If you live in Miami and don't own a guayabera - you don't know what you are missing. This versatile garment can be worn for formal occasions, casual events, going out, or even just hanging with the boys for cigars and dominoes. Instead of sweating your balls off in a suit the next time you have a beach wedding, wear a guayabera and you'll not only look cool, but feel cool as a cucumber as well. But if you are going to do it, you might as well do it right. Don't buy a "Cubavera" or any cheap imitation guayabera. You need to go to Ramon Puig as this is the original "House of the Guayabera". Ramon Puig has been producing the Rolls-Royce of Guyaberas for over 40 years. If it's good enough for Presidents Reagan, Bush, and Clinton, then it's surely good enough for your monkey ass. Guayaberas here run from the high end Irish and Japanese linen to linen hybrids to cotton/polyester mixes. They also come in a variety of colors and sizes. The good stuff isn't cheap, but it is silky smooth to the touch and ooooh so cool to the skin. The staff here is great and will help you find that proper fit. They also have a variety of pants and hats if you want to go all out Cuban. The best part is after you find the perfect guayabera, you can just pop next door to El Mago de Las Fritas for a bite and complete your Little Havana experience. Walk in a gringo, and leave a Papi Chulo.....

Ramon Puig, proprietor and master tailor of this store, is a venerable institution in and of himself. He's made guayaberas for presidents - Reagan, George Bush (the first), and Bill Clinton - and proudly displays the photos. Interspersed are celebrity shots as well - Ricky Martin among them. The store is large, with low ceilings and poor lighting. We received an offer of help in Spanish, though there was an adequate smidgeon of English available for us to communicate. Circular racks are jammed near each other with hundreds of plastic-wrapped guayaberas -- in the Classic Cuban style (loose, with long vertical pleats running the length of the front of the shirt). It was a little difficult to browse, but after a while it becomes apparent that all one needs to do is find the size and type of fabric desired (blends, all linen, cotton, etc.) as the designs on the front of the shirts are all the same. You won't find the elaborate embroidery of Mexican guayas here. However, if you're simply looking for a classic Cuban guayabera shirt with its clean, elegant lines and exceptional tailoring, this is the place for you. Women's styles are also available. And the stuff ain't cheap. An all-linen shirt will run you close to $100; we opted for a linen blend that was about $70.

I am now official - finally bought my first Guayabera! Loved the selections and the lady working answered all of my questions and was very accommodating. I bought 2 and I'm pretty sure I'll be back soon...

Lotus came…read morehighly recommended from a friend who is a frequent shopper and who has never had a bad experience so I decided to give it a shot in preparation for a trip to Las Vegas in 2 weeks. I saw the Mikael sequin dress online but wanted to try it on before purchasing so I called the store yesterday (Friday) to see if they had it. The girl I spoke to over the phone was so nice and so accommodating. She took down my information and told me the dress was available in my size and in both colors as advertised online and that they would hold it for me to try on in store. I asked her where the store was located and she indicated that it was off of Kendall Drive and SW 137th Ave, next to Dandy Bear. I asked her about the stores business hours and what would be the best time to pass by, and she told me they were open till 8 PM and that I should go by today (Saturday) because the dress wouldn't be ready till today (again, Saturday). I specifically asked about the best time because Lotus Couture is located right up the street from my house so I could have come to try it on YESTERDAY but she insisted it wouldn't be ready till TODAY. When I arrived to the store (literally less than 30 minutes ago - I just left) the girl at the counter told me they'd sold the dress yesterday and they didn't have any left! I am so upset about this complete disregard and lack of customer service. I would have bought the dress yesterday had the girl over the phone told me it was available, but she told me it wouldn't be because they had to pull it from storage and it wouldn't be available till today! I can't believe that I was stood up like this, what a TERRIBLE first impression. I had my heart set on trying on this dress and purchasing it for my trip to Vegas. Thanks for nothing Lotus Couture!

So AGHmazing I walked out with 3 dresses instead and returned a week later to purchase 3 more. This is a rarity for me since I'm such a picky shopper. The store is kept clean. The owner is young, sweet and very helpful. She even gave me a discount for my birthday dress purchase. I am in complete aghhhh. Price point is PERFCTION and the quality of clothes is A+++. I am so happy I found you. You have a forever loyal client in me. It's a hidden gem.

Urgent Concern - Customer Treatment at Storefront (March 24, 2026)(12:30pm-12:53pm)…read moreI want to start by saying I genuinely love this brand and have always had positive experiences. However, my visit to this specific storefront on March 24, 2026 around 12:30 PM was extremely disappointing and concerning. I came into the store with items I had already selected online and politely asked for assistance locating them. The first associate (with black bangs near the fitting rooms) was initially dismissive, stating she didn't know what I was referring to. After I showed her the item, she directed me to the correct area, and I was able to find my size. I then approached another associate at the front (with green in her hair) to ask about a lace two-piece set. She informed me it was only available online, which I understood. I asked if there were similar options since the dress I selected was sheer, and she recommended an alternative, which I appreciated. At checkout, after ringing up my items, I was told the store is cashless. I said I would step out to grab my card and be right back. I returned within moments (this can be verified on camera), but when I walked back in, the associate was already putting my items back. I said, "Excuse me, I just said I'd be right back," but she did not initially acknowledge me. When she did respond, she stated she didn't know if I meant later or another day. This could have been easily clarified with a simple question at the time. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she could not retrieve my items until she finished assisting another customer and putting items away. I said okay and stepped aside. However, she then raised her voice across the store, telling me to go retrieve the items myself -- in front of other customers. This interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. I remained calm, but the tone, lack of communication, and escalation were uncomfortable and inappropriate for a retail environment. What was most concerning was the overall demeanor and the way I was addressed, which made me feel disrespected as a customer. As someone visiting from out of town, this was not the experience I expected from a brand I genuinely enjoy. I strongly recommend additional training in customer service, communication, and professionalism for this location. Clear communication about store policies (such as cashless payments and item holding) would also prevent situations like this. (Which helps with the image of rage baiting) Again, I want to emphasize that I support the brand but this experience does not reflect the standard I believe you intend to uphold.

First, I am a clothing manufacturer that produces overseas. I bought some items from them and had a problem with the last piece. It did not fit and it was not cut to size -- meaning to a size chart. The closure on the piece was on the garment. I was told if I sent it back but it was deemed damaged they would give back the shipping. guess what they got the piece back and told me it was a true fitm yes for a barbie and it was my fault about the closure on the back . I was lucky to get a refund. I recommended their boutique to a friend who became a customer. I know if there is a response it will be that they said I could send it back over two weeks with my friend. I did not know when I would see her and spent one hour at a post office paying to send it back. I told Meagan the manager, who said you should come try clothes on instead of ordering online. I live two hours away and that's why I ordered it online. My friend who is local came to pick it up. I told her based on my experience I would not be shopping there anymore and nor would my friend. She said she did not care that was my choice and to have a good day. Then you wonder why small businesses suffer. I will take my business else where and let all my friends know -- I have more than one not to shop there. I am sure they have plenty of customers so losing a few really doesn't matter. Thank you for your great service. hence the name OHm boutique........peace out
