The sales person with whom I've dealt is David. No pressure. He let me test drive the thing. Then, he let me off of the car lot without tackling me and pinning me to the parking lot. I really appreciate his time and his demeanor. I'm still researching a few more vehicles, but I so appreciated this man's time and the way he interacted with me that I know I'll be going back. I did go to Car Expo in Downey to see a Ford Expedition King Ranch. The salesman wanted to pin me down as to whether or not I would be making a purchase today. I said I wasn't sure, but I wanted to test drive the vehicle to see how I like it. The salesman would not let me test drive it, and when he did get the keys for it it wouldn't start. Can you believe it? I guess that it wasn't meant to be. The vehicles at Uruapan are clean, the lot and business itself are really clean and the professional staff makes someone feel at home. I'm giving Uruapan four stars because I haven't made the purchase, yet. I'll write more later to tell you of the whole experience from start to finish. In the meantime, a customer is buying a vehicle as well as the salesperson's time. Some dealerships might remember that.

He tried to screw me over with the AS-IS document they have you sign because its a used car. But since i was his business neighbor and truck only showed 88K miles he said he would fix it. Long story short, after a 3 weeks of him having it, I came back in town and when they TRIED to deliver it to me it broke down again. Paid $5500 cash down and made 2 payments to bank and as of now 1/29/18 still have no truck. Going back and forth with bank and filed a claim with DMV. Now just got a call that its in a repo yard and bank has no idea why since I have made my payments even tho i have no truck to save my credit. My son got a Honda from him a few months prior and was in a accident and car was totaled. He said he tried braking getting off the freeway and the car would not stop. Salesman (which till today we have no name) try to do everything in his power not to return the downpayment . How do you make someone who does not understand English properly sign a contract . That contract was done incorrectly if it is not bilingual ( when someone speaks Spanish only) Come to our surprise the manager statement was " well good luck trying to find you downpayment " and hang up the phone . I have report this to consumer affairs and I fee sorry for people who put there trust in this type of business. He got under the truck to examine due to a small puddle of oil. He confirmed it was clearly not a "loose oil drain bolt" and stated it was obvious to anyone the leak was a bigger issue; possibly to do with the oil pan due to the amount of oil throughout the undercarriage. They did state the issue would be looked into and fixed prior to taking ownership of the truck but were clear it couldn't be looked at or addressed the "same day" as the mechanic location down the street had just shut down for the day and everyone had left. So this claim that it was fixed the same day is highly suspect and further leads me to believe this is a dishonest business. Either they lied about being able to look at it while I was there or they are lying about fixing the issue the same day. Being we are confident it wasn't a drain plug issue, you the reader of this, can do the math. As I stated, due to the issues I did start with a very low out the door offer of $30k, which the owner points out but does not mention the fact they came back stating the full price plus all costs...I countered with an offer of $35k out the door and was brushed off. At that point I asked if they had any intention on negotiating the price wherein I was told what I outlined in my original review. All of this aside, there is no excuse, and not shockingly no apology, for running my credit prior to any negotiations taking place. I hope this review saves at least one other person from making the mistake of doing business at this location.

Not many cars do that nowadays thats a hybrid~Most go 60/40 Searching online, we found one at Romcar that looked decent and had the mileage range we were looking for. I called to verify if the vehicle was still available at their lot, Art immediately and politely confirmed yes! We trekked over and noticed how he already pulled out the car in question ready for us to view which was a positive thumbs up on our end because we were busy Sunday viewing multiple places. We met Art and he listened to our situation, our concerns, and answered any of our questions and let us test drive it with thorough instructions on the route! One thing I appreciate since I have a weird anxiety purchasing used cars.....was that Art was quick, nice, and RESPSECTED our space.
