Hard to do an accurate review at this time, as our experience was fairly limited on this visit. Stopped in after dinner on a Friday night and we were looking for a nice, quiet wine bar to finish off the evening. Loud, and crowded, but in a good way. It just wasn't the vibe we were looking for with my 91-year-old mother-in-law, so we looked around and then left. Here are my observations: * Seems to be more beer focused than wine. Large list of beers on tap, with about 10-15 bottles of wine in a dispensing machine. * The crowd was younger, with some scattered patrons closer to our age. * Very lively atmosphere, but not sure they have table service (seemed like everyone lined up at the bar to order drinks). * An entire wall of beers and wines available for purchase to go. * The restrooms were clean. * There's primarily on street parking, with lots nearby, but not sure they were public parking or private (no signage). We came here last Sunday just for a couple of drinks on a warm Sunday. I ordered a Chardonnay my friend ordered a IPA beer. Both of them are really good. Definitely a comeback places this place is really chill. read more

Cool little spot in uptown. Lots of great drinks to buy to take he or to enjoy their. They got a small section with games and have a back-inside area with a long rectangular window with a view. On Wednesday night at approximately 730-840pm, there were staff ladies (3) who were the absolute worst in their approach of forcing people out of a fire hazard safety area that leads to the bathroom. However they have chairs that are line up in-front of the said hazardous walk way of the direction towards the bathrooms , so either they were having a bad and pursuing their own self satisfaction. In any case their attitude should have been left at the door. Do not come here if you want to celebrate with your friends. I love coming to The Cellar Bottle Shop after a long day at work, or even just to hang out on the weekend. They have a large array of beer on tap and several bottles of wine. The prices are pretty good too. I'm a big fan of the stouts they have on tap. They also sell bottles of beer, wine, seltzers to go. I also love the fact that they're dog friendly. What's better than drinking a glass of wine or an ice cold beer along with your pup?!? The service here is also good. I've been a frequent customer for several years now and this spot never disappoints. They have a wide selection of beer and wine on tap or to take home (or both!). They have an endless amount of craft beer selection and it's so much fun to just browse and read/view all of the labels to find one that is suited to your taste. There bar and seating are is in the back of the building and although the seating is limited Ive never had an issue finding somewhere to sit. They have a TV that has a revolving display of everything available on tap and they also have a QR code for you to scan and view the menu. The tap selection is also rotating so you what you might have to drink at one visits might not be available on your next, and I personally think this is awesome feature! The tap selection tends to be more local to California and nearby breweries, which is cool because if you find one you really like then you could maybe take a trip to visit it! The building is excellently air conditioned, since we're in a heat wave right now this could be important to some, and always very clean. They do not have a private parking lot, but you can often find parking in front of the establishment on Greenleaf or behind the building in the CVS shared parking lot. I highly recommend having a drink at The Cellar if you're ever in the area, and I would also suggest taking a few beers/wine bottles to go! Surprise, surprise, surprise...Until recently this place was totally unbeknownst to me. Then one day someone advised there's a great place for craft beer and wine on Greenleaf called the cellar. Soon after, we were pleasingly surprised. As you approach the cellar from Greenleaf you see the sign and dark windows. You're initial thought is maybe this is a liquor type store that has a good wine selection. Then you open the door and are shocked by not only the large selection of craft beers and wines but also by the bar and the lounge type seating area to the rear. There is music playing to set the theme and the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. This place is on fleek with all it has to offer. Me and a friend arrived to a packed house which resulted in standing most of the visit but once seats became available we made sure to grab them. The wait times for pours are decent. Things may look hectic with the crowd but everyone is served at a fast pace. My sips consisted of four...Modern Times Black House which is one of my favorites and three sours (Saint Archer Blackberry Gose, Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project Petite Sour Raspberry and Grimm Citra Pop). I'm pretty sure you can tell that I was in a mood for sours, all of which were ice cold. I wrapped up the visit with a few bottle purchases then headed home.
