! Because I was digging the shop and the helpful employees I bought 3 more bottles of other products for myself and some cream based liqueurs with funny sperm looking containers for my friends. I knew they'd get a kick out of it, and they did! WOW!!! What a selection of Fine Spirits! They really do have a nice selection of just about everything. I wanted to pick up all bottle of Hennessey to try it out. They had a small bottle for $11 that I bought to try it out. I also found the shot bottle of Crown Royal Apple that I bought because I wanted to give that one a try as well. All in all, it was a good experience. But I have to say the cashier seems to be in a real hurry to get you out asap. She really needs to learn the meaning of patience. This was the worst customer service we have ever received. We will never return. We walked in with my daughter, toddler son and my brother who is handicap & walks with a cane. I proceed to hold my 3 year old sons hand to prevent him from touching/breaking any bottles. My brother goes to the walk in cooler and grabs 2 packs of beer. On his way out he accidentally drops one pack of Great White and some bottles busted. The prick manager or owner (don't know his name, but wears glasses and looks like a slob all the time) goes to my brother and says "man you should've asked us for help we don't get reimbursed for these" in a very rude tone. First of all; that is not the customers fault that the business doesn't get reimbursed, you chose that business you take on all the risks. Secondly i went to grab a new Great White 12 pack and he says "just take these broken ones". What fucking business tries to sell broken glass bottles to a consumer regardless of they broke? They carry NUVO & have an amaaaazing selection! The store is so clean, & well kept. Doesn't feel like a typical dirty sketchy liquor store, despite it being in Pico Rivera. I am impressed! The only minor complaint I have, is that the shelves could be labeled, really you gotta look when it comes to searching for a specific product. My rating is based on customer service only. Yes they have a great selection but today I was treated with the stubbornness and discrimination that we are currently seeing in our society today. It was date night for my wife and I , Cadillac margaritas were promised. I road my electric bike over to Ramirez liquor as I am a Pico Rivera resident. I often try to bike when I can in order to lessen my environmental foot print. I ride to work, I ride to my parents house, I ride when it is a reasonable distance.. Once I got to Ramirez, I asked if I could park my bike inside. They responded "No" . That is fine, I understand rules. But when I tried to come to a solution , the manager didn't want to hear anything. That is the part that is so disturbing to me. A person that won't hear anything. In the end, my bike did not get stolen but the fact that the manager didn't want to hear anything I said toward a resolution that would be acceptable to both sides. Now you be the judge if my solution was completely unreasonable: Ramirez has on sight security guards. I wanted to request that the manager ask his security guard to simply keep an eye on it. Recently found this awesome little bottle shop close to home and am thrilled, not sure how I didn't find it sooner! Great selection of craft beers, but to be honest that was my focus and I was "in the zone", busy little store during COVID-19, had to get in and get out, so I'm not positive what else they have to offer, but I think I recall a large liquor selection on the wall up front behind the counter. There's so many breweries nowadays with similar token artwork and I have lost track of what's what entirely, so much still to try, but I know what I like and they had plenty of it, along with plenty of the other unknowns to me for future exploring and sampling. Recommendations: Anything by COOPERAGE BREWING, or OGOPOGO, and they carried both breweries! This will be my new go to bottle shop when looking for good craft close to home! read more

Did not know they did not exchange or refund (until they pointed that out at the store to me).
