When I asked him about getting the variety of aging they offer he did it again like no one else has ever done it. I've since picked up all my bottles and just ordered the Whiskey infused by "Metal" can't wait to get his email letting me know he has it and its waiting for pick up. I went to the Barley Bin earlier, hoping to find Radlers. Sadly, they don't carry them. We were going to go to another corner liquor store, but knew they might also not have a big variety. Anyway, we made it here, but couldn't find the passionfruit juice we got last time. No biggie though. They have Paulaner grapefruit Radlers for $9.99, and the Stiegl ones I believe are $14.99. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. My sister in law and I walked in; I didn't have a mask on because I didn't have one, but my sister in law did and the person running the store would still not sell to her even though she was buying. I asked the guy at the cashier why he won't sell to her and he completely ignored me acting as if he didn't hear me and didn't say anything so I'm assuming that he didn't sell to her because I didn't have a mask on, funny thing is, one of his own employees didn't have a mask on as he was stocking the shelves so I didn't understand why he was making it a big problem. We would've been out of there in 3 min. I didn't mind waiting outside, but I didn't even get the opportunity because right away he chose not to sell to my sister in law who had a mask on. I ended up going to the liquor store right across pep boys, I didn't wear a mask and was treated like a regular customer regardless if I had a mask on or not. I've been going to this place for about 2-3 years now and every time I visit it I'm never disappointed ! The staff no matter who it is are completely helpful and give awesome recommendations. They are also very honest about their prices and their selection. If they know somewhere cheaper or know somewhere better they will tell you. The guy at the front asked if we needed help, we said no we are looking. He then pointed out this $10 bottle of Vodka. Ok.. thats cool but we wanted some good stuff. After about 10 minutes of looking he told us that we either need to buy something or leave. I thought he was joking, but he was serious. He did a complete 180 on us from being helpful to being a complete ass. He said he was tired of watching us. I didn't even know we were being watched. He also said he was the owner, Mario. Shitty experience here tonight. I usually love coming here and have spent quite a bit of money at liquor mart. I got Gin and wanted club soda but they didn't carry it. I saw tonic water and asked the employee if he knew what the difference between tonic water and club soda was. He tells me "they're just different brands" so I buy it. I get home to find out that tonic water has a shit ton of calories and sugar and club soda has none. I call to see if I can return it since I was there 10 minutes prior and I'm told I can't return it. Really? I'm not trying to return the alcohol! Ridiculous. Overpriced too. Each time I took my time the old staff got pissed and told me to get lost. the new staff is way better. had to get a gift for my bro bachlor party in veags and they hooked me up with some tequilla that fit the event They also got a new guy who is also a beer nut and he got the owner to clear a full aisle and more of the frige for handcrafted and solid brands of beer. when I told him I was going to a beer tasting and needed two bottles of something diffrent... This place is pretty great. They have a great selection. Tons of different beers. Best price I've seen on pinnacle vodka. And all kinds of liquors and regular drinks as well. Some of there's things I've seen cheaper at other places. So defiantly can be a bit pricey. But I guess beats not finding what you need or driving all over and paying just as much or more on gas.
