When I first started going to Ramon, I was really happy. I felt like I was getting educated about the health of my hair and how to better care for it. I ordered the products and supplements he recommended and everything. I wasn't thrilled with my color. It never turned out the way I requested, but I figured he knew what was best because he's the professional. My daughter and I recently went in for the first time since Covid. Despite following Ramon's instructions and faithfully using the products (Viviscal supplements since January, Kevin Murphy shampoo, Moroccan Oil on the ends), my hair was dull, lifeless, and extremely dry. Keep in mind I don't use heat styling at all. Air dry and brush only. I requested a trim and deep conditioning treatment. Instead, I was told that's not what I needed. I got a clear glaze (?) that stripped my hair even more. It now is brassy and the texture of straw. I also walked out with layers and bangs, which I specifically did NOT want with my fine texture and lifestyle (daily exercise = no hair in face). My daughter was also given bangs and layers because Ramon said her straight, all one length gorgeous hair was too flat on her face. She even told Ramon she did not want that. She burst into tears the moment we left the salon, as she has been growing her hair out for 2 years and now she's stuck with a hack job of choppy layers. We have tried for 2 weeks to love it and deal, but we just don't. I am disappointed that our requests were ignored and that Ramon basically went rogue on our hair. I will not be back. read more

I love this little hair salon and have received excellent service and outcomes. Maddie has been my go to person and satisfies me with color and cuts every time! Maddie and others go to periodic hair shows so they are always up on the latest trends. I went to Ramon's Hair Salon today for a haircut. When I walked in I told him what I wanted: an undercut angled bob. And I showed him a picture of what I had in mind, but I wanted it about half an inch longer than the picture, about to my jawline. After he did the initial cut, it was still about half an inch too long, so I indicated with my fingers how much more I wanted cut off from the front, and told him I was fine with the back getting shorter, so that I could maintain the angle. Instead of starting from the front and working to the back (which is what you are supposed to do when cutting an angled bob) he started in the back and when he got to the front, he had to cut a few inches off to now accommodate the shorter back. I told him I was fine with that. I even told him I was okay with the back being stacked instead of undercut as long it was even on both sides and I had an angle. He then told me I was difficult. Apparently if you do not like the initial cut and you'd like for him to make adjustments, you are difficult. He was visibly shaking angry that I wanted some tweaks. Then he would cut one side too short, then cut the other side shorter, but each time the sides would still be severely lopsided, longer on one side than the other. He would say, "No that's your ear." But I have two ears, one on each side. That doesn't explain why one side is a couple of inches longer than the other. He then said he couldn't keep cutting it shorter. I am okay with very short hair, I've had it before, but I am not okay with a chop-job, so I said, "But it's still uneven." And he said, "No." And I said, "Look at it. Does this look even to you?" And he lied to my face and said, "YES", then proceeded to kick me out of the salon. This is the worst haircut I have ever had and the rudest treatment I have ever experienced at ANY place of business. I have only two criteria for a haircut, clean angle and even. I got neither, as you can see from the picture. I would give this ZERO stars, if that were an option. read more

Lexi is an extremely knowledgeable and talented esthetician. She cares about you and your skin. A facial from her is the best way to start your day. She also does lash extensions! I followed Maddie from her last salon to here. She is my hair girl and I recommend her to everyone. What makes Maddie an even better hair stylist is that she listens to you and wants you to leave feeling and looking amazing. Love this girl. The rest of the team at Ramon's is amazing. My mother came back home with her hair completely uneven. I was utterly shocked when she walked through the door. It was not a good cut... seriously uneven. Apparently my mother asked Ramon to make her hair even after he kept cutting , and he called her "difficult" and was apparently furious. He kicked her out for telling him he hadn't cut her hair straight, claiming that he indeed had. I can clearly see he did NOT cut her hair straight!! What an absolute jerk. My poor mother was extremely distraught. Luckily, she didn't pay $75 for that horrible cut. She has had better cuts at Super Cuts. read more
