They are exceptional. I love their work. My neighbors and I had used Ramiro before to get rid of a huge tree in our backyards. Since they had done such a great job I called them again to cut a small tree and trim 2 fig trees I had. I just so happen to have a doctor's appointment and I wanted to rush back to make sure I was home for when they needed to get the job started. But when I got back Ramiro's team had already gotten the job done and they left my backyard nice and clean! His prices are very reasonable and better than other companies I got quotes from. We have used Ramiro's Tree Service in the past and were pleased. Today they are doing tree service for our neighbor across the street. In the process, one of their trucks ripped down our Verizon Internet and phone line. When approached, they said the line was too low. No. It is the same height as all the other lines on that pole. They refused to take responsibility for the damage they created. I will never use them again and when friends and family ask for a tree service recommendation, I will tell them to stay away from Ramiro's. read more

I have a large tree that needs trimming badly. Ramiro's now TWICE has failed to schedule the service. They'll show up and give you an estimate, but then if they don't want the job, they just don't call you back, ever. They have now done this to me twice; never again. This is not a way to do business. Very good service and I felt the price was reasonable. They came in days after we moved in to help clean up our yard which hadn't been maintained in some time. They cut tons of branches that were going haywire and did a great job. One star is knocked off because it was unclear that they did not mow the lawn, they really only do cleanup. Also the person who provided the estimate was given the wrong address from the reception team so arrived over an hour late. It worked out fine because we were home but was a hassle. Ramiro's removed a massive old elm tree from our back yard in lower Westchester that had died of Dutch Elm. I can't say enough good things about them. The guys on the team were great.They were always on time, courteous, polite and obliging. We had gotten bids from a few Westchester companies and they came in cheaper than anyone else. They cleaned everything up - and replanted some bushes - exactly as promised. Lily in the office is also lovely to deal with. We were very nervous (and heartbroken) about having this tree removed so finding a good service was crucial. I'm so glad we went with them. Very good prices, which was why I went with them. And very nice guys on the job. However, I was dismayed to find that in pruning our maple they stripped the branches, which means they took the majority of the smaller branches off the main branches and we were left with only the canopy. Stripping used to be done a lot, but it's not preferred now and it's considered healthier to leave branches throughout the tree. read more

Winter storm Riley knocked down two very large pine trees including one leaning on my house. Ramiro's Tree Service quickly removed the trees for 30% less than other contractors. They returned a few days later and removed the stumps. This is the second time I needed their service and will hire them again if the need arises. read more

She helps with all the paperwork and scheduling and was excellent at keeping us in the loop on the process. For the day of our tree removal the team showed up on time and were very friendly and such gentleman. The guys were very careful to not hit the house or damage anything on our property. Ramiro recently completed work on our new property in Westchester, NY. It was really easy to schedule the estimate, and I found him punctual, very knowledgeable about trees with a sharp eye and attention to existing and potential issues. He listened to what we thought, gave us his opinion when asked but was never pushy about doing more than what was requested. The price was less than half of what I had expected to pay! The crew came out the next day, and everything looked very trim, all the trees/branches/leaves were removed and there was no mess. I can't say enough great things about this company. They are so organized, professional, and reasonably priced compared to the competition. I did have a lower estimate come in from a company that seemed highly unprofessional and desperate to get work. The other company even lied about the job being a 1 day job with 2 guys. Ramiro's took 3 days with a crew of 5 guys and worked extremely hard. The guys were extremely thorough and safe. I had concerns about trees that were very close to my home and they took extra precautions to carefully lower them piece but piece and neatly remove everything.They are a pleasure and even obliged my last minute requests to clear shrubs. read more

i am a very disatisifed 12 year client of this tree service. i have been recommending them to everyone i know on my block or out of my area and they have generated a lot of work from my recommendations. i am a recurring yearly client - this february a tree came down in my back yard - in march i contacted them and made an appoiontment for Ramiro to come out - it took several weeks for him to come - once he did he said he would come and do the work in 2 weeks or so - after that every week there was an excuse why they could not show up - i had an appointment for today - i took the day off of my job and got a call this morning that they cannot come - i am out a days pay and very disappointed in the way they handled this - its not a big job maybe that's why they don't want to come but i am a yearly recurring client that should have not been treated this way. i will never recommend them to anyone and if anyone ask i will not give them a good recommendation anymore. very poor service on their part read more
