Amazing customer service and different drink options. I personally went with some non alcoholic beer and it was delicious, cold and tasted like a normal beer. The ambiance was good as they were showing nfl games. Don't miss out on a cozy lounge type in uptown Whittier. They have a nice seating area and also they sell Alcohol to go. Lots of screens and projector for games

Amazing! I love stouts and the bartender was great in describing this drink. She warned me that it was strong, but did advise me that it was sweet as well. Ambience is pretty cool, nice environment. Def coming back

Hidden gem in downtown Whittier. 24 California brewery beers and several wines on tap, as well as a large assortment of bottle and canned beers, meads, ciders, and wines for purchase. Music was very loud, so it was hard to communicate despite me being the only patron on a Friday afternoon. However, the staff was still personable and knowledgeable of the drafts on tap.

One of my favorite spots in uptown I frequent often. Amazing staff and always great beers on tap.

I love coming to The Cellar Bottle Shop after a long day at work, or even just to hang out on the weekend. They have a large array of beer on tap and several bottles of wine. The prices are pretty good too. I'm a big fan of the stouts they have on tap. They also sell bottles of beer, wine, seltzers to go. I also love the fact that they're dog friendly. What's better than drinking a glass of wine or an ice cold beer along with your pup?!? The service here is also good. Since discovering the Cellar, I've brought several people to this little gem in Uptown Whittier. Great drinks, great people, and great vibes!

Such a cute little beer and wine bar/shop in downtown Whittier! Place was fairly spacious with a lot of seatings. The beer and wine selections were great. Hubby had two beer flights which were all strong and tasty. I was very interested in all the champagne bottles and special beers on the shelves and in the refrigerators. I am sure everybody can find something here to take home!

An amazing variety of beers and wine. Always has my favorite Pliny the Elder. Nice cool place to have a beer on a hot day. Then a great selection of bottles to go.

I stopped in really quickly and was pleasantly surprised! They have an amazing tap selection to choose from - plus the option to purchase bottles (think Bevmo but cooler). I ordered a flight and asked for the most popular drinks. Well.....apparently everything is popular. So I ended up choosing four at random. I only liked two out of the four selections that I received. I definitely need to study their taste selections harder and read the notes more thoroughly.* Nonetheless, I will still be back, but with a better understanding of the menu. Still no complaints here. The service was awesome and so was the overall vibe. Another side note: outside food is allowed inside. Like how cool is that?! This is totally the go-to spot after work with some friends or maybe a lowkey weekend night. Atmosphere: A- Drinks: B+ Food: N/A Parking: Plenty (street and nearby parking lots) Overall: B+ ish

They have a large outdoor patio to catch the vibe on the street, but tonight we were inside for Steel Rod an amazing band of talented musicians that can play anything! From 70's to today they've got all genres covered! Our waitress was friendly and the bartender was pouring some great drinks. Ordered the Onion Rings to share and wow! Perfectly battered in a tasty beer batter and great crunch to them! Also ordered some wings, the Asian Zing which were tasty and with a sweet heat kick to them! They were really good too! And split a Tavern Burger which was delicious!!!! The beef was quality and so juicy! Seriously need to pop in more just for the food!

My husband and I have been wanting to come back here for a while, so we decided to have dinner here…read moreon Monday for our date night. We started off by ordering drinks; my husband tried their Bodega Brewing Co. 'Mala Suerta' Dark Lager, and I had the Pinot Grigio 2024 La Boatina. Both of our drinks were great! For food we shared the Paella and Satchel's Mac & Cheese. Both dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and had generous portions. We finished off our meal with the Crema Catalana for dessert, which was bright, zesty, refreshing, and tasty! It's a lighter dessert that is just the right amount of sweet. The whole meal was excellent! Clearly a lot of love and energy has gone into this menu. The ingredients are high quality and the dishes are full of flavor. The staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is perfect for a nice evening out. It's very cozy and romantic with beautiful decor. Before tip it was just about $85. Honestly a steal in our opinion, the meal and experience is well worth the money. We've decided: we're crazy for not coming more often after our first visit, and will be back soon and much more often.

Had the O'Melveny Red Ale (San Fernando Brewing) -- a malty amber with a hint of sourdough -- smooth, slightly bready, and poured with that perfect creamy head that quietly says "yes, we actually clean our lines." But if you want it lively, go in on a Wednesday for some fun Bingo Boogie (trust me, it's soo much fun! I highly recommend it!) There's a great selection of drinks, between the wine, the beers on tap, and the beers in cans and bottles, you can't really go wrong. The service was great! They were super friendly, and even let us try a couple of drinks before buying a full glass. I fell in love with Delirium Red, which is a red beer with notes of Cherry and Elderberry. Food wise we got the Charcuterie for Two, it's just like that perfect board with different crackers, breads, meats and cheeses. It goes well with anything you drink for sure! We got the Chimichurri Steak, that was such a tender cut of beef, and the chimichurri sauce just gave it that extra zing. It came with a side of fries, and I love me some good fries, for some reason these fries were just the perfect fry, crispy with a soft center. Ended with the Baked Brie, because why not. It was served in a sourdough bread bowl and came with pita bread slices on the side. It was so melty and good, and did we go ham on that sourdough bread. Since we were there on a Wednesday, we got to experience Bingo Boogie. Which is super fun. You get a bingo card with different songs from different eras. Zee, who runs the show, is so much fun. We were all singing and dancing along. So if you're bored, or want to try something new, go on a Wednesday! Get some food at around 6, party starts at 7! The Local is a great place for hanging out with your friends, maybe get a date in there, or any of their special events, like Bingo Boogie, or Trivia! You're bound to have a good time!
